Wow, all the new articles. What’s eatin away at ole Tommy Jr., eh? Somethings going on, I know drugs, but come on, he’s behavior is way over the top these days. Makes me think this way.

With his aggressive violent, don’t give a crap about children, his own children are scared of him, driving the son to school messed up, he obviously doesn’t respect the lives of children. With that said, why would he respect Haleigh Marie Cummings anymore than he would his own blood and name sakes? He wouldn’t. He’s beating up one family member after another. Already has priors of violence reported by Linsay in the marriage.

He’s spiraling down faster, does everyone this it’s just a coincidence? Misty and her family come into Ron, Haleigh and Jr’s lives, within five months a very horrendous crime has been committed with the disappearnace/abduction of Haleigh? I would even go so far to say, if someone removes my child from my home, I will feel a violent attack on me personally, along with my child and family.

Keep Tommy in jail, he doesn’t need to be around his family, and obviously his wife Lindsay is not standing up to th behavior, so she needs someone in authority to help her get the home back in shape, keep the children in a peaceful environment, and that’s what the authorities are for, to intervene in criminal activities perpetrated on the innocent. Their trained and able, not normal innocent citizens. Hope something is being done to support and assist.

2) A release or lesser sentence that was given due to such a statement is CONDITIONAL. It has to “bear fruit” otherwise the agreement is null and void. PCSO could then rearrest him immediately on the charge of SUBMITTING A FALSE STATEMENT to law enforcement personnel.

Now I’m not saying I think his whole account to be 100% true, but there must be some truth in it. For him NOT to be charge with false statement there would had to have either been evidence found during that search OR some thruth(s) contained therein.

The letter may have been written on that date or someone later wrote that date on the paper as to when it was recieved. There were many who questioned the date as it seemed to be added after the initial writing of the letter.
Also, none of us know WHEN Joe Pytko made his written account. If you’ll check this link you will see that Joe Pytko was booked on 06/18/2009 at 7:35 PM. That is 3 FULL months to the day BEFORE Nay Nay’s dated letter. That would be PLENTY of time to organize the pond search. They probably needed nearly that much time to obtain the search warrents, decide on how to best drain said pond, gather necessary equiptment to do so, ect.

I love my Birthday posts, sniffle. I’m staying strong, especially now. I’ve been thinking, you would have to know my FIL personality, our relationship. I can see it going either way. Either they know she was at home (but why imply that she wasn’t or ask someone to come forward to place her outside residence? To prove that she was because no one came forward? Doesn’t gell to well IMO) or they do believe she was absent but are not really investigating the lead due to various interests involved.

I still have to go back to LE gave Misty several LDT. The question of her leaving the home had to be asked. If Misty was deceptive in answering that question I think LE would have really nailed her on that early on, and would have been much more diligent in trying to find out where she was. Instead they said it was being investigated, and they had not had anybody give them a statement that puts Misty out of the home. I really do not think LE has pursued that avenue because they already know the answer to the question if she was home or not.

Just my thoughts though in trying to figure things out.

Wouldn’t it be LE policy to offer said waitress immunity from prosecution in return for her statement. Think Xanax inquiry and statement given to Yuri by Casey’s friend (I haven’t been to bed yet, so her name is escaping me). She admitted to giving another person her prescription medication but was not held accountable. Even in a case with a person on probation admitting to buying drugs at a certain location. Well, at least they would offer it if they wanted Haleigh found.

LE did follow up on Joe’s story but remember he puts Nay Nay and Greg at the party and participating in it as well. Nay Nay has an alibi and both Nay Nay and Greg took LDT early on. So I think LE has dismissed what Joe has said.

Ron’s gun was stolen from the MH prior to HaLeigh being taken. It was believed that cousin Joe was the one that took it. However, the gun was found at Tommy’s in the culvert. Now given what we have since learned about Tommy stealing guns it is very possible, IMO, that it may have been Tommy that took the gun and not cousin Joe as originally believed

Paws, there will probably be some more sleuthers come and start participating. There’s more details available on line, I don’t want to take away from Haleigh’s discussion here. Websleuthers, are great sleuthers and will add to any forum or blog. The forum is full of great information and wonderful people. A few have overstepped into an area in Haleigh’s case involving themselves in ways inappropriate, using the forum and members, misleading and attacking posts with an agenda to rule and reign the thoughts and information being put out there, they have been busted. Not to mention, Kim, Crystal, and Marie are behind the “Make Ron Look bad, and influence and monitor what others say and post”. So this is directly about Haleigh’s case. Some have made it about themselves instead of keeping it real for Haleigh Girl. There have been posters, and others onto this agenda since day one. Others like myself, were mistreated terribly. All bad deeds will be brought to the light. Personally, I think some have hindered the direct investigation into Haleigh’s disappearance, causing problems for LE, and LE not doing the job they should have. Then you have the un-professional deeds of those reporting the case, not checking sources and concentrating on drama, rumor and gossip. That’s all alot of people cared about. It’s a “Hot mess”, but will get straightened out by good people like you trudging through everyday keeping Haleigh the focus. Stay believing in the good for results concerning Haleigh.

As far as LE, I believe they derived a theory minutes into arriving at the home that night, and won’t budge, tried to make their theory stick and fit, but the shoe won’t slide on. Misty has been the entire focus, a young tender girl, who has been ravaged mercilessly.

Most of us want new eyes on the case, a new beginning, and private investigators to delve into this case, seems we’re getting our wishes.

I agree with you as to the questions about the timeline and just when certain “events” occured. Bedtime for children, bedtime for Misty (if there was one), exact time Misty awake, and when she realized Haleigh was missing.

This is for all of us, ask yourself this:
If Misty is innocent of wrong-doing why is there any discrepency on the timeline? Why would she report events occuring at a different time then they actually did? What is the statistical probability that Misty awoke meer minutes before Ron arrived home? We’re talking, what, less than a 10 minute timeframe? There was no alarm. If she had been in the habit of taking care of the children, Jr while Haleigh was at school, her internal timeclock alarm would not have been geared to 3:00 (something) am.
I almost can buy that she had to urinate causing her to awaken at that time. Other than that, I can see no reason she would have spontaniously awoken then. Can any of you? I really want to figure this out. It almost seems that if we could just nail down those specific answers this case would unravel and be solved. I know some don’t like to hear it, but Misty IS the key to this investigation.
Question: If Haleigh’s blanket “smelled like pee” why wouldn’t Misty have noticed it before bedtime? If Haleigh had an urinary accident, was she in the habit of hiding it or keeping quiet about it? If so why? Did she fear reprocussions from R &/or M? To me a happy, well treated child would tell M while dressing for school without fear. “I’m sorry, I wet the bed” to be answered with “Oh, honey, did you have a bad dream?” or “Do you feel ok, everything ok?” to be further followed by “Don’t worry Haleigh, I’ll take care of it while your at school today.” I still wonder how true the information about the bus stop slapping is. To me, it sounds very true considering Haleigh was afraid to tell M & R that she had soiled her bedding. If you’ll slap a 4 yr old in the face , FOR ANY REASON, you are a danger to children. I know, those claims are unsubstantiated at this time, but I believe the neighbors and bus driver over Ronald Cummings ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. These people need to be re-interviewed by an unbiased group, organization, or party.
I also want Misty to just tell us why her blanket was in the van and not on thier bed.
Another question, if Tommy came over and couldn’t get an answer at the door it would be logical for him to have tried knocking on the bedroom window to wake her. Even if he didn’t knock on the window, wouldn’t he have noticed that the bedroom windows that had previously that same day been covered are now uncovered? We need to know where street lights are in relation to these windows. We already know that there was a full moon that night. Seems like there should have been enough light to see through an uncovered window. Whether one was inside looking out or vice-versa. There are still so many unknowns!!!

Later in the investigation after KP announced she had given LE names of people who could confirm Misty was not home that night, LE told media they had heard KP had said that but they had not received any names and NOT ONE PERSON has come forward that puts Misty out of the home.

So my thought is after 10 months nobody has put Misty out of the house even though many of the players have been arrested and could have used that info as leverage in their own case, and even with a 30,000 dollar reward, and many of the players could use the money.

I believe she was home, and sound asleep.

As far as what Crystal said that Jr said, it is just that, Crystal said Jr said that. LE knows what Jr said when he was first questioned by experts in the field.

My thoughts on the time-line that LE seems to not be able to nail down is the time that Misty and the children actually went to sleep and the time Misty actually woke up.

I think it is very possible that Misty did fall asleep before the children and she may have woken up earlier then the 3 something she stated.

I have stated this many, many times in my post but it seems posters keep questioning it. Good people tiring to do the right thing for a little girl and people keep questioning it.

After multiple interviews over the past six months with Haleigh’s family, including Croslin-Cummings, the Sheriff’s Office bluntly stated officers’ beliefs about the case for the first time since Haleigh disappeared.

“Investigators believe that Croslin-Cummings continues to hold important answers in the case. She has failed to provide any sort of detailed accounting of the hours during the late evening and early morning of Haleigh’s disappearance. Furthermore, physical evidence at the scene contradicts Misty’s sketchy account of her evening activities,” the Sheriff’s Office reported in a statement.

“Any citizen with direct knowledge of Misty’s activities during that evening or into the early morning is encouraged to report that information to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office,” the news release stated.

Contrary to initial comments from officers that Haleigh possibly was abducted, the Sheriff’s Office reported that evidence gathered so far doesn’t support that theory.

“At this point, the evidence and investigatory effort has minimized the likelihood that Haleigh’s disappearance is the work of a stranger,” the statement reported.

And the agency said that Haleigh’s biological parents, Cummings and Crystal Sheffield, are not considered suspects.”

Greenwood would not elaborate on what parts of Croslin-Cummings’ statements officers are concerned about except that some interviews she gave to news media early in the investigation included inconsistent statements such as details on where Haleigh was placed to sleep that night.

and not much else. Out of the info listed which would be the most likely to be pertinent to this case? to me, the most important would be 7-10. Why would these times not add up enough for LE to believe she had been elsewhere if she really had been at MH? What’s you take on this?

So they don’t know if she was at home alone with the kids, at home with company, out with the kids, or out without the kids. They just don’t know.

LE, themselves have stated in the media that they believe that Misty WAS NOT AT HOME THAT NIGHT, anyone with info please step forward. How much clearer do they have to be? Will you only accept it if it’s on video tape at some conveinience store? or would a witnesses statement be enough proof? I’m just asking, not trying to be rude.
I do NOT believe that LE would release that statement if they thought for one minute that Misty was really at home. I also believe they have partial information but are only needing further ocnfirmation. Ie if some came to them and said “Hey Misty WAS at a party that night”
I’d imagine thier first question would be where? and then Any way to prove it? such as store video, other witnesses named, any other proof possible.

If a perp took Haleigh from her sleep, she may have taken off her shirt and it may have still been hanging on by an arm and fell as she was being carried out…

Another possibility is that Haleigh may have been wearing the pink shirt that day, and close to bedtime she may have taken off in the kitchen and left it in the dirty clothes pile and only had her underwear on and then went to bed like that.. Misty cud have easily overlooked something like that..or not taken notice…

The other thing is that great grama brought over “clean clothes” cud she have brought a faverite top where Misty didnt even realize she changed? That wud not be unusual for a 5 yr old girl to do.. It is plausible to confuse what your child was wearing to bed too…especially if you didnt change them into pajamas right when they were going to bed, like after a bath…

Rumors often turn into a fact, but just like factual posts, they shouldn’t be used to get back or be right, or be the only one with the inside track.

I’m not ignoring anyone’s requests about information about ws, I just don’t know how I can be of help other than state my opinions. I have been a member since 2001 before the last big “crash” losing all information. It’s been a place that brought pleasure and sorrow, knowledge and friendships. Waiting to see how this pans out, and sincerely hoping those that have done wrong, will do right and make amends.

Now the pink shirt, I have tried to explain that away to myelf.

1. Haleigh peed or somehow got her shirt wet and changed it herself without Misty knowing (hiding it in the laundry pile… for fear of getting into trouble)

2. The intruder took it off her (why)

3. Misty really didn’t know what HaLeigh was wearing.

I understand the the whole rumor/fact issue. I personally am one of those people that don’t mind ‘discussing” a rumor as long as it’s stated to be just that.

If you think about it, a lot of what IS talked about IS based from rumor mode. We don’t know these “sources” that are giving info to reporters. Just cause some “info” is “free floating” does NOT mean it aint true.
