The more I look at the file that was released concerning the dismissal of the bar complaint that Crystal Sheffield and Marie Griffis brought against attorney Kim Picazio the more interesting I find it. I see specks of gold everywhere.
One aspect that comes over loud and clear is Kim Picazio’s views on Marie Griffis. Clearly Kim Picazio and Marie did not see eye to eye. I am no fan of Kim Picazio, and those of you that know me, know that is true. At no point though have I ever doubted her capability in the lawyering business, it is stinky and dirty. Lets face it, I’d rather be the ‘smell man’ for Mike Rowe on the Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs than be a lawyer!
Kim and I have had a couple of ‘set to’s’ I think to say we agree to disagree would sum it up quite well.
Much of the search for Haleigh Cummings has been tainted by what we love to call ‘media whores’. Oh they can be bought by the pound! Some ‘Media Whores’ are in it for the money, some are just looking for fame, some are members of the media themselves, burning the candle at both ends.
However, I will put aside my personal opinions concerning Ms Picazio. While delving into the now public records of the Bar complaint some very interesting observations about Marie Griffis come to light. Picazio says:
Marie had close friends who leaked confidential information about the status of the investigation, and Crystal’s lifestyle, on various “blog forums”. The executed Statement by Karen Devine-Spruill, Moderator of Websleuths Crime Forum, gives specific data and information on Ms. Griffis’ blogging activities, and those of Maries’ close friend, Diana White. These activities severely hampered my role as media spokesperson to Crystal, as the flow of information was not able to be controlled. Release of information needed to be accomplished strategically, and methodically. On several occasions, I admonished Marie, and her friends and family, in writing, to cease blogging and leaking information on the internet.
I could make a comment on the timely release of information, but I am sure you have all read this earlier article.
A fine example of Media Whoring is:
Marie Griffis sought media attention whenever possible. On several occasions, media figures wanted to interview me and Crystal, but Marie Griffis stepped in to intercept the interview for herself. This was done on more than one occasion.
Of course this fell on barren ground, one email that I found says:

Unless they’ve cleared the info with me, we must urge all of your friends and family not to make any  statements to media. I make very calculated statements. I don’t need a source close with the family mucking up the Sheffield camp’s positions on any issue. Please – no statements, no blogs.
How many times has Marie Griffis been on the Nancy Grace show? More importantly, has she ever said anything useful? The answer to that one is a resounding NO. She has offered about as much useful information as Ron “Miss Nancy†Cummings.
There are way too many ‘media whores’ in this sad tale. Ron and Misty had their honeymoon in New York paid by the media. When Marie appears on the Nancy Grace show she is in Jacksonville, picked up by a limo, tab paid by CNN. Although rumor has it that the mini bar in the CNN responser limo’s are not well stocked, it must feel good to be the center of attention.
The Bar complaint has many interesting aspects to it, and even though Kim Picazio and I may not see eye to eye on many subjects, she certainly has done a fine job of shredding her former friends and client.
Oh what a tangled web we weave.
Meanwhile, where is Haleigh Cummings? Ronald Cummings, Misty Croslin, Kim Picazio, Art Harris, and the rest of them, they do not matter, where is the little girl? I don’t give a damn how much Art was paid, thats his problem. I don’t give a damn what Ronald Cummings and his babysitter/wife/ex wife or whatever Misty Croslin calls herself this week do, they have done nothing useful to find the missing child. I don’t care that Marie likes the limo drive to and from Jacksonville. Where the hell is Haleigh Cummings? That is the only thing I care about!
I guess there is some good news, although it really offers scant succor. Some people that have profited from the case, monetarily or fame wise are being hauled onto the carpet. It is about time! I know that some people will try to pin the same on myself and my wife. Well folks, we have not benefited by one cent. If we cover a story, or do not cover a story, it matters not one iota. We cover stories because we want to. Sure, ratings are important, but to be quite honest, we could get better ratings by following other stories. So go figure!

I find it absolutely unbelievable that you would call the Grandmother of a missing child a media whore because she spoke to the press about her missing family member. I don’t care what some attorney says, Marie Griffis or Teresa Neves should be able to appear and plead for the return of HaLeigh. This is a disgraceful article.

You know sometimes when you first see a story break about a missing child your natural instinct clicks in and you say to your spouse or a family friend or a friend that child is probably dead by now. I do not have that feeling with Haleigh. I like a few others are on the side that a family member has her hidden and hidden very well, however I have not come to the conclusion of a motive why until hearing about all the drugs and seeing the whole thing start to unravel. The ONLY IMPORTANT ONE is HALEIGH!!! Thank you Simon for pointing that out. And I do not think a reappearance would be hard to pull off. So each night just pray whoever has her will give her back safely and or LE will find her before she is harmed. And to those who truly care about ONE thing and that is Where is HALEIGH I tip my hat because that IS THE ONLY ONE THING in this worse than Jerry Springer show that matters.!!!!!!!

This epidemic of missing children lately is worse than the Swine Flu!!! Tougher laws need to be put into place for those that harm and put children in harms way. IMHO those who neglect kids or do not care for them properly or put them in situations where they can be abducted, abused or harmed should do time and no just 90 days in jail, should be same penalty’s as murder!!.

Hey! I’ve been wondering where you have been recently. I haven’t notica a posting until just now but I’ve not been online all that much until last night.
I too think that when Haleigh is found alive (let’s be optimistic, I’m gonna try to be) and reaches an age of being able to compreheand all that has occured will most probably have feelings of gratitude as well as some pain for the wrongs done to her by those closest to her. I also hope that while she has these feelings she won’t feel like it’s owed. I realize just might be a turn of a phrase, but I wouldn’t want anyone to call you out about it in a rude or snarky way.

I’ve been traveling like crazy. Now here in CA trying to recoupe. Eventhough my life never sits still. It’s great to b with my family. Through it all I came to realize th key to life is moderation. I always try to exceed wht my plate can handle, my daughter brought me to tht when she said “Stop”, relax, let’s watch a movie.
I get caught up in trying to do as many things, & make as much money as possible so my kids never have to worry. And I forget sometimes wht really is…money is nothing compared to love. I just can’t come to terms with all these kids missing or found dead. WTF is going on. And I was hassled for overprotecting my kids…

I can image your plate is extremely full at this time, professionally as well as personally. I too have a problem of over-extending myself without realizing it or meaning too. So I know how that goes. My fav taking time to smell the roses moments most recently have been taking time out to sit in the floor and actually play with toys with my 2 yr old Grand daughter. It’s important to me to really connect with her, on her level both figuratively and literally. We have the best times and she really seems to appreiciate and respond to the totally undivided attention. Man is it sweet! LOL Sometimes it means not completeing some tasks I had assigned myself or less socializing with others but to me the investment is completely worth it.
Sorry to be OT. I so hope this case has a happy ending for Haleigh. Any new points of view or findings will hopefully be helpfull.

Please persevere. There is what we sometimes refer to as a “curse” towards those who try to help this child. I have seen it happen several different times already. Those who get close to the truth or make it known that is thier intent are savagely attacked, accused of wrong doings, villified, and more.
For whatever reason there are those who want this secret to stay that way and there are a number of people who fall into that category.
I and others here have faith in you and your team. Remember, if corruption is what we expect to find, there are those who will do anything to cover that up, regardless of what happens to Haleigh.
I haven’t seen any accusations toward you on this thread, or did I miss it? Has it happened in other threads as well?

gmom…I agree, we need to be optimistic. I believe that optimism and hope go hand in hand.I just can’t understand why this precious little one can’t be found…either way. Why haven’t any of the key figures in this case slipped up or atleast overheard anyone else slip up? One thing is clear, someone in the town of satsuma knows where she is and if she is alive. One would think that with all the drug use and back stabbing going on down there that the truth would have come out by now. Everytime I think about Ron’s criminal past…serious felony drug charges being dropped, etc…I can’t help but think that one of two things may certainly be true, 1) he is a big time snitch or 2) he has some serious dirt on LE. If he is a snitch, this may explain why she was taken, and by whom…if he has dirt, this could explain why LE is handling everything and everyone with kid gloves…so to speak,

Methinks you might be on to something. What if the “dirt” is that Rons dealings are being protected by a someone within PCSO. Could answer why charges are dropped instead of being prosecuted. Evidence ,ooops, goes missing leaving nothing to prosecute with OR he rats on someone else to secure his freedom and continue his dealings as usual. I have a family member, cousin, who was a drug abuser, sometimes dealer, and reported to the DEA not with her name, but a number only known to them. This was verified by her sisters. She was allowed to continue dealing so that some small fish were caught in thier net, who would then get scared and rat on a bigger fish…on and on. I have knowledge of 2 different of my family members recieving a phone call from a well positioned LE as to a raid was on it’s way. Clear the house! It does happen. Is this the answer to these questions? I don’t know. I like trusting and beleiving in LE. I appreciate that they have always come when I have called. However, there a a few that I would be scared of. I’ve hear several family members talk about things “being dry” since “the heat was on”. They pack up shop for several days until the coast is clear, then it’s business as usual.
I have to say that I am in agreement with Methinks and Hollys Gmom on this one. I have to think that PCSO is protecting someone.
Granted this is only my opinion but it is the only thing that makes sense in this case.
I guess my opinion of the “Ron is a snitch” and Haleigh was taken because of that is that it’s just too dramatic. I know it’s happened a few times in this country – mostly in South America. But even those bozos know that here they’ll be hounded to the ends of the earth for taking a child. And it’s a pain in the butt to take a child. They’d have to keep her alive to keep Ron’s mouth shut. There’s always witness protection for him and Jr if it comes to that.
As far as Ron getting off on drug charges, I haven’t heard of anyone being convicted of anything much in Satsuma. I’m not sure how serious LE is there about drugs. (More interested in keeping search parties out of the woods in case they stumble on “criminal activities” which otherwise LE doesn’t bother looking for either. That’s from an interview long ago when LE called off the original search).
Even that SO Snodgrass – it’s been two years since the horrible crime he was accused of. Does HE have “something on someone” in power there?
Something certainly could be screwy/fishy with local LE. I would not faint if that was proven. But I do not see how that would tie in with taking Haleigh. The incompetence would fit with their inability to find her, though.
And the law says: Right. And if we really keep open minds the people/person they could be protecting could be on Crystal’s side of the family. Who knows?
OR it could be a secret SO high up in the community or government! Local LE may not know why or be protecting someone knowingly but their investigation could be “guided” by someone like that.

From L. E. to the smallest of ants that crawl Baker, St Johns, Duval, and Putnam counties they will all be put under a microscope.
We have had many posters helping with emails to us. In addition, yes we check every tip we get from them out thoroughly. Some of you have a lot of information that is overwhelming helpful and I don’t know why L.E. didn’t act on this.
We also have what L.E. does not have; we have open minds, hearts, eyes, and very deep pockets. Money is not an issue with us.
Finding Haleigh is priceless.

One Statement from Kim P, that has always bothered me.. It Was March 12th, she had driven up to Satsuma to meet for the first time with Crystal. She was hired over the phone to work with the Media, for Crystal. Well, this was Ron’s Wedding Day, and from what I have heard, Whee.. Crystal was upset and this day there were tears, the real ones.. And lots of them. Well by the time Kim arrived, she changed from Attorney to work with the Media, to Attorney to represent Crystal in Child custody issues, due to this overwhelming report Kim had received from locals about Ron abusing the children.
Anyway, Kim P is on the Nancy Grace show, and she is doing the primary talking. She talked about Haleigh in the Past Tense, and about Haleighs Medical Condition, but in the Past Tense. Finally, Nancy Grace ask her!! Why do you refer to Haleigh and her Medical Condition in the Past Tense? The Response, was a WOW!!!
Kim P stated: “Well she doesn’t Have them anymore.”
Now talk about leaving things up for the imagination…
Did she mean, Haleigh was no longer alive? How and Why would she believe that? or Did she mean that Haleigh was cured? Simple by not living with her Dad any longer? See, there are no simple answers…. And no justification for the Statement!! The day I had gone back and watched all the interviews, including this one.. I think that was the day, I fell off the band wagon… of Poor Bio Mom!!!!

Ron has been cleared as a suspect in the Child abduction.
Ron was cleared two times on the same charges of Child abuse, 1. from December, and 1. in July. from the Crystal and Kim P Complaint.
Ron was cleared of the last allegations of the gun and Junior present. Junior was never in that room, he was playing elsewhere. And bottom line, its his word against Tim Millers, no proof. the info on the whereabouts of the guns in the house did not ring out right either. The locked Gun Cabinet.. The guns in a box on the top shelf of the closet.. and by the way, Ron had no idea that DCF was coming, so he couldn’t prepare..
The drug charges you make comments about with Ron. For your info.. he wasn’t alone in that vehicle. and the female in that vehicle was not mentioned in the charges, that had to be dropped, because they couldn’t prove those drugs were in that purse, belonged to Ron or the Female who was with him. Want to guess who she was? Go back and ask her!!!
And as far as Ron being a snitch.. way off base.
Never was, and is not to this date.. Common sense would tell anyone that if he had been a snitch and the word having been put out on the streets for months, he would have met with foul play, along time ago.. Because snitches don’t last long in the drug world. Drug World 101.
Now, if PCSO is doing their job or not doing their Job.. we will not know until there is a conclusion on this case, and if there is any corruption, that too will come out.. Now, if you want to talk about people getting off on charges, complain to the County Judges, they have the right to slap these people down hard, if they wanted. There is one high ranking Judge for Putnam county that could order investigations in the Haleigh Gone Missing, and or against PCSO.. If this Judge does not take action.. then yell at the Judge.
The people to blame in this case, are the people who took Haleigh from her home, and the people responsible for keeping or hiding Haleigh. Those are the people that need to be arrested and thrown under the County Jail. Now if the LE is as you say, and at the end of this story and the truth known, and Haleigh finally returned home, and the people responsible in court.. If they are not made to stand and give long long sentences.. Then complain to the Judge.
m2c- If you think LE is in bed with sex offenders and drug pushers you really are a whack job, Your comment about D. S. and LE is a slap in the face to hard working officers. Shame on you!!
I don’t think it’s a far fetch idea that there is that type of corruption in LE. It happens all over. And I’m NOT saying that is the case in Putnam.

I do want to comment on your 7:39 post this morning. It seems to me to be really bent against Misty with a number of things quoted that to me sounded like you think they are a fact. Going on about Haleigh peeing in the blanket and how it should have been handled and insinuating Haleigh was scared to tell. I have never heard anything like that, where does that info come from? I know at one time I read that Jr is who had peed on the blanket during a nap. I am not telling that as true because I don’t even know when or where I read or heard that. I just don’t think there has been any evidence that Haleigh is even who wet it much less being afraid to tell.
Also, the part about Misty slapping Jr. That is certainly questionable. You said you would believe the bus driver over….When did the bus driver tell that?? Maybe I missed it. What I remember being said was that a couple of people saw Misty slap Jr while waiting for the bus to arrive. These witnesses said that happened the same day Haleigh would come up missing that following morning. So I didn’t understand the bus driver was there please correct me if I am wrong. The same time there were a number of other witnesses that said Misty was not there that day, that Ronald was who picked Haleigh up that last day. So to me it is about a 50/50 gamble that it is BS.
It is also surprising that you put any stock in anything Tommy says. To me we can’t believe anything any of the key players say. I am not saying Misty is innocent here because I don’t think any of them are. I am positively not trying to jump you it just doesn’t seem like you to be biased based on rumor. Just wondering? I just cant shake the thought that Tommy is the one and Misty has been protecting him. We know he steals guns, who is to say he didnt steal the first gun that belonged to Ron. He is reported to do drugs and endanger his own kids by driving them to the bus while on drugs,
steals his dads prescribed meds.,gets into fights with Misty and Ronald, says he was at the mh at 10 and Misty wasnt there{but he was}, he was there earier in the day he could have unlocked the back door. I think he went in to steal the guns and Haliegh woke up. just my theory….
It also seem as though he is totally out of control. If you look at the 3 year putnam county jail logs he had no run ins with LE before Haliegh went missing. Since shes been gone he has been arrested 3 times? awful fishy to me…. jmo

I did NOT say that “LE is in bed with sex offenders and drug pushers.” Can’t you READ? And obviously it’s not a slap to good hard working officers who KNOW perfectly well that cops are human, and that there can be bad apples among them.
But more likely – and what I was saying – is that there can be people high up in the community or government who can try to influence or guide investigations.
As far as protecting or favoring certain individuals it is not unheard of [ especially in small communities. This should not be news to good cops either. It’s probably something they face often (and the good ones resist).
If you followed the conversations we’ve had here, you would know that we’ve talked about how some LE efforts have uncovered lots of SOs and child porn collectors in all walks of life – which is what put me in mind of an influential person in that area or at the state level who could be corrupt (and trying to interfere in the investigation). For example, could someone high up at the state level or even in a private corporation have encouraged KP to interfere in the investigation the way she did – guide it away from Crystal’s side and toward Ron?
I am not accusing PCSO of any of that but pointing out that things like this have and do happen all over the country. If we do not recognize that, if LE doesn’t recognize that then it lets the bad guys have free rein. And THAT’s what I would call a slap in the face to
good cops.
As I have said a half-dozen times before, it is LE’s right to keep the evidence and info close to their vests. It may help a lot. That’s great. But they must understand that that puts us in the position of having to have “blind faith” in them and that is not particularly good. “Blind faith” is what lets bad cops do things that ruin the reputations of ALL cops. I’m sure PCSO must realize that their choice of strategy leaves room for us to doubt – not accuse or blame but just doubt until we can see the proof that they may have. Nothing is wrong with that.

As to Ron being cleared. The last that I heard come from his attorney on a Nancy Grace program and it was that he was very low on a short list of suspects. That isn’t completely cleared.
As to the rest of this mess, and yes it is a mess, it saddens me to no end.
Good cop I am sorry but there is a long history in Florida of LE being corrupt and of drugs being a part of that corruption. That isn’t a insult or a slap. It is the truth.
As to KP and what she has said, it is highly unprofessional and highly unethical in my personal opinion. I wouldn’t hire her for anything at this point because I consider her word to be nothing. I can’t trust her, I want nothing to do with her.
As I said, this whole case just sickens and saddens me.

Who did it? When? Why wasn’t it handled before 9:00 PM. Those kinds of thought. Sorry. I sometimes get on a roll with some thoughts and forget to be clear that that is all it is, my random thoughts on the matter. I did not mean to imply that it was based solely on fact, just that I had all these questions about it. Also if Haleigh’s bed had been “wet” was Misty told about it early in the day and just forgot until later that night? It could happen, probably even to me. Was trying to work it all out my head and hoping others would offer thier take on the matter. The only other reason I could think of would be that Haleigh didn’t bring it to her attention and why she MAY not have. Again I didn’t mean to imply that I knew Haleigh was afraid, just that it MIGHT have been a factor.
I guess comming from my background the easiest senario is based upon fear. I really did and do want others feed back on the possibilities as to why blanket was still unwashed at bedtime. If Jr wet it during the daytime nap, why is it I have never heard it before. Not that I feel all knowing, just that it’s news to me. But plausable.
I knew the bus driver should have been removed from my post, but it does seem to me that more than one person gave that account. I’m sorry but I do mistrust Ron. I’m still trying to put my finger on it. True it is a 50/50 chance of being true. She might have been there and slapped him that day or Ron might have been the one to pick her up. I really do want to know who’s account is accurate. That’s why I want the “witnesses” to be interviewed by an unbiased party, so that we know the truth of that situation. I mentioned it becasue IF it were true, it COULD go a long way towards explaining what might have happen to Haleigh.
Why wouldn’t I take his account into consideration? LE have not refuted his claim, as a matter of fact they seemed to confirm it without actually stating it with thier “step forward” press release. Another situation where I was trying to work it out. If the blanket was removed from the window as Misty has stated, wouldn’t it make sense that Tommy would have been able to at least partially see her through that uncovered window. Like I said IF he was even there, or had really knocked or tried to wake her up. The reason this case isn’t already solved is that there are too many variables in play.

Was she drugged or so sound asleep she never heard him? (although I can’t imagine Haleigh and Jr also sleeping through his bangings.) There just doesn’t seem to be any concrete info, one way or another. I am so frusterated by it all! Arrgg. I know I am not alone in those feelings.I admit, my biases have very little to do with ANY player in this case. They are more oftyen about my own experiences and perceptions of events. I cant understand Lyndsey having all these people around her kids. Misty with her problems, her husband and his drug problems, Mother in law with her problems stealing and using checks, and a father in law that is more than likely on drugs and in a wheel chair. I would pitch them out or leave with the kids.

I have to agree. I would want no part of that wild clan. However, does Lyndsey have any way to support herself and the children? She may not be legally able to pitch them out. It depends upon whos name is on the lease/mortgage/deed. Even if she owns the home, because they have been living there she would have to legally evict them through the court. To move herslef and the kids out, she would have to have somewhere else to go and/or money to rent a place.
Misty did not have a license at the time of Haleigh’s disappearance. She later got one. There may even be a video showing her smiling and showing it off. I could be wrong.
I believe that was her marriage licence you are refering to. I have not heard of a valid drivers licence. Can anyone check on this?

You misunderstood my posts – and my thinking on this case – so badly there is no point in listing line by line every single thing you have misunderstood about me.
Like – I never said Ron was a snitch – in fact I doubted it. And I have said in the past that I think it’s a horrible thing for people to accuse him of – could get him killed! I’ve also said I doubted he was responsible for Haleigh’s disappearance. So you’ve just attacked someone who was pretty much agreeing with you! LOL! Although I will not commit to any one theory yet.I don’t favor or have it in for anyone in this case.
I was responding to someone else’s post about Ron’s drug charges. My response was to say that I had not heard about very many drug convictions at all! Not a refleciton on Ron but of what I’ve heard about the “criminal justice system” there.
Have you mistaken me for a Ron-hater? In which case you have not read many of my posts or you are confusing me with someone else. I discuss all possibilities but do not subscribe to a particular one.

I do not know a thing about her. But I thought she was educated, had a job at one time and owned that MH. I could be wrong. Maybe she’s as “bad” in a way as the Croslins. But if she’s not she’s in a terrible predicament right now.
Maybe we should pray that all of them (except her) get put in jail. Then she wouldn’t have to kick them out. Or maybe DCF could say, “They have to leave or you lose the kids.” Surely the Croslins couldn’t blame Lindsey for that!
After watching spydees video, I noticed one thing: Marty says that police say there were ” old” pry marks, possibly from the prior residents, but no new ” fresh” scratches.. How would police know the old scratches on a door… was it pictured or graphed ina file from a previous breakin.. I doubt it! The whole no forced entry just got squashed and the possibilkty of a SO or breakin by Tommy or Joe to steal the beretta is wide open now!

Yes, Hollysgmom is correct she got a drivers license after Haleigh was missing because so many were complaining that she had been driving with out one. Then when she was mugged and her purse stolen it said her license was in her purse. Just FYI. Teresa

The only way to know if the” jimmy” marks were old or new would be to test the mineral deposits left in the scratch from weathering and I’m sure LE did not go that far with it. Like carbon dating type crap, know what I mean!
So in other words . they cant say for sure if the scratches were old or from a breakin yesterday. The just can’t say no forced entry with those marks unless that testing was done to determine mineral deposit levels in the depth of the scratches, which I doubt they did.
That is probably why Ronald changed the deadbolt. It was in the interviews that he stated that he personaly changed the locks after he moved in.Also doors get scratched up all the time when you take the vacume or trash cans out of them. I still think someone unlocked that door after he left for work and there were only a few people there(that we know of)after he left.And the gun being found by Misty in the ditch was Ronalds and she states that Tommy, Timmy and Joe were there that night. And of course she says it was Joe, why say it was one of her brothers?
I think new “jimmying marks” with have rough and flaky edges that can sometimes be seen with the naked eye and sometimes requires a magnifying glass. Old “jimmying marks” are smooth and slick. I think most LE can just tell by looking.
Maybe Lawshrink can answer this too.

Follow me in my theory for a moment. Tommy asks Misty to babysit that night and she gets in a fight with Ron ( this has been said before) on the phone. The reason he wants her over at his house to babysit is so later he can sneak over to Rons MH and steal the guns.
Misty gets mad shuts off phone(or leaves) and Ron calls Tommy to ask where misty is, that has Tommy thinking maybe she left and I can now go steal the guns. Only she is really sleeping (Or left the kids there alone)
Let me clarify, I’m not talking long scratches across the door, i’m talking about small pry marks on the bolt itself with a screwdriver. I’ve had numerous breakins and I cant tell which ones were new and which were the old except that the newly exposed metal is shinier for about one day

I think one of the problems with this case, is people look at it an try to complicate what they are told and they read, and it is a very very simple case.
Its a domestically involved Abduction
very simple – when you have a family domestic issue, you have families disgreeing, and fighting.. general husband and wife, mommy and daddy.
When you have domestic issues, it always involves siblings, and parents. both sides are going to have their own sides, defend their own child or sibling, and battle across the family lines.
This is what you have. This one just happened to have a third family come into play.
So, now you have a Triangle.. Crystal – Ron – Misty. And in the midst, you have two small children.
Now, you have three sets of parents, and each member has siblings and the three adults in the triangle.
Crystal’s parents and siblings do not want her with Ron.
Ron’s parents think that Ron and Misty are happy
Misty’s parents – no one knows what they thought, and her siblings???
Now if misty gets mad because she thinks ron and crystal are spending too much time talking or texting.. She gets mad, they fight, she leaves.
What if Crystal and Ron talked about going back together and then he decides they aren’t going to be an item,
but her parents already hate ron, and may have found out what was going on, are they going to be pleased? How are her siblings going to react thinking she was hurt or jilted by Ron.
Now Misty has two brothers, how do you think they are going to react to Misty leaving and being jilted for Crystal?
So, think for a moment, you have two sets of parents both really mad at Ronald.. You have two sets of protective Siblings..
So, what is your motives here, Anger, Jealous, Revenge.. plus the top on the cake, crystal is facing going to jail.
So, now you have two families against Ron and his family. And two really upset, mad girls, the baby momma and the ex girlfriend. Does this make anyone worry about Ron at that point. He has alot of people ticked off at him..

Has anyone followed the Shaniya Davis case? Drugs will cause you to do desperate things and dispicable things. Now who has been busted lately for drugs, in a parked van after dropping off his 5 yr old son. He could not even drive a block home.

I know children can sometimes sleep through anything when I was a child a slept through a Cat3 hurricane and tornadoes and alarms so anything is possible that maybe the kids were just very very asleep and did not hear Tommy knocking???
mel22, I didn’t realize the dead bolt was new. So if the dead bolt was new any scratches would look new so how could anyone say they are old? They couldn’t have been old if the bolt was new.
So if there are marks it could have been a forced entry. Unless they were not talking about marks on the lock but old marks on the door which could have been caused when Ron changed the lock.
What if, she was asleep.. the entire time. But this isn’t just the point.. What if she was encouraged by tommy to go back to ron, what if it would be the only way anyone would have access to the house and kids. Because if she didn’t go back, the children would have been with one of the Grandmothers, and safe and unreachable or untouchable…..
So, misty would have to work things out with ron, not because she really wanted to, after all she must have still been angry over crystal.. And we know that somehow Misty had lost two keys, one grandma sykes found at her house, and the other suddenly appeared in a strange place after the PCSO released the house and car… just a single key.
humm that is a thought Tobias self destruction can occur from guilt, but it may not be guilt that He did anything to Haleigh but perhaps knows more than he says and is fearful of someone to sing like a bird or in fear for his family.
Ok apparently the Bolt was open or the door could not be open so it was either “jimmy’d” open or left open. So if Rons says it was locked then only two things here can happen -A.)the lock got ” jimmy’d ” open or B.) an insider left it open after Ron went to work ( A/C guy, family member, etc, and I suppose a third would be he simply thought he locked but didnt from absent mindeness.
treece, with the way that dead bolt was setup, it would probably come very close to breaking the key off to try to open it.. The deadbolt was tight and it was difficult to turn the knob from the inside, therefore trying to do this with a key.. It would scratch up the area, and then if you checked the key it would have a little twist in it that would eventually break off. So, the back door, would have had to be opened from the inside. Think Front door and Key for Front door..
Ron says as he walks down the hall he looks over and sees the latch is sideways(in the lock potition) everyday when he leaves . It is on video I just dont know which video.

mlee OK, unless the front door had a dead bolt it would have been easier to get in. I also think that earlier in the day. SOmeone could have unlocked the back door and propped the screen open and no one would have noticed with the inside door closed.

to mlee, I dont understand why a key would be needed in your synopsis. Couldn.t they have been using a flathead screwdriver. Heck i’ve even had friends use their credit cards when I locked myself out before*( althgough the CC was not on a deadbolt but a regular lock).
If Ron says on NG that he changed locks then what Marty says in Spydees video does not make sense. All scratches or jimmy marks would be fairly new and none would be “old” and consistent with prior renters. How long did Ron live there. I know they eventually did take this door in to forensics.
mel 22, I think melee is talking about lock bumping. there is a site about it. You put a key in the lock and hit it with a hammer and the bumpers inside go up and open the deadbolt.

I think the door thing is a mute point. Cobra and TJ always chuckle when a caller brings up the door thing again. I think Cobra would have looked at it because LE didnt take it right away or the trash if I remember right. I guess someone could call in and ask this Sunday.
If you bump a lock LE would know by looking inside the dead bolt. It would be forced entry.
If LE told marty the marks were consistent with prior renters but yet the deadbolt was new then I can understand why they have not gotten far in this case. LE needs to get their story consistent on this issue bcuz if you can’t determine how they got in then you can’t go much farther. They are still at square one ImO.
LE has stated in pressers that there was no forced entery.
Those guys can chuckle all they want but the video shows marty talking about marks from previous renters which could not be the case if the bolt was changed. If LE would clarify what marks are there that would clarify things. normal wear and tear from a key is differnt from ” Jimmy” marks.

You are right Tobias someone is getting arrested a lot, but that is not really a sign of guilt. Here is a few more thoughts for Ya’ll.
1. Let’s say that this was a random SO that had been studying the habits of Misty/Ron/kids. I do not think a SO would take the time to pick up the clothes off the floor as someone stated before that usually there was a pile of laundry in front of that door and put them in the dryer. They would want to get in and get out as quick as possible with what they came for and most likely would have shut the door or left it propped open to get away quick.
2. In a small community it could have been possible that the Bio Mom’s family got wind of the MISTY GONE WILD WEEKEND and found out she was watching the kids that night. Misty is dead tired after her weekend and takes a pill and falls asleep and is out cold till she wakes up to use restroom. Bio Mom’s family comes in and takes Haleigh and leaves door propped open to get Jr., however when they return for him Misty has woke up? Whoever this person is if this is the case (not accusing here just thoughts)threatened her and made her fearful for her life. This could explain the failed Lie Detector tests about her knowing what happened to Haleigh. Misty is afraid of Ron and concocts the story that she was asleep and did not hear anything. But the question I have is someone said she was fully dressed when Ron got home????? So they left with just Haleigh and figured they would go to another plan to get Jr.???? Insert Attorney KP and Associates! Someone has gotten a lawyer now to throw LE to keep looking at Misty.
3. Same scenario as 2 but Misty was really out and came home and caught them in the act. She threatens to call police and they threaten her and leave with just Haleigh.
Now Ron comes home and she is dressed and knows Haleigh is missing but is calm and not called 911. We do not know what was discussed between Ron and Misty before the 911 call. Now if you go back and listen to the 911 tapes I think it is in the call back from 911 you can hear Ron whisper in the background “Why did you let them take her”? (I believe that is what I heard and I have listened to it a few times and I could be wrong as it was somewhat muffled). If that is the case who is them???? And we do not know what was said between the time of Ron hanging up on 911 and them calling back!!!!
**These are just random thoughts and not accusations of guilt towards anyone, but they could be possible scenario’s**
If Tommy had a beef with Ron or wanted something of Ron’s I do not see what he would want with Haleigh to be honest. But then again every person’s mind works differently.

Before we close the door on the lock/door issue I can explain why TJ chuckles. At first the trailer was taped off as a crime scene and no one was allowed in the MH. After LE released it, part of the family went back in and the media was able to take a tour. TJ went through the trailer, he specifically was interested in the back door that was propped open etc and actually touched the door etc. After that, LE came back and removed the door for testing. That made TJ furious that family and media including himself had all been around that door before it was tested. When TJ chuckles it is to keep from raging about it. It took him quite awhile before he could take it lightly. Simon & Cobra mentioning that door is just them being ornery to TJ.Just FYI, Treece
So sounds to me like they goofed on their original thoughts about the door and went back later bcuz the lock did need to be checked for forced entry , let alone the figerprints that are now tainted ( no wonder he’s mad but chuckling and knowing his prints are there now after the fact).
Wonder if TJ had a real good chance to look at the marks on the deadbolt to see if they were more than just normal entry marks or ” jimmy” marks!! Someone should call to the show and ask him ( but don’t upset him ) LOL !
if it was bump locking like mlee was talking then i’m sure that would.nt be visible and maybe thats why LZE decided to ” take a look” and went back for the door. But yet they still don’t change their stance on no forced entry!?@#$%
No I think it is a closed subject, they took the door, did their investigation and I think returned the door. But no I don’t think TJ wants to talk anymore about that door. It is not funny to him and he has been quizzed to death about it.
Perhaps if Misty was really out she locked the front door and went out the back leaving it open so she could get back in so she did not have to carry keys and get caught sneaking back in after being out without the kids! and she cleaned up the floor to make it easier to get in and out of!

Plausible Mandy. I can easily see that ! She may have even taken that trail out back from the MH and scooted up the road and came back the same way!
Yesterday I mentioned that a party could’ve happened for Monday night football, but after thinking about that I realized the Superbowl had already been played on Feb 1 st (in Tampa mind you), then I went to maybe it was a Probowl party ,but that happened on the weekend on the 8th. But anyway, anybody have any ideas on if there was some soret of big basketball game or something that would bring people together on a Monday night get together! Parties usually revolve around a theme , holiday or event like sports or a big Fight or MMA event. Can anyone think of anything that happened that evening that would,ve brought a party of people together!?
The only place Misty would have walked to would be a waiting friend in a car or the only person she knows well who lives on Tyler street, her brothers MH. And why would the friend in the car not pull up close to the MH for Misty, I dont see her walking real far to meet someone when the kids are already asleep and Rons at work. How would she explain leaving to Ron later if the kids woke up and later told their Dad she was gone?
Maybe an out of town creep leftover from the Superbowl event in Tampa on the 1st hung around the area for awhile to get away from the winter!

tobias , I though WBG mother lived down the street within walking distance by that canal bridge. Maybe they got in WBG car and took off to Chad E.’s party house (where hes known to stay sometimes) to go party for whatever reason the party was for.
I went back to the original briefing from LE on CNN the one where they brought up Chad Reynolds and they did not rule him out they only say he is not a suspect as of right now since he can not be located but they would love to talk to him. Did they ever really totally rule him out?

The picture of WBG in the art harris inreview in front of that MH is consistent with Stokes landing Rd. MH , where the raid happened last month. WBG was not there at the time but the owner Chad E. was booked. This Chad E. is the one Pytko “claims” owns the party house where the “Accidental” OD happened. Are we on the same page here or no?
You do know Misty is back and got the restraining order dropped? Then Tommy got put in jail today for battery? Who he had a fight with I do not know but they have got to be getting sick of seeing him .

Chad E.’s MH is the same MH you see WBG sitting in front of in art harris’ April video interview. Then about a month aqgo it gets raided. I dont think its coincidence. Anyway nice talking to you Tobias, i’ll check back in tomorrow!
tobias – given the right opportunity someone could have gone in the back door and taken Haleigh while Misty was out front talking to someone in a car. It can happen in a matter of minutes really!
And if Haleigh was awake and it was someone she knew she could have opened the door for him.
These are wild speculations but still (IMO) within the realm of possibilities.
