Unlike the US, in Asia the aged are respected for their wisdom. It's a shame that the college couldn't let you continue to teach one or two classes instead of a full load, so that the students could partake of your wisdom. Reading books and articles has been hard with my eyes, but my computer opens the world to me. I can blog which I am doing here and I have made many new friends around the globe who share concerns -- both from Israel and Palestine, for instance. I also started some discussion group things in areas of interest of my own listed below. Some are pretty barren, but some are most active with no particular efforts on my part apart from getting rid of the spammers. What if death is what you were born to do to really live? What if you are going to meet the creator of the universe? I believe we are all going to meet Him and be accountable for how we treated His son, Jesus Christ, the son of the only living God. If we have accepted Him as our Lord, I think we are going to a place that is so awesome that we as humans can't even describe it.
