A report on TMZ indicates that famed golfer Tiger Woods’ recent car accident may not have been an accident after all.
According to a source, Woods told a bystander that his lacerations did not come from the accident, but from an attack by his wife, Elin Nordegren. Nordegren, upset by reports that Woods was involved in another romantic relationship, scratched his face. When Woods attempted to leave in his SUV, Nordegren followed and struck the vehicle several times with a golf club. Woods, possibly distracted and disoriented from prescription pain medication he was using, then crashed into the hydrant and the tree as previously reported.
These reports have not been confirmed as of this writing and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackOkay…. what are the odds that the item she chose to use in the attack, is the only reason he IS “Tiger Woods”. How fitting.
Bob Hayes – ALL RUMOR AND NO FACT! THANKS FOR TURNING BNN INTO ANOTHER NATIONAL ENQUIRER (and TMZ)!
Can’t you leave that crap THERE? Or do you crave attention so badly for yourself that you have to drag it here?
DISGUSTING!
If you do not wish to read stories about celebrities in scandal, m2c, there is a very simple remedy available to you: don’t read those stories.
BNN covers a very wide range of topics. My own reporting ranges from health care reform to political conventions to, yes, somewhat tabloidy material about celebrities. It’s just part of the great diversity of topics that is the Internet, and citizen journalism in particular.
It isn’t my job to write only the kinds of stories that you want to read. It’s YOUR job to find the stories that YOU want to read. I hope you can find a lot of those stories here at BNN – and if not, I suggest you write them.
Don’t worry, Mr. Hayes. I will avoid all your articles like the plague. I just hadn’t seen anything so low and malicious and stupid on BNN before. Up to now – even when I don’t agree with an author’s point of view – I have had some level of respect fot the author and topic. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for you.
This guy Hayes. It reminds me that the so called media are the scum of the earth. They are people who have no talent and are constantly trying to bring down people who do.
m2c, do you crave attention so badly for yourself that you have to comment on every story that is put up on BNN?? Mr. Hayes is doing his job,try to respect that! Let Simon and Jan decide what is best for this forum! If you don’t care for the story just move on!!
K you know who AND Hayes:
The “job” of pretending to “report” malicious gossip is one that I equate with pimping. It’s also the printed word’s version of the “papparazzi” who are also vultures and bottom feeding scuz buckets.
Just thought I’d let Mr. Hayes know that especially since his bio suggests that he expects to be taken seriously.
K you know who said at 10:06 pm:
K – This is a blog! People write stories and other people comment on them. That’s what it’s here for. That’s what I participate in.
What you seem to be doing – following me around, criticizing where and when and what I comment on – is called stalking. And that’s very very different – and sick.
m2c, you have some nerve to talk about stalking, every time Mr. Hayes has put up a story you have to post one of your sorry reply’s against the story, followed by a personal attack on him as well. As you say, Disgusting!
m2c Have a good day Miss.Fit
K – I replied to Hayes’ two recent stories about Tiger Woods and I’d be done with it except for you.
This is a blog. I have a right to tell the author what I think of his article. And he deserves to know that he’s lost a reader for ALL his articles because of it.
I do not follow other bloggers around and attack them for their comments like you do.
And I am not ashamed of what I write as YOU seem to be since you’re hiding the screen name you usually use. LOL!
Ignore them m2c. TMZ and the Enquirers are the 2 crappiest, feed of the bottom of the sewer gossip mags there are. Fox News reported this Friday. Hays is just copying the 2. No new news.

I think it’s a shame that you pick on a man trying to be a good person. Who just so happens to have god given talent, class and a family to protect. I wonder if you do it for your own good. I don’t care what you say about me… Have a field day, I won’t be back
Good Grief people….turns out the Tiger is actually a Cheetah and suddenly people are ripping others apart over it? Get real. The article clearly states that the information being reported is rumor and should not be taken as fact. The fact IS this is probably what most of us believe happened anyway! Why else would Tiger (Alias Cheetah) be out driving with no shoes at 2 A.M., barely make it out of the driveway before taking out some hedges, driving over a median, side swiping some more hedges, mowing down a fire hydrant before finally being stopped by an unfortunate tree that got in his way. Actually, it is lucky the tree stopped him before he barrelled through someone’s home or hit another car head on!
Let’s face it, the man cheated on his wife (apparently frequently as the women are coming out of the wood work and appear to have proof) and he got caught. Facts would seem to indicate the wife was not too happy with the article that came out THE SAME DAY OF THE “ACCIDENT” and an arguement occurred. The fact that BOTH rear passenger windows were broken out would also seem to indicate he was fleeing as there could be NO possible reason for his wife to break BOTH windows out to “save her husband” from his run in with the tree. That was an obvious cover for the arguement that took place prior to his “accident”. I would venture to guess she got in at least one good shot to the face and/or head before he made it to the car and THAT is why he was driving like a drunk. As far as Tiger’s privacy….well….it’s the nature of the beast….with fame and fortune comes a glass house. Perhaps not the best living quarters for a golfer with a wandering eye! FOUR!!!!!!!
