You have it about right. I was discussing why women don't take the drug, not if you should take the drug.

Would you take Proscar, which cuts your rate of prostate cancer in half, but messes up your love life? Most men don't...yet those pushing Tamoxifen deny it might be a problem for women...they even deny that it is a problem. And that is the point of my essay.

If you want a recommendation, here it is:

If a woman has a very high risk, she should take the drug (e.g. genetic factor where every woman in the family dies of breast cancer)..

But they (greedy drug companies?) are pushing it to every woman who is listed as "high risk", which is a huge population. And I am leery about this; and even though I fit in that huge population, I don't take it myself.

Doyle Wheeler,
I read your entire conclusion on this drug and was totally confused as to what point you were trying to make until the very last line you finally if not painfully you put the article bed with your conclusion that you recommend the drug.
After reading your article if a woman took your advice and she was at less that a 90 percent risk factor she would have to be crazy. At least that was my take this back and forth run-on conclusion.
