Wanted to add: I wonder how Lyons can live with the fact that some defense attorneys are eager accomplices to their client’s heinous crimes & cover-ups. Lyons & Baez both know their client is guilty & they are not defending her, they are actively helping her to make a mockery of the judicial system. They’re all willing to LIE for the sake of letting Caylee’s murder go unanswered.

Rather than linking to a video of Lyon’s distasteful speech, I think a transcript of her actual words should be posted all over the internet. What kind of lawyer won’t even stand behind their OWN words? (A lawyer who knows how despicable her words really were & is ashamed.)

I agree with you totally, Simon. Not much justice for these poor little children at all. It’s happening every week now, I pray that it doesn’t become so commonplace that we learn to turn a blind eye to it.

I found the Andrea Lyon’s speech at the Conference in Florida in 2008 on YouTube. It is in two parts. As you may be aware by now, the video of this speech is no longer available on WFTV.

Hi, Treece! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

What really gets me is that Lyons and Bozo can freely accuse Roy Kronk and smear him all over BUT Lyons was able to make wftv.com REMOVE that video of her horrible speech at the conference! I guess she doesn’t like to be treated the way she treats other people! The report about it being removed says that the person who holds those seminars asked wftv to remove it! That may be true but I bet Lyons was behind it! And even if she wasn’t, what protection does Kronk or any other innocent person have? Why should SHE get MORE consideration?

M2c, I agree, how can Lyons or bozo (as Jan so correctly calls him) live with themselves. To me they are almost as bad as the murderer. I am all for a fair trial for everyone BASED ON THE FACTS not hiding them.

It’s tragic that our so-called “justice” system is set up to not only NOT seek the truth but to HELP BURY IT!

The victims of crime are again victimized by the “system.” By monsters like Andrea Lyons who are allowed to do and say anything they want (even when they know it’s a lie and ruins innocent peoples’ lives).

The system is broken and I don’t know how it can be fixed.

Saluki, that was not Ron Cummings’ truck that said “Grave Digger”. It belonged to someone else and isn’t even they same model or year as the “Only God Can Judge Me” truck.

Thanks for the cry. I had gone through my day making my children know over and over how thankful I am for them. I’m sure they’re sick of hearing it. Not once today did I think of the families who are writhing in pain over not knowing how or where their precious babies are. Thank you for taking the time on a family holiday to make me even more thankful. And to those who are hurting, I am so sorry for your suffering and that I have not done more to make this a safer place for our hearts to live happily.

One thing for sure and two for certain, if Casey Anthony is not convicted, there is no such thing as justice and we better all go in a cave and hide. As for little Hayleigh Cummings, my gut feeling is that she has also gone to Heaven and is no longer among us. Too much time has passed without a belivable sighting and way too many conflicting stories. None of which can be believed. Another gut feeling is that Misty knows exactly where Hayleigh is but fears telling anyone. We can only hope that at some time in the future, the location becomes clear and her little body is found for proper burial. Again, I do not feel we will be celebrating finding Hayleigh alive but, we have to grieve all over again when her remains are uncovered. When you look at the precious faces of these little children who so much trust the adults and parents to look after them, are betrayed and sent to death at the hands of a parent or an adult, it is enough to tear the heart out of the meanest person on earth. Here in North Carolina, we now have the case of little Shanyia Davis to deal with. Her little smiling face will haunt me forever and the persons responsible for her death stand as stoic as rocks when they are spoken to about her. How on earth can anyone hard a trusting little baby? It is beyond my imagination as to how that can be done. I have just prayed that God will intervene in these monstrous murders of our babies.

How much injustice has to occur to seek justice? How can the defense be exempt from prosecution for libel and slander, while they continue assasinate the character of innocent individuals? We need to campaign for real justice for Caylee by continuing to publicly expose these low-life attorneys for the greedy, dishonest, manipulative scum that they are!

a trial is not about the truth..its about winning and losing. Careers are made and broken on the outcomes of notorious cases.
Jan you say no one in “the law business is involved.” How can you be so sure?
Another blog spoke of a retired law officer in a neighboring city whos daughter died last year.
Is it out of the realm of possibility he snatched Haleigh to “rescue” her?
I think not.

As to the Haleigh case, I do not for a moment believe that anyone outside the family circle abducted the child. I have listened again to the original 911 tapes and the various interviews of Misty and Ronald. There is a strange disconnect in all of the tapes which indicate to me some hidden agenda by both Misty and Ronald. Let us remember for instance a video of Ronald and Misty being filmed in front of Ron’s truck upon which was the decal saying Grave Digger. The next time they were filmed in a segment showing the truck the decal read Only God can judge me. Who would think of such a thing in the middle of a child abduction unless they perhaps might be culpable in some way. Secondly, Ron’s tatoo, a very strange thing indeed to put a picture of your child on your skin unless perhaps you know she may not be coming home. Just my humble opinion of course!

I think that the prosecution IS***INTERESTED IN THE TRUTH****unlike the defendent MS.Anthony. If she were truly innocent she would have cooperated with the police her parents, and anyone who would listen. Conversely she has done everything to delay justice, she with her demands for Tony’s phone number and her statement, “WOW that is almost half my bail” when told by her mother what the reward for finding Caylee was. She has consistently lied, fabricated scenarios and has shown absolutely no interest for her child even when she was alive, unlike her mother’s description of her as mother of the year. We as the potential jury will see through the lies by the defense and offer justice for that despicable family!

Unfortunately, there are very few who are interested in justice. The prosecutors office is only interested in winning the case. The defense is never interested in the truth - they are only interesting in clearing their client. The judge is only interested in seeing that the rules are followed. Even the jury is not required to search for the truth - only to decide whether or not the charges actually brought are accurate. Usually it is those near and dear to the victim who are the most interested in finding out the truth. The very unfortunate situation here is that for Caylee’s relatives, the truth - whatever it may be - seems to be in direct conflict with their own interests. So I’m keeping my hopes up that Yuri does his job well and keeps his sights on Caylee’s interests for her.
