The only reference made to NSF within this report was an aknowledgement stating that the authors used data from a certain NSF funded project. The NSF funded project they took their data from is called “Understanding Crime and Community: A National Neighborhood Crime Study”. Now I know NSF may fund some questionable stuff but lets not blame them for stuff they had no control over.
