		<description>I in no way support the work done by Kurbin, Squires and Graves, but I feel it must be noted that none of three authors received funds from the National Science Foundation.  The only reference made to NSF within this report was an aknowledgement stating that the authors used data from a certain NSF funded project.  The NSF funded project they took their data from is called "Understanding Crime and Community: A National Neighborhood Crime Study".  Now I know NSF may fund some questionable stuff but lets not blame them for stuff they had no control over.</description>
