We will be exploring the past seven days in both the Haleigh Cummings and Caylee Anthony cases.
As always, the exact make up of the panel is subject to change, but as best I can tell it will be Simon and Jan Barrett, TJ Hart, and William Cobra Staubs. Denny Griffin cannot be with us this week, he is on a cruise (lucky devil).
It has been a curious week in the search for Haleigh Cummings, there has not been a great deal coming out of Law Enforcement, but that is to be expected. We in the press have learned that the PCSO are very much a one way street. When they speak, we listen, but there is little wriggle room to ask questions.
Once again another Croslin found himself under what is becoming a very crammed space under the bus. Tommy Croslin got busted in a drug deal. Drugs seem to be a very key component to this family! One of these days I am going to sit down and try and figure out exactly how many of the Croslin’s, Cumming’s, and their friends and associates are currently on bond!
Ruby (who has more surnames than I can count) Kanger/Sargent, and who knows how many other names, is the great grandmother of Haleigh Cummings. She scooted from Putnam county, but still seems to attract trouble like Iron Fillings to a magnet was back in court last Monday. At a whopping 4′ 11” one can hardly view this woman as a physical threat. Yet that is what the accusation says. Her case of ‘Terrorist Threats’ wends its way slowly through the court system. The next event is scheduled for March/9 2010, a pre-trial hearing.
Another subject that I suspect will come up in the program, is the so called Haleigh benefit concert. The profits were supposed to go towards the reward money. There are several of us that are asking questions, and getting very few answers. Why, for example we heard from no one that attended? Yet it was rumored that Tim Miller was there. Did this concert even take place? How come the contact phone number has been disconnected. These are all very troubling questions.
I did receive some news last Monday that I have to say annoyed me greatly. A major advocate for missing children, and chief guy behind the Discovery Channel’s Investigation Discovery web site was given his pink slip. David Lohr is one of the best journalists out there, his coverage on the Caylee Anthony case has been nothing short of outstanding. For Discovery to do this, shocks me. I do hope that another news organization snaps him up quickly.

And she told us that chloroform was found in a syringe in a plastic bottle near Caylee’s remains! Slam dunk conviction? I hope so.

Do any of you think they found Casey’s fingerprints on the syringe and the gatorade bottle? And do you think they tested for DNA on the needle of the syringe? These are things they seem to keep leaving out when a bombshell like this comes out.
If there are fingerprints and DNA on the syringe, Is it considered a slam dunk for the State?
To some defense attorneys, they still feel that the defense can make good arguments about even this bombshell.
Sometimes I wonder if they want a video tape of casey actually doing this to Caylee.
I am in such shock.
m2c, I still had a glimpse hope that maybe it was an accidental death that Casey was scared to death to tell anyone.
After this bombshell, it’s for sure over in my eyes.
I can’t believe a mother would inject her own daughter with Chloroform while she was duct taped. I can almost hear Caylee screaming and crying for her nana. *tears*
PAW69 - I don’t think Caylee could scream since she was duct taped. So even monster didn’t hear that probably. And even if she did she obviously didnt care. I hope she fries.

The dream team will of course have some way to dispute the findings as usual. They are all in a state of denial that is overwhelming. All we can hope for is justice in the courtroom and I wish I could go sit through every second of that trial, just to look at her face when this evidence is brought forward. The grandparents need to wake up quickly too, some of it will be graphic and impossible to deny then. This whole thing has drug out so long and it is time to get it over with, surely there has been enough time for disclosures and evidence swapping by now. Unless they plan to bring in another high dollar lawyer to aid in the defense. Someone has some deep pockets if you ask me.

He loves all that blood money just like the Anthony’s do. It truly very sad. What’s worse is, Casey thinks she’s going to get a hand in all of it when all of this is said and done. But she won’t get anything, not even a thank you from her dream team, nor her family.
I realize times are hard and the economy sucks right now. But all of this taking place from the murder of an innocent child makes me sick. I think all of them need to be in a secured locked up tight psych ward.

Ms.P, Thank You very much. The tragedy at Ft. Hood is very hard to take in. What most if not all of us Army wives and families thought was the safest place to be (on post),has just beenproven now, even our safe place isn’t so safe after all. We all take that for granted.

I know everyone sees it as a sacrifice. but I see it as a priveledge to be able to be a part of trying in some form to make a difference in the world. We are strong willed and our love is pure and nothing, and no one can break that from us. I see my husband everyday and talk to him everyday on video/voice. That in itself is a priveledge thanks to technology. I wish I could share with you what our soldiers go through over there.
I have learned not to take anything for granted. To take 1 day at a time. To be greatful for what I have (family,friends). Material things mean nothing to me.
If I could just have any wish granted, I’d wish for peace,security,freedom to roam. Not having to worry about our children’s safety.

911 Call Misty: “the back door was all/wide open”
LE said the door was ajar 3-4 inches
911 call, Misty: “she was in her pajamas. We were sleeping.”
Actually a dispute over what Haleigh was wearing that night. Reports of a pink shirt and underwear, later the pink shirt is recovered.
LE initially calls this an abduction, no sign of forced entry, but “The evidence that it’s an abduction is there is no reason to believe the child wandered off. She’s a 5 year old child and she’s afraid of the dark.” - Maj. Gary Bowling
Dogs track Haleigh’s scent out the backdoor, down a wooded path toward the water, back up to the house and off toward the bus stop. LE reports finding a child-sized footprint.
HMMMM…. Maybe someone holding Haleigh’s hand, walking, perhaps looking for a ride somewhere?

Alot of people would have boats in that area. From what I understand Chad E’s house was across the river, not far away.(I would like to have some of te local people say for sure on this) That was where a couple of people said they saw Misty with the kids at that party, the night Haleigh came up missing. This wasn’t far from the Mondex pond that was drained.
So if Misty needed a fix, somebody could have picked her and the kids up by boat to take her a little over a mile to the party.
Like I said, I would like some of the local people to comment on this, but this could be why the footprint was found. The dogs also went down to the water, first.
A second possibility could be a predator or kidnapper took her away by boat.

That was a great show. Alot of great facts were covered. I was wondering, if the washing machine was just full of dirty clothes, or if it had water in it and was soaking. Was Haleigh’s blanket in the washer? Does LE have Haleigh’s blanket?
The phone ringing at that time in the morning during the 9-1-1 call is very interesting.
Misty said on the call that the door was standing wide-open and LE said 4 or 5 inches. I wonder why that discrepancy, unless the door was held open by dirty clothes until Ron stuffed them in the washer or dryer. Then the door closed to about 4 or 5 inches.

polly, i think that is a possibility. well at least one of many.
misty distracted. if deliberately - someone may have got her to come out the front to sit in a car, stand in front yard or even be in the enclosed front porch. they could have been talking, arguing, having a cigarette, doing drugs, flirting or whatever.
second person enters through a window or side door left unlocked and taken haleigh out the back by the river in case she got loud. when misty goes back in, kidnapper brings haleigh back around front to be picked up or walk away.
misty would not want ron to know she was fooled or made a mistake. that is why the police were not called till ron came home. but, her brother tim and i believe her mother were called first?

If Misty had them at the party, I suspect Jr. was sleeping. Haleigh had more trouble sleeping. Jr. may have roused up when the man in black took Sissy.
That is just one theory, but LE seems interested in enough to go to the expense of draining a pond.
