The brother of Misty Croslin, the last person to see a missing Satsuma girl alive, is once again behind the bars of the Putnam County jail.
Hank Thomas “Tommy” Croslin Jr. was booked in to the Putnam County jail Thursday morning at 11:40 and charged with misdemeanor narcotic equipment-possession or use and a felony drug charge for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
973.The Sky spoke with Lt. Johnny Greenwood to ask if Croslin’s arrest had anything to do with rumours of an ambulance call to 116 Tyler regarding a 42-year-old man frothing at the mouth and how this arrest might impact other cases pending against Croslin. Greenwood replied:
“I have spoken with our Communications Center and we have not had a rescue call at 116 Tyler Lane today. Regarding your question of Tommy Croslin’s bond on the previous arrest, that will be up to the judge or possibly the bail bondsman that bonded him out last time. If there was a condition in his bond paperwork concerning any future arrests, the bail bondsman could possibly move to have his bond revoked if he/she desires.”
Tommy Croslin was recently released on bond regarding the alleged theft of a gun from his blind neighbor. This is the same neighbor his mother, Lisa Croslin, is accused of stealing checks from and forging at least one of those checks for $400.
While awaiting bond on his gun theft charge, Tommy Croslin told investigators he didn’t think that his sister Misty Croslin was at home in the 10pm hour that February night then 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings was taken while she was being watched by Misty.
Misty Croslin was the babysitter for Haleigh Cummings and a Ronald Cumming Jr. before marrying the children’s’ father, Ronald Cummings Sr., shortly after was abducted from the mobile home they shared in Hermit’s Cove near Satsuma, FL.
Just weeks ago Misty and Ronald divorced and young Haleigh is still missing.
Haleigh is described as a 5 year old white female. She is approximately 3′0, 39 lbs, blonde hair & brown eyes. Unknown clothing description.
Haleigh was last seen at her residence in the Hermit’s Cove area of Putnam County on February 9, 2009 between the hours of 8-10pm.
A statewide Amber Alert has been issued. An additional $30,000 in rewards have been posted.

Hank Thomas Croslin, Jr., 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after he was found slumped over in the front seat of a van near a school bus stop in Satsuma.
He told deputies he had dropped his son off at 8 a.m. and taken a nap because he was sleepy, according to a police report.
Deputies found methadone, hydrocodone and other narcotics in the van during a search just before 9 a.m. Thursday.
So…Loritab it ws then, and methadone, and some other drug not mentioned…maybe Fentanyl?

Anyone who has ever watched a drug movie knows that narcotic equipment could mean…mirrors and blades, scales, spoons with burn marks, or syringes. Whatever they use to get it into their bodies. Children cannot be taken care of when their caretaker’s judgment is impaired from drunkenness or drugs. It’s common sense people. I hate to say it, but the oxycontin overdose seems the most likely. B. Drug Equipment Violations
Definition - The unlawful manufacture, sale, purchase, possession, or transportation of equipment or

This offense covers those cases involving drug paraphernalia, equipment, chemicals, illegal labs, etc.
So IMO the equiptment charge was either for a syringe or a straw. Most pill heads like to snort them.
If they “shoot” them then on it is referred to as Heroin whether natural or synthetic. So…
I’m guessing a short piece of plastic straw, with maybe a small mirror.

I have thought all along that Haleigh might have died from an asthma attack. If she were at a place where they were smoking cigarettes, pot, and whatever else was in the air, it is possible. If she was being taken in and out in cold weather, that was stressful in itself.
NG asked Ron, if Haleigh’s inhaler was still at the house, and he said it was. If Misty took her somewhere that night without her inhaler, and she had an asthma attack, she could have died from it. People at the party might have assumed, she got ahold of some drugs, because they had never seen an asthma attack. Then everyone could have panicked because of the drug use, and the cover-up could have began.
Don’t make a differents to me what this bumb has or hasn’t done,it still isn’t bringing Haleigh home.It has nothing to do with the case anyways.I don’t want to hear about what Misty’s family or Ron’s family are doing unless it has something to do with this case then everyone should stop giving these low lifes attention.They are not worth the sink they are made up of.As my husband would say,they are a total waste of skin.The only thing that ever came from the Cummings/Crolins clans is that sweet little girl and her brother.The rest can go straight to Hell.
Karon, you have valid points. One thing that confused me though is the inhaler was still in the house but I think the nebulizer?(breathing machine) was missing. That is so odd to me.

Teresa Neves said on NG that they didn’t use the nebulizer, unless she was coming down with pneumonia. The nebulizer could have been over at one of the other relatives.
One other thing that I read another blogger say was they could have had it at the party with their dope inhaling. I don’t understand anything about that sort of thing, but this blogger that wrote this said they were using inhalers at some of these parties.
Karon, I didn’t know they could use nebulizer for drugs but I guess that makes sense.
I was just thinking that if who ever took Haleigh took the nebulizer that would mean they were planning on taking care of her. I had heard they can be expensive to buy. Probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I am just speculating but I guess the nebulizer helps you breath deeper. So I guess anything that you would want to snort the machine might help you breath it deeper. What a sad thought, using that babies medical tools for drugs.

I was referring to the inhaler question. I have always wondered about that. Being a mother herself, sometimes, she asks things in a woman’s point of view. So many times, men miss things that a woman would catch.
Like, I know with a certainty in my mind, that Misty didn’t go out in the dark and bring that heavy cinderblock up there to prop that door open.
O I C what u meant. I agree. I think that block was put against the door earlier so whenever someone came back it wouldn’t make noise. I know I wouldn’t go out in the dark to get it. I would be afraid to do so. I am going to bed now.

The nebulizer make a wet mist that would not make for a good drug use item, however a inhaler with Albuterol (that is used in them) Is very often used with drugs, it acts as a form of “speed” if taken in large quantities.
Ive heard so many different scenerio’s about the nebulizer and inhaler! Ive heard they were both in the home ive heard they were both missing and ive heard that the inhaler they have found in the house and that the nebulizer was gone but then again ive heard it the other way around also! Ive also heard crystal has an inhaler and nebulizer which is from when haleigh was with her! I know that the albuterol is a steroid so im sure with drugs could impact the effect. My son is two and they took him off the nebulizer and just gave him the inhaler with the same meds you get the nebulizer the albuterol because it was one squirt rather then sitting there with the nebulizer in front of his face for 15 minutes! If anyone could clear this up for me with facts that would be great!
What a bunch! They are into drugs up to their necks and they aren’t even good at it. ha!

Hello All…there was a release of 2,100 pages of evidence in Caylee Anthony case, about 45 minutes ago as per the Orlando Sentinel. Apparently much of it is FBI evidence
Just out of curiousity I thought that I’d check in with the Haleigh Cummings case, what was developing. Again the only thing I found was news about Misty’s family and all of the bloggers supposing this and that about the people involved. My goodness, quit giving these people any recognition - they don’t deserve it.
Well for the relevance of what will this have to do with Haleigh? What will Tommy decide to discuss with Le to help him out of this bind?
We do realize that if he changes his story from the last venture into interview, he might discredit himself, or dig a deep hole he can’t get out of? I think this time, the Detectives should take time and request funding from the department to call someone in to do a Poly.. About time of course, should I say Overtime..
He is not going to want to set in jail, and before he can get out again on bond, they will probably revoke the other one. Seems like the arrest should well be validation that he violated his other bond restrictions. So, Tommy may not have to worry about his sister dropping the restraining order. And if by chance Dad did have an OD session.. Hey, who’s the responsible party this time? Would this effect Lisa C. bond restrictions?? And a huge question, where are they getting all of this money to afford the lifestyle??

Hi, D Kerr and Diane! How are we supposed to know if something regarding the Croslins (the family of the live-in babysitter when Haleigh went missing) does have something to do with her disappearance or does not?
I don’t see how we can ignore these people who are among the closest to Haleigh. Who they are and what they’ve done (do) gives us a better idea of the circle she was living in - at the very least. And who knows when something might become apparent that is directly linked to her disappearance.
Some of what I’ve learned from hearing about these people is that Misty must have had one heck of a lousy childhood AND little if any kind of supportive family environment or influence now. Could that have affected Haleigh? You bet it could have. Could any members of her family have been involved in what happened to Haleigh?
IMO yes. Some of them are desperate, low down criminals who sneak around at all hours of the night (like when Tommy and Lisa robbed the blind neighbor at 4 am) and steal things. They are desperate for money and drugs. They keep drugs around kids (Tommy’s for example). And so on.
So yes, as miserable as they are and as miserable as it is to hear about them I think it is relevant.

Nodded out at the bus stop after dropping his child off to school, pathetic, just pathetic, with his father showing up to see if his “stolen pills” were in the vehicle, the same father who currently resides with him. These are the people Haleigh was exposed to on a daily basis, courtesy of Misty Croslin. I am sickened by these people.
Tommy has told reporters he would take a polygraph. So what is LE waiting for? I think it is B.S. if funding is claimed to be an issue. If money is available to drain a pond, it should certainly be available for someone who has agreed to take a polygraph, and has put them self at the scene of the crime. If he does take a polygraph, my prediction is he will fail!
Not that you can believe Misty, but she said Tommy had really gone down hill since Haleigh came up missing. It seems she is right about that. I wonder why? I never have felt that Tommy had a part in taking Haleigh., but I have thought, he might have helped get rid of her if she died.

This is off the subject, but I thought you might know. In the Somer Thompson case, the police report states that she went missing at 15:10 and it was reported at 17:06. What time would that have been? Would that mean 3:10 p.m. and 5:06 p.m.?
I just have a couple questions.
What motive would Tommy have to take Haleigh?
If Haleigh did die and he helped get rid of her, who was he helping? If it was Misty, why are they at each other’s throats instead of sticking together?
He puts himself at that home at the approximate time Haleigh went missing. Was it a slip up? Or did he just tell cops what they wanted to hear to get the “get out of jail free” card?
It’s obvious that Misty isn’t protecting nor covering up for Tommy. They seem to have a hate/hate relationship.
Karon, Yes, that is correct about the times.
I saw a tape where Major Bowling said Ronald did call him that night. They have records to prove it, and that is why they believe him. Early on, on one of the area stations, I heard that a woman thought, she saw Tommy there that night. That may be another reason they believe him.
I think the Croslin’s are desperate and drug addicted, and that is why they are turning on each other, and then getting back together.

Last week on Levi Page’s radio show, Tim Miller said that he felt that Misty might be covering for TOMMY.
Tommy himself places himself at HaLeigh’s home the night she went missing during the very timeline that LE is interesting in. Tommy did NOT tell ANYONE that he went to HaLeigh’s home that night during the critical timeline for all those months - WHY? He didn’t tell his wife, his brother, or even LE until he got arrested and held on a $50,000 bond. Again WHY? Does no one find that strange or even SCARY?
Look at picture of Tommy before HaLeigh went missing, and look at the picture of Tommy now. Tommy appears to be slipping down hill on a dangerous ride with drugs. Is there something weighing on his conscious? Tim Miller seems to feel that there is. None of us really know, but Tommy is not someone that we should ignore until we KNOW what happened to HALEIGH. Until we know the TRUTH and HaLeigh is found!
I sure wish LE would REQUEST (since that is all they really can do) that Tommy take a LDT.
Glad that DCF was copied with that police report. Lindsy, if she is smart, will kick all those Croslins out of HER HOUSE. She has a degree and owns that house. She doesn’t need a bunch of, IMO, drug using criminals living with her and her children. She’ll lose her children if she isn’t careful.
I don’t think Tommy would just makeup a lie that would put him write at the MH when Haleigh went missing, unless they had might have evidence he was there around that time.
PAW69, I think the time Haleigh disappeared could range anywhere between 7 or 8 pm and when they called 911 at 3:27 am. No one we can count on saw here between those hours (and it could have been earlier - still a hotly debated topic)
Motives for Tommy or anyone:
1. None - it was an accident (at home or at a “party” she was taken to)
2. Perv - For example, Misty left the children alone and someone went in the MH and violated her and she passed away
3. Perv - For example, Misty left the children alone and someone went in and took her
4. Profit - Misty left the children alone OR went along with a plan with almost anyone to sell Haleigh (whether to a “loving couple wanting to adopt” or a perv, who knows?).
5. Drugs - “Use” of Haleigh was traded for drugs (with or without Misty there).
Horrible thoughts but just thoughts.

This is starting to look like a possible drug OD/accidental death, cover up isn’t it? They would have to drain every pond there, and even then, there’s no guarantee they’d find anything at this point.

There is a tape of Misty saying she was so scared, she called her mother that night. Her words slurred after that, and I couldn’t understand her. I think she said Of course, that was after I called 9-1-1. Since she didn’t call 9-1-1 until after Ronald came home, you can nearly know, she called her mother first.

Law, I’m in GA. We are on Well and Septic, I would assume they are on Well and septic too. Although, depending on how close they are to an actual city would determine if they are on city water.

Thats is also why when they gave it to her late at night she couldn’t fall asleep.
Reason I ask about water and sewer is, a lot of old wells and old septic are often used by criminals to hide things they do not want found. A lot of time here in Florida the underbrush grows up over the top of the lid and they cannot be seen without digging about a foot down.

Karon, I don’t know what that was about. Because tearing out the wood panelling around the tub would have nothing to do with the septic tank itself.
That sounds more like they were possibly looking for drugs or something else.
Unless, they thought she was placed under the tub area. But usually depending on the type of tub is used, there is no room, nor a cubby hole. Most mobile homes use the tub that is in full that doesn’t require panelling.
The septic and well would have been outside of the house about 10-15 feet back.
However, I bet there are many old abandon ones that they really need to check.

Not everyone who uses prescription drugs and the drug alcohol are child abductors.
The type of drug and the effect on that person and that person original attitude on life determines how if they will or will not commit a crime.

Personally, m2c, I think LE might be keeping something back. Maybe to help with the investigation. I said that months ago if I’m not mistaken and I still feel the same way.

Yes, I think LE is holding on to something, and I think that Ron and Misty have not told all. LE is not required to tell what they know/learned during the course of investigating. To be honest, I would be very upset if they did blab all.
I believe we must understand that although this could be a crime involving a PERV, it’s just possible that it’s about drugs/money/informer.
Now, that is just something that has crossed my mind several times.

Unfortunately I don’t know a thing about LE’s investigative techniques (or PIs). But it’s a safe bet that they look at all the evidence they can find and listen to what everyone involved (or close to the situation) say and what they don’t say. So, Curiosity, if you’d like to do that you could join the Forum here and look at a lot of information that many bloggers here have gathered. News reports, links to interviews etc.
Go to the top of the page and click on Forums in the orange box and go from there.
One of the problems in this case, though, is that LE has not released a lot of information to the public. We have very few real facts to go on. And even some of them are hotly debated.
But still it’s good to look at the information that is available.
Thanks m2c! I really appreciate your talking back at me. You seem friendly and willing to lead people in the right direction to the forums for more details and information that can help us solve this case. If we all put our heads to it we will figure it out because they always say TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE and I think that is true here. We join together and solve some of the things and can pass it on to investigators when they read here which might be once or twice a day. Maybe in the morning and evening. Maybe on their lunch breaks they read here too. So everyone put your thinking caps on! WE CAN DO IT!!

When I get frustrated, at a situation, I don’t understand, I tend to get answers through dreams. For instance, my sister was staying with me awhile back and she had about 6 packs of cigarettes in it, had laid them in the kitchen and they came up missing. She insinuated, that myself or my son had taken them. First of all they were Winston’s and I smoke Marlboro’s. My son smokes menthals. Anywho - it ticked me off and I went to bed frustrated and I dreamed that they were stuffed into the closet she had been using, with all her other stuff. When I awoke the next morning, I told her God showed me they were stuffed into the closet - two weeks later she found them there.
So, one night, I’m reading about this case and I got so upset, that there just doesn’t seem to be anything getting accomplished. The dreams tend to come in bits & pieces, so here are the highlights. For those who have high hopes of finding her alive, try not to let the things I say get to you because this may just be another silly dream.
I was put in front of a wooded area (she’s not in water) and then a friendly lion (lion of Judah)gently but swiftly chased me away from the area. Much can be inferred from this; she is being protected

I was disappointed in your above noted article. I note that you tell the reader, that Tommy gave his opinion to LE (that he believed Misty wasnt home at the 10pm hour, on the noght Haleigh disappeared.)
I find it strange, that your article fails to advise the reader, of two much more crucial facts about the said, Tommy.
Why would you omit, that Tommy placed himself at the crimescene, and lied to LE about this for 8 months?
You would probably agree, that from an investigative perpective, a known liars opinion, is not nearly as significant as him now being placed at the crime scene.
I find it baffling how none of your articles have ever really focused on Tommys revelation. I do acknowledge you mentioned it, however from an investigative point of view, this is the only “bombshell” this case has seen in 9 months…. and you missed the boat…. Why??

Thanks for your reply, and for helping make my point. I did say, in my post that there had been a “little bit” written about this event.. but my point was that the the chosen words are weak, and misleading. A huge lead was ignored by omitting the much more serious aspect. Its one thing for Tommy’s opinion (that he feels Misty wasnt home) to be highlighted and written about….What about the fact that his revelation also pinned him as a liar? Why is his opinion of whether or not Misty was home, captioned, as how is it credible or trustworthy?
For anyone writing on this investigation,would you not agree that the bigger product of Tommy’s unreliable word, is the fact that not only did he lie, but first and foremost… he places himself there….
I question the intentions of the writer, when an event such as this one, becomes aired, and a writer takes the event and apparently minimizes the significance in his article..

I was already part of a discussion here about the garbage being checked. Some blogger (obviously married or otherwise related to someone in PCSO) claimed all that had been done thoroughly. I didn’t believe it. What am I supposed to do? Hound PCSO like you do with another call?
I’ve suggested that PCSO be investigated by higher authorities or somehow made to do something new and different. If you want that done why don’t you start a petition? I don’t want to but nothing’s preventing you.
So please let me remind you that you have obviously not read all the comments here and probably not listened to the radio shows either. So maybe you should stick to amateur investigating instead of amateur news reporter and critic.

If this is the case, have you wondered if you are helping facilitate LE, in sitting back, by accepting their excuse, that the case isnt solved because Misty holds the key? Can you see how that has been a scapegoat for them? Can you see how that can stagnate any case? Are you satisfied that this case hasnt been solved? You seem quite content to do a lot of bashing towards any given players in this case, yet you havent offered any solutions…
On account that I have made a statement about the landfill not being checked out thoroughly as per LE, does that bother you? Ya know, In all technicallity, These blogs are for us to make comments,state our opinions, ideas, and theories. No where does it state that anyone has to state facts (proof) of anything. The writter can also state what they wish as well. To be quite honest, the media has inconsistancies and they say as they wish as well.
No one is required to show where they got their opnions,thoughts,ideas,theories from.
I’ll also add that m2c is not a miracle worker and is unable to wave her wand and make things happen.
If LE is watching, They need to search ALL the wells in that whole area. It will take some time to do so. But it would be worth it whether they find something or not. Because then they can say, they went above and beyond trying to find Haleigh. They need to look at Crystal’s side of the fence instead of clearing them so quickly. They need to put everyone who knows Haleigh in 1 big room and lock the door and see who starts talking first.

Im wondering why you think no one wud have talked by now. i did agree in the 1st few weeks of the case, that somone may have known somthing. Now that 9 months has come and gone, and no one has come forward, how do reconcile this? Is it surprising that no one wud have come foreard for the reward money by now? If haleigh was out, somewhere, it wud be easy for LE to have found evidence that Haleigh was somewhere that she had never been known to be… Do you think the group that Misty/Ron/Crystal are apart of, have shown any type of ability to remaina loyal to anyone? Do you agree that ppl who live there lives for drugs, which this group seems to have demonstrated, wud pass up o the oppurtunity of 35K?
Paw, i agree that the wells in the area should be checked.. I am saddened that there isnt any checking going on.. I pointed out that is apears as though the landfill was not thoroughly cheked. I think LE have become complacent by having the expactaion that someone has the answers, so why bother looking?

After this long, there is no way that it wud not have come out by now, if someone new anything…
also, there wud have been some type of evidence as to ne indicative that someone lied, and if that was the case, an arrest wud have been made for probable cause..
if we use the example of Scott Peterson, we can see how during the investigation leading up to when Lacey and unborn child washed up, we also knew that the ongoing investigation brought up mnay huge inconsistencies as the weeks turned to months.. We learned of his lie about Amber.. thru that we also saw his inconsistant behavior, we also saw how he stopped talking to the family within the first couple of weeks… we also saw LE taking bags of cement out of the house and continue going bak for more..
The point I am making is that were clear indications of his guilt, and that he wasnt saying anything.. and the one person who was able to tell anything, came out within 8 weeks..
He was also a grown man, and as arrogant as he was to think he cud get away with it, he is clearly mucvh smarter and assertive them Misty… it no longer seems plausible that any secrets are kicking around as too much time has gone by and i cant see the potential that Misty cud be outsmarting LE for this long..
I hope you continue offering that LE should be looking instead of sitting back, waiting for the 2nd coming of Christ.. At the start of the investigation, it was plausible to give a few weeks in hope some leads wud develop.. Now it is time to get up and get some organized searching done..

OK I am the one getting fed up here with this. FedUp and Estelle, you can both go to other blogs if you don’t like how this one is, we will not hold it against you. I have watched FedUp antagonize people just because they do not agree with them for some time now and to be honest enough is enough.

m2c, I’m starting to wonder if maybe a stranger/SO did take Haleigh. After 9 months and everyone still doing drugs and drinking. Someone would have cracked by now I would think. Because when people are on drugs and/or alcohol, that seems to be when people start talking. And if Misty was drugged that night to the point that it knocked her out cold, that would explain why she doesn’t know anything else. It could also explain her inconsistancies. Her inconsistancies could be from when she started sobering up, she had started to remember bits and pieces. That’s just my thought as of right now. JMO.

I am not sure why you would have a problem with any of my posts as they have been respectful, in pointing out valid concerns. It isnt a case of not liking this site (as you put it) its a case of bringing awareness to this site, or any site for that matter.
It is a shame that you refer to me as “antagonizing”. I feel thought provoking is much more appropriate.
As a site owner/operator, I would hope that you would be open to impartial and intelligent, debates. It seems as though the only members you want here, are Misty haters….

Okay I’m going to step in Fed Up, What’s with the Misty haters part? There are quite a few of us that have stated over and over again that LE needs to quit wasting time on Misty and look in different directions. If you have been following up on the blogs, you would know that. Time and time again, We (the ones who are trying to steer this in other directions other than Misty) are the ones getting hated upon. LE have wasted 9 months on Misty and have gotten nowhere. And when a few of us mention going other directions, like crystal’s side of the fence, or the wells, or something else, We get called Misty lovers,protectors, what have you. All we want is the truth and Haleigh to be found. We want every direction investigated, not just Misty. So where you are trying to come off saying we are Misty haters is beyond me. But you have your information mixed up and/or your not reading everything. Simon and Jan have always allowed us to put our comments,ideas,opinions,theories in here and they let us debate each other’s ideas. The only time they get involved is when it becomes an arguing match.
You know what is really sad to me is the fact these people like Fed and Estelle are really harming Misty. If they wanted to help her, they could come on here and tell us who they really are, and tell us in a nice way what they know on this case. They, apparently, feel they have a connection with Misty and her family.
We could use more true, useful information about this family. I have often wondered about the hardships they have faced in the past,, how scared Misty feels, now, and how she will be able to make a living for herself since her divorce.
I would like to know, the reasons some people feel so strongly that Misty is innocent. I, personally, hope Misty is innocent, and Haleigh comes home.
I think alot of people would be willing to listen, if Fed Up and Estelle would be kind in the way that they speak. People will never accept a thing anyone says to them, if it is said in a hateful, attacking way.
The old saying: You can draw more flies with honey, than you can vinegar—–is true. People will never read thru long hate filled rants. The first few lines is about all that will be read.

PAW @ 5:49 - That’s right. Or maybe Misty did leave the children alone for a while and came back and found Haleigh gone. She could be scared to death of Ron’s reaction and scared that she’d be charged with negligence, child endangerment or even accessory. As we’ve discussed before there are a lot of reasons for people to lie or cover up something but it doesn’t mean they committed that specific crime.
At one time I thought LE might be pressuring Misty to fess up about the night (going out or something) in order to confirm that they should look elsewhere. But they’re stuck on her (or so it seems). It seems like they’ve convicted her and basically put a big bullseye on her back.
Not knowing what evidence they MAY have to support LE’s point of view - that they haven’t told us about - I just can’t go along with it.
This is why I don’t understand people demanding facts. The only people with the facts is LE and they have that so close to their chest, they may as well wear the facts.
Right now, and for the past 9 months, it’s only been a he said she said battle as well as “let’s see who’s family we can trash and bash the quickest”.
The only true facts we have is Haleigh is missing. Ron was at work. Misty said she woke up. Everything else is just a bashing party.

It has been very apparent, that any post I have written has been rudely addressed by many. Not by me. I have been called names and even sworn at. I hopwe you can agree that I have been professional in my adversity, and have never reacted inany such way.
My minority views are scrutinized and in reponse I have just continued to point out and back up what I have said. I am not the one being rude.
Asking for corrections, or clarifications, should not be perceived as rude. I think it is reasonable that one be accountable for what they say, and again i dont think it is rude that i share my feelings about it.
Im not sure if you will openly admit, that far more rudeness has been directed at me, than vice versa….only because of questions I have asked or points I have put have across.
Now, to tell you a bit about myself, (though clearly I am not obligated,) I will. I have no knowledge of any of these ppl, other than what I have seen and read. I had no idea, such a community existed, until this story made headlines. I have never even been to that state. It seems strange that you wud think I must know one of them to have taken this stand.. it reiterates that toxic stories are that rampant…
I havent speant a great deal of time worrying about what Misty’s future holds as I have been more involved with praying that this case be resolved.
I do agree that Mistys credentials dont seem to reflect a very secure future for a livlihood or even a solid relationship. That said, I personally dont think Misty has anymore information. If there were any lies, I suspect we wud have heard by now..
At the start, naturally, it appeared that Misty may have very well had some involvement, but as the weeks have turned into months.. it seems unlikley. A good example of time weeding out the truth is for little beauty Shannon Dedrick, who thankfully went missing, but is safe and sound!
I am an advocate for justice. In this case, obvioulsy , I wish Haleigh would be found and of course I wish she is alive, but after this much time, I doubt she is…
I know we can use Jaycee’s case as an example of someone that did live, however with her cited medical problems, I am not sure that she cud have stayed healthy for this long, even if someone’s warped intentions were to keep her….
One wud think that not having her medication as well as enduring the stress, of being abducted wud bring illness especially to one who wud have a compromised immune system to begin with.
I feel that we the ppl have a voice and if everyone started airing their expectations of having LE doing more organized searches, it wud be more productive.
I feel like there are many many vopices we can put together and stop being content that LE seems to be waiting for some kind of confession, and seems the searching has stopped..
I read in a post earlier where someone has talked about cheking wells. I think that is a great idea… i also talked about the landfill and how it appears it wasnt thoroughly checked.. there are prolly many searches that can and should be conducted and I personally wonder why TM cant and hasnt been more involved with the searching aspect, instead f a wannabe PI.. His fiasco with Donna, was another deflection from LE and how they may use their time more effectively.
I have wondered if the fact that so many large blog sites who focus on Misty…have thought about the reality that she may not be involved… I have brought many different examples and so far seem to have gone unoticed.. I think the internet is a fabulous tool for cummunication, however it can be destructive as well. It seems as though ppl want to hate her ang hold her responsible when there are many facts saying different…So instead of demanding answers everyone just stagnates on rumours and false allegations.
I have brought examples here, hoping that they can be considered. I have found lots of the treatment unfair towards one single young girl where there are many reasons to look beyond her.. The first most obvious is time and oppurtunity.. there really wasnt any of either, or we wud have known by now..
Fed Up, Your last post is what most of us have been saying for months now. Quite a few of us have expressed those same concerns and have tried expressing why LE needs to lay off Misty and look elsewhere.
Instead, because of this town’s lifestyle, Ron and Misty both have been under the microscope this whole time. Yes, Tommy is in jail once again and it has to deal with drugs once again. But this town’s jail doors are revolving doors for 99.99% of the people who live there.
I want to know why they cleared Crystal and the SO’s so quickly. I want to know why their ivestigation is so sloppy. To me they have done a sloppy job. And I feel they made up their mind long ago about Misty because they have no answers and they may have messed up somewhere and they have to blame someone. So why not blame a 17 yr old drug addict girl. Because they don’t want to admit that they messed up.
Crystal to me has motive. She was in trouble for not paying child support and she was about to go to jail. She had people who could take Haleigh and even hide her. She then attacked Ron right away and tried to get custody of JR. But it didn’t work. I feel if Crystal is the one behind this, the intent was to take both Haleigh and Jr. But something happened and they couldn’t go back and get Jr. I feel this is the reason there was a cinder block used to keep the screen door open. So the person(s) taking the kids could get in and out quicker. Maybe Tommy knocking on the door was the reason they couldn’t get Jr. after taking Haleigh. As for Misty not waking up, Maybe it was because she was given drugs that was laced to keep her asleep so the job could be done.

You were kinder in what you said just now than you ever have been before. I made it through the whole thing. I don’t think you have cursed but, maybe, it is the way you start out addressing people. You sound like you are in an attack mode, and you take it, that we are out to hang Misty when we aren’t. You keep calling me out, and I don’t think Misty is guilty.
I believe there are so many trails to lead in this direction or that direction. Misty was the last one to see her, that we know of so, naturally, people will look at her first.
What you referred to me saying Haleigh’s body would never be found after all this time, was meant, if she is dead, Florida is a hard place to find a child’s body, and that is what I was talking about.
We are just a blog here, and bouncing ideas around alot. I do intend to try to offer more tapes of what the different parties have, actually, said. I think you could offer any kind of tapes or facts that LE has spoken, and
that would be a help to prove your point.
Maybe, if you would soften your approach by using expressions like(Have you thought of it like this? and then present your case.) or (I feel that it may have happened like this, and then present your case.) Try to get your point across slowly, not so much at one time. I am really serious about a short paragraph is more effective than a long statement.
I think Jan is a very nice person and, if you e-mailed her and asked her some ideas of how you could work this out with her, and how you could be more effective, I believe she would work with you.
If Jan allows it, I will answer you anytime you want to talk to me, as long as it is not an attack. I do not hold a grudge against you, but I do want to examine every aspect of this case.

I have made an effort to bring something else to the table, other than Misty lol and it wasnt received well.. If youlook bak you will see what I mean… I am seeing in some posts that the ppl here are over Misty and want LE to get off their duffs and search for poor Haleigh. Clearly, we have that in common. Prolly many things.. As a blogger you may be able to cut me some slack, and know its not easy to get in at a site, especially if a large majorrity are of a different opinion.. That is the great thing about debating.. either one of us is liable to walk away with a different view ..
Im not sure if you wud agree but there have been may outside stories brought in to this case that have been huge deterrrants and seem to help force LE to drop the ball..
I prsonally believe that if the bigger media players like NG, started changing the nature of her Cummings reports by starting asking about the investigation and why LE is sitting bak, she may be able to help influence the direction. I do believe on the jury of public opinion having a huge influence..
It does appear that the focus on this case seems to be Misty, and no one looking for Haleigh… Its a viscous circle…
I have tried pointing out many different reasons that the focus cud be more productive if the public started writing and asking the main question of where is Haleigh, without having Misty’s name in the same sentence..

I have you figured out! You say things that only people close to the family would know, like Ron was on so many sedatives, in those first weeks. He was saying things that sounded bad on Misty in those first weeks, because he was on so many sedatives. How would you know that?
I am going back over everything you have written, and I am going to examine it closely for clues to this case.

i have given up on fuwmf a week or two ago. if fedup really wanted to change the direction of this blog with facts and/or other theories, fedup had the ability to do that. people here would have appreciated hearing the facts and other directions to look at (without all the personal attacks.) if fedup wanted to influence people he/she needed to debate fairly. many people on this blog are here, just because they have good hearts. i think some are interested in the search aspect too. and if fedup wanted to make sure someone (misty) is not the sole focus of all the talk, fedup could have contribute other directions, so the talk would be more balanced.
i have been concerned that fedup IS someone who is “hurt” about all the talk about misty. could be someone close to misty or someone who is just very sympathetic to misty and all that she has been through. and even maybe, fedup IS trying to protect misty from the truth coming out. (like about the blankets being important.) (fedup has certainly tried to discredit you and others who seem to be the most persistant?) (a little like what happened to cobra.)
if someone is just trying to be kind to misty, i hope they realize it is almost impossible to talk about this case without mentioning misty. obviously it happened on her watch and also she herself has implicated her own family.
this whole case is heartbreaking. i still hope that the ending will not be. that haleigh will be found alive. if haleigh is deceased, she still deserves to be brought home to her family. all jmo. ms.p.

It’s really me. They are giving us a bad time,but we are going to outlast them. They are after me, Cobra, and M2C ,now. M2C made them mad by making a joke about Tommy earlier in the day, so they used my name to say something insulting to her. They even posted something insulting under Jan’s name the night before. When that came on the screen, I knew Jan didn’t say that.
They are, also after Treece and PAW69. I guess, anything to cause trouble.
We are going to make it. We can just get wise to their trouble making and ignore them. They will give up after awhile.

I think you may be a little paranoid. I have included in my posts, numerous times that I dont have ANY Connection to anyone there. You may have misread, the importance of the point I was driving home. The point was not so much about the “blankets” per se, but the fact that you were making unfounded allegations about the washing machine and whether it was running when LE got there… It appears that Cobra started that unfounded allegation, and the reason I am comfortable in saying this statement, is because I checked it out, from the ppl who Cobra say, “noted” this allegation. I think that is the responsible thing to do, unlike your appraoch which appears to be by believing everything you read, and having the audacity, to post it.

Okay, FedUp: Apparently you either read or can understand only TWO words out of my paragraphs of posts refuting your insulting allegations, so I will apologize for calling you idiotic and a c**t IF you apologize for your insults. In case you don’t know what they are, here’s a tip:
If you ignore those two words you keep crying about and read what I wrote to you before you will understand why I was upset and why many of us are insulted – it is incredibly rude and insulting of you to call Jan, Simon and TJ’s articles biased. Or to say that we bloggers only “claim to want the truth.” We are not blind stupid sheep, we are not “Misty Haters,” we have been and are open-minded about who may be responsible, we DO read and research elsewhere and we HAVE take action to try to move LE in different directions. To get off topic slightly, if Ron or Misty want to claim they’ve never done “illegal” drugs, a hair test can prove what, when and how much. I hope the key players involved realize that “illegal” also means a script drug that ain’t yours.

I was looking for it because I remember Misty saying something about Tommy’s kids being there for an hour, when initially she said they were there for 30 minutes, didn’t find it, but I did find the FirstCoast News interview with T.J. Ward, the one who gave her the voice stress test. This guy has been an investigator for a number of years and he went to Putnam Co. on Misty’s request. What reason does he have to lie about the results? None. Frankly I believe T.J. Ward. He does not say Misty is guilty but says she’s holding back info. The question then becomes Why hasn’t she told all she knows? What is her motive?

Several times Misty speaks of Haleigh in the past tense.
Also, during the video about her recent engagement and upcoming marriage to Ron, she remarks something like “I just wanted everyone to know that I was home that night. I passed my lie detector test and I was home.”
OK, Where did that come from? Nobody was talking about whether or not she was home.
But surely she has something on Ron.

She was at dude’s house, Forgot his name. While they were on the couch banging each other, Haleigh decided to go explore, got into something she wasn’t suppose to and died. Her and dude cover it up. Or he covered it up while Misty took Jr. home. Then he shows up and sets up the home like someone came in and took Haleigh.
Just a thought. Nothing more, nothing less.

Polly and PAW, I don’t think that examining what everyone has said and done is bashing. It’s investigating and questioning and thinking. As long as we do the same with everyone. Ron, Tommy etc.
The problem is that we don’t know about a lot of other people. Who was interviewed on Crystal’s side for example? We don’t have LE interviews (other than news media) with some people or LDTs etc.
And there’s never going to be a way to investigate SOs. Even if all the ones in the area checked out it doesn’t mean that one didn’t come into the area from somewhere else.And yes if Misty is lying about anything the next question is why? It does not mean she did something to Haleigh. It could mean she didn’t wake up to see what happened or that she did sneak out and came back to find her gone and she’s scared of Ron and scared of being held responsible by law. So there are still a lot of possibilities. But we have to look at it all and it’s great that you all are doing so much to gather what information is available!
LE said they found a child’s footprint along a wooded path down to the water. Dogs traced Haleigh out the backdoor, down the wooded path back up to the house then toward the bus stop.
I can see Misty toting Jr. and holding Haleigh’s hand as she went looking for a ride to get to Dude’s house or to a party. Didn’t take her cell phone.
Is it possible that Jr and Haleigh were jumping on the couch, making it bounce and Haleigh had an asthma attack brought on by exertion? That might also explain the remark about the bike riding earlier that evening.

I believe if Crystal wanted to take the kids from Ron to avoid paying child support that she’d just wait until her next visitation, then just disappear with them.

LE has said that the screen door was held open by a cinderblock..that would be more than 3 or 4 inches.. The back door that was alegedly open 3 or 4 inches wud have been enough for anyone to see that the screen door was wide open just like she descibed in the call….

She did call a t-shirt and underwear pajamas.. but Im not sure why that is so weird, or needs to be descibed as a lie… I suspect many kids who have gone to bed in a tshirt and underwear, (as their pajamas) cud easlily have been described to an energency worker dispatcher (during a time of crisis) as pajamas…. she elaborated to say the pink tshirt and underwear
Im not sure why you deem she was lying just because Misty later found the named tshirt, in the laundry pile on the floor by the backdoor.
This is not a lie, it is good evidence for LE which she allegedly immediately gave to them. If this was a lie, I wud supect that she wud not have told them that it was the shirt haleigh had been wearing… I call it it honesty…

The above names are only a very few examples of a huge known problem.. The reason that the pressure was eventually let off these parents, is because the remains were found and the evidence told the sad fate of these children that the parents had nothing to do with it..with the exception of Elizabeth who thankfully lived to tell.

Tommy’s kids were over, playing with Haleigh and Jr. Riding bikes in the yard, later watching videos. Haleigh was “doing great”.

About her upcoming marriage to Ron, Misty says “This is what Haleigh wanted……Haleigh wanted a family.” Something like that anyway, Misty states that’s all she ever wanted was a family.

I was thinking..if it was an accident .. asthma attack, or a fall at home or a drug overdose anywhere for that matter..is it plausible that Misty wud have had the oppurtunity to take Haleigh somewhere and dispose of her remains somewhere and be able to keep that story with anyone, let alone interrogations with LE for this long?.. it appears she is the type who shows “emotion” ..I mean she strikes me as having a personality of being somewhat “animated” …
Does it seem plausible that she cud hide all of this big coverup and hiding the remains of a dead child, and do it in a maximum amount of 6 hours or so, and then be able to create this elaborate tale?
Also, dont you think someone wud have seen her.. she had no vehicle close by … Also, junior probably cud have explaned a bit of what went on, had he really known anything..
If Haleigh had become hurt or sick at home or anywhere and for any reason…even to have been out (where Misty should not have had her and Jr)..it seems as though Misty wud have not had time to think of how to get rid of a childs remains especially on the fly and most probably in shock.. so for Misty to be able to successfully get rid of her without leaving all kinds of evidence behind and around, is hard to believe.. It wud almost seem like she wud have been the type to call 911, if she needed help.. impaired or sober… we know she had the wherewithall to leave to go and party, as we saw her leave for 3 days the wk before, she wasnt afraid too apparantly… there is no real good reason that she wud need to take such drastic measures as concealing an accident and lucking out by doing it perfectly..

We should call them. I had been under the impression that FBI had been involved but I am starting to wonder, how much. It is alleged that the FBI did iterrogate Misty and I have heard Misty say so in an interview somewhere.. ..
Here is her sister in law Chelsea Croslin, who says that Misty has been interrogoted
“She’s like my little sister. I’m not trying to say shes not a smart person, but you know, Misty dropped out of school in the 6th grade. She doesn’t have that much book smarts to be able to fool the FBI and FDLE and every other person that came there and interrogated her for hours and hours and hours and lie detected her over and over and over… I don’t think Misty, she could do it. She’s got a good heart, a good kid, and she loves children. I would trust misty with my kids, before a lot of other people in this world.

I know how kids are, when they get to playing and carrying on. Is it possible that in the course of the evening, while playing with Tommy’s kids, Haleigh and Jr were jumping on the couch? Is it also possible that Haleigh had a asthma attack brought on by the exertion, or perhaps had some underlying heart trouble?
Fed is just trying to consume the whole blog. She is doing it on purpose to keep us from talking about the Cummings’ case. I am going to ignore her.

The difference is that these cases are usually where the evidence leads right back to the parents/guardian and the cases are loved many times..
You are right about Mark Klaas! He sure did everything he could and he was lucky that neighbors saw a strange man around the house that night and that there were 2 other frineds with Polly when she was taken!
Jessica Lunsford’s grandparents werent so lucky. They were called liars, they were threatened, and they tried to everything right too! It didnt help at all. The only thing that helped was the missing RSO, Couey, who they found to be across the way. LE finally found her after she had been buried alive out back of his mobile home. Unfortunately, no forced entry in that house and no evidenace to support that Jessica had been taken, let things happen too slow.. Had LE been more believing, they may have found poor Jessica, before she took her last breath in her living grave 100 ft away. It was heartbreaking watching the news conferences with the poor grandmother grieving yet being treated like a common criminal…
Ed Smart too… he was treated like a liar… his brother ended up failing his poly and that only made things worse for poor Ed… The great thing about that family is that they continued their search and efforts, and that is the only reason their beautiful daughter is currently attending University and playing her harp like she was meant to do !!
There are many cases like this Polly ..when so much time has passed and there is no found evidence, leadig bak to the person who is last seen with the victim, you have to think outside the box.
The big differende in many of these cases, are that the remains were found… if they werent you can be guaranteed the parents wud have never lost the shadow cast over them..

Did you hear those Geraldo tapes with the amplified background on the 9-1-1 tapes. I posted the link to them Monday or Tues, I believe. If you listen to Ron’s voice on the background of that tape, you can be pretty sure he was in on the cover-up.

What Cobra said this afternoon about that 9-1-1 call making no sense at all, was interesting. His mother worked as a 9-1-1 operator, he knew they were coming. Who hangs up on a 9-1-1 operator twice when your daughter is missing? He knew he had to report it, and he was throwing such a fit all night, to make them think he was too hysterical to answer any questions. Trying to buy time, maybe?

Misty claims she tried to call him before he got home. He stops at a store. Security cameras catch him on tape, he’s got his alibi

Voice analysis is less reliable than an ldt. Scientists consider it voodoo science and has absolutely no basis in real science.
Also, the person conducting the test was telling Misty the results as the test was in progress, tainting any possible results anyway.
Although Ron and Misty are acting weird and seeming deceptive, I truly believe they are only lying and covering up having drugs in the home and Haliegh was taken by a SO, and that part of Misty’s story is true. Perhaps not an RSO, perhaps Snodgrass and he stole drugs from the home, which Ron and Misty are not telling le. This would explain Ron looking through cupboards like it sounds like in the 911 call. Or perhaps they were gathering all their paraphernalia to clear it out of the house. I did research a while back and found a stoner blog discussing how they could use a nebulizer for drugs. If Haleigh no longer needed it, maybe they tried it out and didn’t want it around when the cops got there. Just too dumb to know that by keeping ANYTHING from le, they not only make themselves look guilty, they also help the kidnapper get away. They should be searching along that river.
The lifestyle of Ron and Misty seems the norm down there. Doesn’t make it right, doesn’t make them killers either.

I think Ron’s behaviour the night of Haleigh being missing is so extraordinary for a person of his character. A control freak, losing control. I would be more suspicious if he would have been calm.

Simon has asked T.J and Cobra, if they think something big is about to come down on the last two Sunday shows. They have said they didn’t know of anything, but I get the feeling that Simon has heard of something. I hope so.
Nobody has accused Ron or Misty of intentionally killing Haleigh. An accident and a cover-up seem to be reasonable explanations.

If there were any indication that this was done by a predator, the FBI would have a profile out. It doesn’t take 9 months for DNA results. And that is not voodoo science.

4. If this did take place, why wud she have not called 911, knowing that Misty had health problems, do you think she wud have been told about calling 911, if necessary?
Some people are saying that Tommy lied to LE. How can that be, when LE had already checked the cellphone records? (maybe by omition… for NOT telling he went there)
Wonder if LE took SOIL SAMPLES from the tires of the van, and all their shoes.
Especially the children shoes, or did HaLeigh vanish with her shoes ON.
I keep going back to what else was taken that night.

If the people that helped get rid of Haleigh’s body(if that happened) was Misty’s relatives, their DNA would be expected to be there.

Misty was raised by criminal type people. Her own mother stole checks from a blind man. She probably learned how to cover her own backside before she could walk.

I am not exactly sure what you mean by this. Do you mean the FBI would have to have DNA left behind for this to be a predator abduction? Why would the FBI be involved if le has assured them this was NOT a stranger abduction? There have been many cases where le wrongly accuses someone of a crime, while simultaneously allowing other viable leads to go cold.
These people are not criminal masterminds I think the solution to this case is more simple than all of us think. And it is, of course, only my opinion. I am not trying to change anyone’s mind, just expressing my train of thought and how I come to think how I think.
And who are we to say that the FBI does not have a criminal profile out there for a possible abductor? le would not release that info. They are keeping key details to themselves, they always do. That way when someone calls in with real inside knowledge and can verify those details that have been kept secret they know the person is telling the truth. It helps weed out the crazy and the attention seekers.

Everybody sheds DNA wherever they go. The people I know in the recombient lab have to have their DNA profiled just in case of contamination.

I also agree that more searching should be done. I wish Tim Miller wud get some organized searches going. If he has moved on to becoming a wannabe detective. Im sure there are many other foundations that may help.
I also mentioed in an earlier post, that according to LE the landfill was not checked very well. They alledge to have been at the landfill on Sat feb 14, while waiting for the trucks to come in with the residentail garbage that had been picked accumu;ating since the week before. If this is correect, they missed all the dumpsters that week as well as the possibility that some sick ped took her there himself… I think about poor little Somer Thompson, and how it appears she ended up in the landfill under 36 hrs from where she went missing.. God Bless Her and Haleigh!
There may be alot more evidence in LE and the FBI’s possession, than we think.
Look at what has come out in the Anthony case that they have hidden from us, all this time. We don’t know what they have, and they don’t have to be in any hurry, even though all the public is getting restless.

LE says that the cinderblock went to the lab, and hopefully there is something on it.. They have held everything so close to the vest, but hoopefully they have something to catch this horrible criminal.

One last point.. many ppl who have walked away from a poly have been hurt inthe public unfairly as many times these ppl are told everything is satifactory… you cud sure see how a 17 yr old wud think must mean pass…. only to find out later that they are calling it a fail and now the public question their word !!
Not too mention many tools of investigation are made where they have told the person that they failed their poly..only to try and get a confession out of the person.. I amnot saying LE shouldnt use every trick in the book however their tricks shoudlnt come out where it can hurt a potentially innocent person…
Melvin Foster is a good example.. he was the prime suspect in the Green River killings for over a decade..He kept failing his polys too… poor guy! I really like you… you’re just like me, a bit suspicious… I can prove it’s me.
I have talked about my son’s issues, my sister feeding me Iron pills when I was little, and that I used to work in a county jail.
Maybe Jan and Simon will get it fixed. It always gets worse at night after Jan goes to bed.
They have to actually conduct the test for DNA to find it there. They saw no lock, they were suspicious of Misty. And they ran with it. Always suspect the family first right?
They had the blankets from the bed draped over the railing. IMO, this was a huge blunder from the get go. I don’t think that le processed the scene properly. They saw where the people lived, probably pulled up Ron’s record, and behaviour and never looked beyond it.
And lets say they do have DNA from somewhere in the MH, if it matched someone, they would arrest them. If it did not match anyone, it could still be a perv. And a smart SO who may have done this before would know how to keep a crime scene clean. You can google it for Pete’s sake. DS was a chemical engineer for the military, why is this so hard to believe?
It seems to me to be the simplest explanation. Le must have considered the possibility, they have conducted searches for a dead Haleigh. They only refuse to say they think she may be alive cause they have no proof otherwise. They are so restricted in what they can release to the public. I think they are trying to lay off and wait for someone to screw up.
I watch Cold Case Files, and most of the time le knows who has done it and they can’t do anything without proof. Sometimes cases go unsolved for years, or forever without getting solved. But also, le will spend as much time as they have to to get all their ducks in a row. If they arrest without proper proof they lose any chance of prosecution and the perp gets away.

You are correct about the Smart case… Her poor little sister saw everything. Inspite of it, the Smarts were still cast with doubt and were treated much worse after Eds brother failed his poly…The while attempting to get Elizabeths pic out there in the media, Ed actaully referred to Elizabeth as an “Angel”…. I guess I dont have to tell you that it even got worse for him..

About LE missing potential DNA and/or evidence… They didnt even take the back door for months..they ruined any dna with fingerprint dust ..Kinds like that poor tech at Quanico in the Ant case.. with wrecking the sticker outline/adhesive.
They had their closed minds made up too early.. They take the cinderblock and hopefully they have something on it.. matching it though cud be tough if the perp isnt in the system like you said..

I feel LE messed up big time in the initial investigation at the house that night and that’s why they basically put the blame on Misty. They don’t want to admit they messed up. So why not blame Misty because of her lifestyle. So they wasted 9 months of blaming Misty instead of doing their jobs and investigating everyoneand everything. And I feel it’s probably too late to even find out the truth because if Haleigh is no longer with us, she’s long gone. But guess what, isn’t it ironic we have another hurricane on the way months later. We can only hope IF she is no longer with us and is buried somewhere, hopefully she will be unearthed like Caylee was and hopefully there is evidence to find the killer. This is only if she is no longer with us though. JMO

I noticed in apost of yours you may have misunderstood an allegation.. based on what you say above..and if so, its no wonder why you have come to some conclusions..

The important thing, is that when reading your post, you make it sound as though Ron has made this direct threat to Misty, as though he believes she is involved, and on the contrary..he believes her, and says he has consistently from the start.. Fed up: That is a very good point. Ron was stating what would happen ‘if’ Misty was found to be involved. Doesn’t make it any better he pulled the stunt in front of JR or that he has the gun handy, but it does make the threat less imminent in nature. Which is something DCF would look at.
I go back to the theory that Ron and Misty are covering their asses for having drugs in the home the night Haleigh went missing. She was waiting for Ron to get home to call 911 so he could get rid of the drugs first. I also think that it was the intruder that woke Misty. I know I will wake from one of my kids going to the bathroom at night, and it takes me a couple minutes to fully wake and sometimes I don’t know at the time what woke me. this would also explain why she is inconsistent about why exactly she woke that night, she’s just not sure.
My point in my 12:47A.M. remark about Ron demonstrating how he would blow Misty’s teeth out of the back of her neck and then kill himself, was if he found out Misty had anything to do with it. Of course all of this was in front of his little boy. I, also, believe that if TN started saying, to Ron, that she thought Misty had anything to do with it, she might be afraid that it might set Ron off. Ron was threatening to shoot people thru the police car window, the night Haleigh came up missing. He threatened to Cobra, as Cobra told us, to take a gun and force Misty to tell what she knew. He had charges brought against him for beating up Tommy and putting a headless rat in Tommy’s mailbox. I wouldn’t want to say anything wrong about Ronald.
Since, I have said over and over again that I have no definite conclusions about what happened the night Haleigh disappeared, I think that settles the matter of my conclusions. We don’t know enough facts to come to any conclusions.
Since the subject of Ron believing Misty has been brought up, I would like to say that he admitted to Nancy Grace that Misty’s changing stories bothered him. If he totally believed Misty, why would her changing stories bother him?
I think the answer to this situation of “bogus” screen names is easily solved! Instead of posting out here in the “open”, let’s move to the forum, where people have to register for entry. Once registered you need a password to enter and can not do so under an assumed name.
We could “rabbit hole” into the forum once we’ve commented about the article.
We all need to face it, NO ONE in Haleigh’s families want her to come home. They just don’t. What they do want is for all of us to just back-off, go away, go on with our lives….so they can too. It is my personal belief that Haleigh is deceased and most, if not all know it and they just want everyone to forget about her, move on, let them live thier lives. Misty will NEVER come clean, Ron either. They both know that thier actions will cost them thier freedom.

#1.. You ask why the washing machine was full….
My response is that I dont know that the washing machine was full ..LE has never said that..
If infact if the washing machine was full, I think there are easy plausible answers..
First, I wud not think that it is earth shattering for someone to have left already washed clothes in the washer.. (i myslef have seen that.. lol) where someone ,(namely teenagers) have forgotten that they ran a load and it was in there and until I went to use my washer again..low and behold there are already washed clothes that someone did, are now mouldy yuk!! and I have to wash them again with a touch of bleach to kill the mould! It hasnt happened often, but I cud sure see a kid/Misty having that same problem !
Now if there were dirty clothes in the machine, I dont think it is unusual to put your next load in there..ready to go…especially if you are short on time, or even detergent…
So as far as this allegation, Im not sure there is any significance, either… I dont see any cover up ..other than if it is true, I cud see LE being embarrassed for potentially contaminating evidence.
If the machine had cleaned or dirty blankets in there, and LE hung them or threw them on the back steps, all I see is shoddy work on their part… I see nothing in that possibility that should condem/convict the cummings.
I do see where Misty’s honesty, should be noted. It was her, who saw the Tshirt in the dirty clothes pile, and gave it to lE… she didnt have to do that.. hopefully there is touch DNA on it!

NG asked Ron, if it bothers him that there are Allegations, THAT Misty’s story has changed…. He said yes….. and rightly so… On the same show, in the same interview, NG also asked him if she has changed her story of what happened that noght… He said NO…he said the stroy is the same all but a few different words… Thanks again for this example.
It seems silly to use Ron as someone who suggests that Misty has been inconsistent, when Ron has been firm, from day one and continues to be ..that he believes Mistys account and even after they filed for divorce..he hasnt wavered….

My opinion as an avid senior sleuther, is that …now that 9 months have passed, it seems that the odds are better for Misty..interms of showing that she has told the whole truth and nothing but…
The reasons are that too much time has passed for it to be logical that no one has come forward. If infact Misty was out, there wud have been easy evidence to prove that LE has taken cars and if there was evidence that Haleigh was in the vehicle, I wud think that wud have been probable cause against Misty.. Also not only has time passed, but one wud have to think that Misty, or even Misty and a bunch of her friends, dont seem very likely, to be able to have hid all the evidence of a death/murder and disposal…
At this point, it seems more plausible that some unknown perp (whether it be someone known to them or not,) committed this heinouse crime…
I will say, if all these unfounded allegations, were true, I wud prolly think otherwise. When it became obvious how the media was using Misty for profit, I became active in watching listening and doing my own research in getting clarifications and watching every braodcasted interview to see if these unfounded allegations held any water.. There were so many that I was able to discount (like I have done with a couple of them right on this blogsite)it helps prove my suspicion that Misty appears to be hung out to try for 2 reasons and they go hand in hand.. One is for LE to use her as a scapegoat to try and take the responsibility off LE to have solved the case, and the media has facilitated this for ratings which equal $$$. I feel this is why so many notorious ppl have been attracted to the case (like TM) who have similar reasons to have become involved which IMO, has done more damage than good…
Karon… also, as sad as I am to say this, I am of the belief that Haleigh is no longer with us… Even if the “alleged non stranger abduction” was not for the purpose of murder, it seems unlikely that a child with asthma, and chronic susceptibility for serious infections wud have been able to maintain good health without medical care. What I have done is show you why, as well as point out how mnay allegations are unfounded against her, as well as pointing out that a few have written allegations, and have changed the context to make Misty look bad.
I have broken down many unfounded allegations and given explanations.. I have not hear you say one time, that you agree with me tha she may very well be telling al she knows..

On account that Misty said she was outside with the kids, they all cud have been far enough away from the front door, (around the back?) that someone may have snuck in the front door and hid unti they were asleep…
2. It is possible that the front door was accidently unlocked and a perp waked in thru the front door.. (Tommy???) We now know he was there…
3. Someone knocked on the door (Tommy???) and Haleigh woke up, got up, and opened it for him???
4. The backdoor was inadvertantly opened (AC man) and he or anyone for that matter, came back late that night and took Haleigh
5. Joe went to the front door while they all slept, and entered thru an unlocked door, of knocked and Haleigh woke up and let him in?
6. Someone came in thru an open window?
7. Someone who was familiar with the house, who knew the backdoor made noise and auto closed, hid under the MH, where there was a cinder block, and entered thru the bakdoor that was intentionally unlcoked so he cud come in when they were asleep and prop the door so it wudnt close, and he cud quikly run out the opened door as he wud have been holding her…
8. Cud Haleigh have taken off her tshirt and where it was maybe lodged under her arm and when she was snaggeg the tshirt was lifted up with her andthe tshirt fell and it was kicked ther or tossed there by the perp??
9. Cud someone have had a front door key? Did they have spares and one was taken? I know Ron sd he had bought new locks when they moved in… cud he have had a spare lying around for anyone (AC man) or anyone else who was a stranger to them, entered the house for any reason..delivery, fix something, collect rent, sell chocolate bars, and have taken a key… started xcasing out the place, knew the key worked?
There are so many different ways..
An elderly woman was raped in a communty close to where I live, and there was no forced entry… Thankfully the pig didnt kill her… They cudnt figure out he got in, but turned out when she unlocked her side door to enter into her garage, he snuk in the door she exited from (6 feet away) and hid all day till she went to bed…
On account that a cinderblock was used to prop open the bakdoor, it wud seem most likely that it was someone who knew the house and had been in there b4…..

One of two things happened to Haleigh(in my estimation):
Misty changed her out of that pink shirt when she took her to that party at Chad E’s, and forgot her inhaler. She may have had an asthma attack or O’ded on something and died.
Misty was passed out and Haleigh got hold of some of their drugs and died, or she had an asthma attack, while Misty was passed out. Maybe she told Ron that Haleigh got hold of some of his drugs, and that is why Ron helped with the cover-up.
When Ron heard about the party from Nay Nay’s letter and LE drained that pond, he divorced Misty. He was already in too deep because of the cover-up to turn Misty in.
All of the above is just my opinion.

And I think Karon and Polly are merely responding in defense to the arrogant, condescending attack, accusations and insults of the person who started it. In fact, as I’ve said before, that person’s entire approach and tone did more to alienate people to the position he was trying to win them over to than anything else. In fact some people who had already arrived at the same conclusion he/she did were so put off by it that they are not blogging with he/she. Karon: Good God, are you for real? How can you assume anyone doesn’t want Haleigh found? We all do, that is why it is so important to look at all angles.
I feel like if Misty was covering up what happened to Haleigh, there are just too many different things that would have had to fall into place for her to have pulled it off and kept it hidden for so long. And I just can’t bring myself to beleive that Ron was covering for her covering up Haleigh’s death or worse.

I resent the idea that people who have similar theories are automatically grouped together. It is insulting as I have looked at all the info and came to my own conclusions all by myself. In regards to my question directed to Fed about living in a MH: Yes that is a logical question to ask. I have lived in several MH’s and I can tell you first hand that they are not well insulated and have very thin walls. In short, you can hear everything that goes on from one end of the house to the other. To refute Fed’s possible scenarios:

If the perp came through the unlocked front door, then why bother opening the backdoor(hard to open and noisy), take the time to find a cinderblock, prop open the screen door then fetch Haleigh and go out that way? Time consuming, noisy and could potentially awake the adult. Not to mention leaving so much evidence of actually having been there. Wouldn’t you suppose that a kidnapper would try to leave things looking as undisturbed as possible to buy time in order to make a complete getaway?
#3. Why would a perp KNOCK on the door knowing that an adult was at home? Misty could have just as easily gone to the door as well as Jr.
#4. AC man was cleared. How would anyone else know that the backdoor was inadvertently unlocked the very night he/she came to kipnap Haleigh. Unless it was a pyschic pervert.

#6. Why would a window be open in February? 40-50 degrees is pretty chilly, especially with young children in the house. When LE searched the house was an open window noted in the police report? No.
#7. What is the clearence from the ground to the bottom of the MH? The doublewide is underpinned, how could the perp get under the house, then replace the section of the underpinning by himself, it slides in a track. How did the perp know exactly the right time to come out without being seen by anyone? The cinderblocks were not under the house, they were in a pile under some bushes. Why would the backdoor be left unlocked intentionally? If that were the case, then why waste time hiding under the house for hours? Did LE find any evidence someone was hiding under the house? No.
#8. Then the pink shirt would have either; a) been in the dryer with the other dirty clothes, or b). left in Haleigh’s bedding
#9. AC guy cleared, Ron did not report any keys missing and how did the perp figure out the key worked? He could have easily been caught testing the key, how did he even know it was a key to that house?
Are your arguments possible? Well, yes, anything is possible. Little Green Men could come down in a spaceship and give me 50 million dollars, is that PROBABLE? Most likely not.
I think your scenarios are highly improbable. Maybe you should stop watching CSI.

I did tell LE my opinion.. I am not certainly not ashamed of it. It was in that call that I found out how the landfill was checked …if you want to call it “checked”. I was appalled when i found out that LE didnt go there till Feb 14, and that they didnt even chek the landfill, just the trucks that had done their residential pick up. I too, hope LE is reading… I hope they are reading all the blogs.. I believe they prolly do. Creative thinking and effective brainstroming cud possibly give them ideas.. First, I would like to thank Simon and Jan for all the hard work they put in to this site and radio show so that we can all join together and post our own different theories and opinions in the quest for finding a beautiful little girl named Haleigh. Not to mention TJ Hart, who has done a wonderful job keeping us all informed! Thanks to all!
I have watched all this unravel for weeks now, and I just want to say that I feel we are ALL here with one common bond, and that is to try to find the answers to what happened to this beautiful child. Of course, we are all different, and have different thoughts, ideas, and opinions, and I respect each and every person’s opinions who post here! Whether they are the same as my own or whether they differ, they are all important in my eyes to read because different theories may enable one to see other scenarios on what could have really happened in this case. There was a time when I felt Misty was definitely involved, but after reading every single day, I have found myself seeing other possibilities, and I’m personally thankful for the insight brought here by so many wonderful people who come here for the same purpose.
I think every poster here brings something new and good to the table and every post is food for thought. I’ve gone back and forth on who and what I think may have happened, but am always glad to come here and get insight from this site, even when some post things that may not be the popular opinion. We need to think about ALL the aspects of this case and ALL the possibilities of what may have happened, and wish this could be done without animosity toward those whose opinions differ from our own.
This is a wonderful site and I have been reading here daily from the beginning. I just hate to see the bickering/name calling/personal attacks, because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and none of us really know what happened on that horrible night. The more theories we have, the more we can work together to come up with the truth. The truth is all that’s important, and not necessarily who makes certain posts. I would love to see this site come together as a “team” of concerned people who can work together without the “running people off” mindset. It takes a village. If I have brown eyes and you have blue eyes, does that make me wrong and you right? Or you wrong and me right.. Just because we’re different in some way? Let’s move past the high school mentality and try to work together for little Haleigh and the TRUTH! You are ALL wonderful people and should be commended on your posts and hard work. Let’s bring Haleigh home, one way or another and leave the hard feelings at the door. We can get a lot further by working together and being more open minded to other possibilities/thoughts than trying to run people off this wonderful site. The more minds we have working together, the more progress we can make as a team.
Again, I respect each and every one of you, and almost feel I know you on a personal level after reading for so long. I am just afraid it’s going in the wrong direction with the animosity, and we can do so much more good if we all just agree to disagree and at least try to consider each and every possible theory of what might have happened to Haleigh. The poster at the root of the debacle on this thread claims to be the only one on this site with an “open-mind,” and even more ridiculous, to have the opinion that Misty might not be involved. That’s been discussed on this board for months! I’ve always thought it was possible that Misty was not involved and I’ve blogged (and written to officials) to look at a stranger abduction for months. But this poster will not recognize that.
We are not interested in hearing that we’re do-nothing bloggers and dumb blind sheep following biased articles. We are not interested in hearing how “respectful and professional” that poster is deluded enough to think he/she is.
There are a lot of people here who have discussed the stranger abduction theory and believe it could have happened that way. This is not a NEW idea as claimed by this poster.
But absolutely NOTHING posted to the contrary is ever recognized. We do not appreciate being “talked down to” and our responses ignored.It’s like an old-fashioned record with the needle stuck in one place.
The key to “getting along” is (1) post your opinion without putting others down and leave or (2) post the same kind of comment and actually read the responses, recognize that you’re off-base, correct direction and go from there.
But constantly droning on that “I’m the only one who thinks the sky is blue” and “you’re stupid for not seeing that” when you’ve been told a dozen times that many of us already thought the sky is blue is twisted. Something is very very wrong with that. And the heighth of irony is that this person claims to want to convince others of his/her theory in order to band people together to have the clout to change things when all he did was alienate people who were already of the same opinion (and most everybody else to).
There is an “art” to blogging and it is as much reading and comprehending as writing. There is no point in bloggin with someone who cannot do that.

I agree with everything you said. I too have read on this site for quite awhile. I started reading during the Caylee Anthony case. I didnt blog, I just read and mostly agreed with everyone. The gist of what was being written was/is my belief also.
I ended up posting here on this case bak in September. I think it was late sep but around then anyway.

The awful thing is she is getting hate mail. I think most people are being supportive, but some are being really mean, blaming her with Somer’s death. One man sent her a letter saying she should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Im just wondering what your opinion on Chad Reynolds is. I was disappointed with LE saying that he has been ruled out so early. The article I will provide a link too, is dated Feb 14, 09 and the quote states LE has interviewed, and ruled out all 44 RSO in the area. Of course it was only much later, that we found out that Chad Reynolds had NEVER been interviewed, infact has never even been found.
A misquote from the article (Fox News) wouldnt surprise me as we have seen so much of that. I I believe the sensationalism started by KC Anthony suspected and charged with Caylee’s Demise. Anthonys crime being committed so close to this crime taking place, sometimes weak ppl, go for the story, and put everyone in the same boat. Hence, suspecting Misty for not a lot of good reasons.
As far as Reynolds we do know that since that artickle ran, bak in Feb, we have heard them say that they dont think he is connected..
Strange how they can rule him out… This leads me to believe that LE are really narrow minded, or they collected some physical evidence (prints or DNA, maybe from the cinderblock, or tshirt) where they have been able to rule him out by such.
If its the latter, then we can safely assume that the evidence did not belong to any RSO, and cud be a new ped, that is still out there, never wandering.
I pray that they do have DNA or prints and will be able to keep cheking their data base where hopefully, this perp will be caught. On account that LE has made no arrests for probable cause, is indicative that they do infact have some evidence.

There was a very sad case in Canada where a little girl was playing outside with her friends in braod daylight. She lived in low rentals with her mother and her uncle.
A ped snatched her assaulted and strangled her, and they found her remains weeks later.
The public immediately crucified the mother and hung the uncle, out to dry…
It was 10 yrs later, that an arrest was made and turned out that LE was able to extract DNA from her remains, and had it all along, yet THEY NEVER TOLD THE PUBLIC. They let the family rot, where ppl were absolutley horrible to that family.
When the pig was caught 10 yrs later, LE had the audacity to say NO APOLOGY was necessary, as they can never compromise a case, and the uncle did fail the POLY…. That was their excuse. Needless to say, the pig was totally unrelated to the family and hapened to be in the neighborhood, scopping it out for a vulnerable child.
In Canada, unfortunaltely there is no Death Penalty, and the guy that was later charged, only deserves to die!
I see the same possibilty with Ron and Misty..they may be victims just like this family. Such a sad story where ppl faced an unbelieveable tragic loss, that most of us cant even imagine. Too think that they had to be hated by society on top of this is far too big to even imagine.

Drugs in the home, a missing child. Why weren’t these children removed immediately? Druggies can’t care for kids, they’re too self involved.

Hi, Polly and Karon! Yes, I’m afraid that sicko has done what he wanted and ditched her OR handed her off to another sicko. Either way the chance of her being alive is very slim.
We HAVE to keep track of this and be sure to demand that her mother get LWOP (and the sicko, too). I’d go for the DP but don’t know what the laws are there and sometimes it’s harder to get DP so I’d be okay with LWOP IF it REALLY means without a new bunch of pansy parole board members second-guessing the original judge and jury 20 years down the road. This woman does not deserve to see freedom of any kind ever again. IMO

I just saw that. How can a MOTHER do that to her own child? It has to be the drugs. Look at all the cases we’ve seen lately involving missing children, Haleigh, Shannon and now Shaniya - the common denominator? Drug use by the parents/caregivers.

To the few of you who feel the need to hate on a young girl, (Misty Croslin,) TJ has a written an article and looks as if it was written just for you…
He talks about ppl on the internet hating potential victims of crime. The Cummings and Thompsons are mentioned in his article as examples. Clearly, Shaniya’s mother wud not fall in this category on account that she has been arrested so it is prolly safe to assume that there is EVIDENCE to support their arrest, thus her guilt.
On the other hand, where there isnt evidence, (like in the Cummings case) it may be an idea to read his article. You may learn your efforts are part of the problem. How can spreading hate, be part of the solution?

I have also been interested in Robbie Middleton, the highschool sweetheart of Crystal’s. His brother works out of the prosecutor’s office there in Satsuma and might have some connections, there. Maybe that is why this case has never been solved.
I have never believed Misty was the killer type, and I have always believed if Haleigh was dead, it was an accident, or an asthma attack.
Cobra said one of the scenarios he believes is likely is that this is an accidental death and that Ron is as much a liar as Misty is. I think that since Teresa Neves works as a dispatcher (even if it’s in another county) LE is reluctant to persue this agressively.

I agree that Misty is the only viable suspect left, I also believe that Ron knows everything but if he tells he’ll lose Jr. Watch the raw video on Jax4, I believe it’s something like “Ron’s First Plea”. Notice how he acts like he’s grieving, not like he has any hope of finding Haleigh, then he says “All I want is my children.” and “I’d give my life for my daughter’s life back.” His daughter’s LIFE back? What does that mean?
As far as the benefit concert, well whatever their motives, at least Crystal and Marie tried to do something, unlike Ron who has been walking around Satsuma with his hand in every donation jar, buying beer, cigarettes and tatoos and demanding free food from restaurants.
I wonder if the Putnam County “Drug Lords” threatened LE in any way.

That is a thought about the drug lords threatening LE. There is no telling who is on the take in that town. There is just way too much crime and drugs in one tiny place. When they do put them in jail, they just turn them loose. Something is going on in Satsuma that we don’t know about.

As far as Haleigh is concerned, they need to search every conservaton area within an hour or so driving distance. Especially Mike Roess Park.
Another thing, not to take anything away from Cobra, and I understand about his legal troubles down there, but I thought he would be a little more tenacious. Somebody must have threatened Cobra’s family, same could be said for Tim Miller.
It’s time for PCSO to give it up and let the Untouchables handle this.

LE wants Cobra out of there, and if he crosses them, he will go to prison on the charges they set him up for. He will go away for a long time. Something strange is going on in Satsuma law department. This has ruined Cobra financially, already, and he may go to prison, yet, over all of this.
I have watched Tim Miller on a number of cases, now, and he gets tempermental; but he comes back. He lost a daughter, and police wouldn’t believe him, that she didn’t just run away, and he went thru alot. That is why he went into trying to help people find their children. What is frustrating Tim is that the families are playing such games, and he doesn’t feel wanted by LE or some of the family, there. He is not one to push his way in. Also, Florida is a place where a person can get rid of a child very easily, and they never will be found. There are so many swampy drainage ditches, thick brush, and ponds there. Children disappear there, and you can’t count on them ever being found.
This concert and Tim meeting and talking with the Scheffield’s will, most likely, get Tim
back there, but I am not holding my breath that he will find anything.
I think the best we can hope for is some of the family has her hid out, and, someday, she might show up. The only other hope is, someday, someone knowing something ,may speak up to make a deal with LE.
If she is dead, I don’t look for Tim to find her, even, if he does come back, and I think he knows that.
It seems logical to think that if anyone knew anything, they wud have spolen up long before now…. Cant see anymore time being advantagous. How Haleigh cud be hidden by all known ppl/family from LE and the rest of the world seems impossible by all accounts.
Its unfortunate that LE has looked no where other than the family where clearly no answers have been provided, prolly because there arent any to give. The fact that so much time has elapsed where nothing has been found to discount Misty’s story, is evidence in itself that Misty has proll told all she knows..
Hopefully, thete is evidence like DNA and/or prints, that will someday be entered into the CODIS. Hopefully this day will be sooner, than later…

the police stood there and watched. so they did not have questions about the legality of what he was doing at the time he was arresting sndgrs. and when bill was told to take sndgrs back home, he immediately did.
it sure screams set-up or excuse to get rid of bill. i believe if le had made it clear to bill he had to go, he would have gone. so it has to be someone up higher?
i am so worried about bill. i do pray for justice for him. so far this is what we ended up with. no haleigh, and bill staubs is the one with his life turned upside down. it does not seem real! ms.p.

LE agencies seem to be very territorial, which is such a shame. With sustained cooperation, egos aside, many more cases could be solved.
Look at the Caylee case, LE did a half-a**ed search of the lot where Caylee was eventually found.
It is my belief that since the cadaver dogs hit on the dumpster:
1. Haleigh is probably deceased
2. Her remains were moved
Then you have Misty going on about the van with the scratch and about her blanket missing.
Look on Google Maps, Murphy Conservation Area is just off Buffalo Bluff Road.
I think Bill was set up due to jealousy on LE’s part, you know “This is our case, so butt out.”

The article does an interview with Cobra, where he says the charges are for false imprisonment, as when he apprehended someone out on bail, the insurance company told him not too when he was halfway thru apprehending the subject (throwing him to the ground and cuffing him) They told him to release the subject and he felt his licensed authority of his profession, cud do so, as he felt necessary..
What I find heartbreaking about this case, is that so many different professions let Haleigh down, its hard to pinpoint which was more damaging..the media, or the lawyers, pi’s and ppl finders…
If one looks bak at this case from about day 3, it becomes evident that many were looking at this case in the same light as the Anthony case for only 1 purpose…..$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I cant see LE pressing charges without good evidence. Its evidence that leads to arrests…. Lady Justice is blind so the outcome should tell the tale…

Cobra could face up to 5 yrs. in prison, but he is hoping they will drop the charges when he goes before the court in 3 weeks.
I don’t know what all the charges were, something like kidnapping, because they said he didn’t have the proper authority to arrest Snodgrass. He thought he had everything in order when he arrested the man. I think he was set up. Some people in that town wanted to get him out of there. He was, probably, getting too close.

Cobra sd the charges were false imprisonment. It is too unbleievable that LE wud actually stop a crime from being solved.
We have seen corruption within LE agencies in a few bigger cities…, but there is no known history of corruption there. The internet, wud have stories somewhere, and I cant find 1…
I have looked for anything to do with that office, and there is nothing indicative of any corruption..
I think LE dropped the ball big time, lack of experience vs. malice/corruption, but to infer that they dont want the crime solved ???? that might be stretching it just a tad.

Also, LE have been known to trick ppl with telling them they failed a apoly in hopes to make them finally tell the truth..
Seems like Misty is prolly telling the truth as clearly has tried to help LE and cooperate and even kept going bak for more tests. time and again..
Hopefully Le can look beyond Misty and Ron, as looks like they are wasting time. It is looking like the type of crime that has been committed, may have been the kind where the perp has taken the child right out of her…

it looks like, shaniya has paid the ultimate price for the decisions her parents made concerning her care. and everyone who loves and cares about shaniya, is also going to be living with the knowdledge of her torture and her death for the rest of their lives.
i hope the media never lets up on shaniya’s story! i hope they uncover every detail! i hope the whole truth about what happened to this precious girl is told! we need to understand why no one took the extra step that could have prevented any further abuse and saved her life. obviously some people cared and wanted to help. so what happened?
on top of everything else, a.d. is suppose to be pregnant and has a son? i believe b.l. has at least three other children. i hope their other children are all alright.

It is a bloody shame how drugs ruin peoples lives and their children’s lives are turned into a living hell or worse, they don’t even make it. I don’t know what our DCS is doing, anymore. They leave children in these homes, knowing they are in danger, while they give these parents chance after chance.
One thing I don’t trust around me is a person on drugs, because they aren’t themselve, anymore. Their brain chemicals are so altered that they will do things that they wouldn’t ever have done before.
Something has got to be done to protect our children from drug addicts and perverts. I have been following the little Somer Thompson case. They are not sure, but they think a pervert killed her. I hope they find who did it.

I also hope that likely evidence on Somer’s remains will leave the clues necessary to catch who ever did this. Unlike Haleigh, they found Somer very quickly, and unfortunately it was too late. Had they found Haleigh (alive is what we pray for) her evidence wud speak volumes too. If and when they find her, hopefully the clues will speak for her to.

I enjoy your posts and although i have seen these terms, I havent seen you use them before today. I have only been here prolly 2 months max and only blog on the Haleigh blogs..I do like the other articles and like to read Y & R, especially, however havent commented on them.
In order to not discriminate against fellow bloggers, I am wondering if these terms are used to call other bloggers names??? I wud hope not, and wud expect reputable crime sites to avoid having nicknames for ppl, who have adverse opinions.. I have also read about ppl stealing other members identities and have seen jann write about trying to resolve the problem. It is unfortunate that this type of childish behavior provides “stimulation” to some, and Im glad that she has been able to stay on top of it and thank her for trying to keep her site clean.

And Karon, you are so right about people on drugs. Drugs make the abuser so incredibly selfish. There is no way an addict could adequately care for a child/children. I know this firsthand since my aunt was and remains an addict. My cousins had it extremely rough as they were growing up, their mother was abusive, their father was a molester, there were times when they had nothing to eat and nowhere to live. I know for a fact their father was a perv because he molested me, his own daughter and another of our cousins. Eventually I helped have him locked up, he maybe served 5 years then was paroled. I hope his gonads fall off!
I didn’t mean to go on so, I’ve hardly ever told anyone and our family does not speak of this.

I think the Somer Thompson case will go alot smoother than Haleigh’s case, because the body was found so soon.
I don’t think the cases were related, but that is just because they were very different in the way they were carried out. I will be surprised if they are related.
I think the only way we are going to get on top of some of these child predator cases is to put these molesters away for a long time.
I believe Somer’s case will be solved before long.

i am so sorry about what happened to you. i am glad your uncle got locked up. but for only five years, that is so wrong! i hope that his having a record helps protect others from his abuse.
i had really hoped to contribute to the forum, too. i started looking at videos and articles, but, i did not really organize them into a useful post. now, i am all over the place. trying to learn about missing children, about child prostitution, about laws concerning locking up dangerous people longer.
i need to figure out what the heck i am doing.
on top of that i am going on vacation to be with family for a couple of weeks. after that i am going to work on some major home projects.

BAUER: The police are calling Chad Reynolds a sexual predator, Nancy, and he`s missing out of Marion County, which is the county just below Putnam here. He apparently, we`re hearing, failed to check in with his probation officer, and he was reported missing at the beginning of this month. Forgive me, but I believe it was February 3rd. Police have not been able to locate him since.
We did ask investigators about him, whether they`re concerned, whether they`re trying actively right now to locate him, and detectives here on this case tell us, at this point, he is not a person of interest, but of course they are actively trying to locate him. There is a warrant out for his arrest and they do want to talk to him. Again, he is considered a sexual predator, missing out of Marion County, which is one county south of Putnam County, which is where we are right now.
GRACE: You know, I`m noticing that the incident back in 2002 took place in Putnam County. It dealt with breaking into a trailer — I`m looking right at the police report in my hand — in the middle of the night to molest an 11-year-old little girl sleeping in her bed. Sounds extremely familiar.

Our Thanksgiving is celebrated in October. Although it is a big holiday here, it isnt as big as the U.S Thanksgiving. I know this as
Y & R isnt shown (darn!!) during your holiday, as compared to ours where most of the malls and stores are open. We do have turkey though…lol but our Xmas, tends to be the biggest holiday of the year!!!!
