If a scary movie is all about making you jump, that’s just stupid.  Anything can make you jump, so that doesn’t take intelligence or anything else other than an understanding of timing.  I went to a haunted house last week for Halloween, a huge one that took up an entire warehouse building along with numerous outlying buildings.  I laughed most of the way through it, but I was still on edge for the whole thing.  But a horror movie that wants to just creep you out through depravity is a real treat.  Now a movie that manages to capture part of that is ready for you to bring home today!

Starting this October 20th, now available on Blu-ray Disc from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment comes the third movie in a series that just wants to scare you more than anything else you’ve ever seen.  Wrong Turn 3 – Left For Dead – Unrated – Blu-ray Disc is ready to come screaming out of your television screen and leave your entire living room trembling with fear and the twisted otherness of this film.  Bring home this gore and horror fest today!

As the previous two movies in this series have taught all of us, Three Fingers and the rest of his family are a bunch of psychotic, truly deranged cannibals who love to kill and eat human beings.  Luck bring them a bunch of campers, unaware of the dangers of this particular stand of forest.  This unlucky and highly attractive group of co-eds make some sexy and gory meals for this sick family.  But then things take a turn for the strange, even for this film franchise.  A prison transport bus loses some of their cargo and so some of the most vicious and deadly killers in America are now roaming those same woods.  When the inevitable showdown comes, which bloodthirsty crew will walk away victorious?

The special features included in this Blu-ray Disc are a look behind the scenes at the making of this movie, a featurette about Three Fingers, a look at brothers in blood and a selection of deleted scenes.

Although I know I have watched the first two movies in this series, I remember not one thing about them.  It wasn’t until I watched this particular movie that I remembered the basic slasher plot of the movies and the fact that they starred Three Fingers.  This version claims to be unrated and is said to include some footage that was deemed too gory for the theaters.  After watching it, I am forced to agree that this is correct without a doubt.  It is a very enjoyable movie, even if horror movies tend to scare you a little more than it’s cool to admit.  The showdowns towards the end of the movie are delightful and completely worth waiting for, so bring home this movie today in high definition!

At least the gore is Dead on in this new movie.

This Blu-ray Disc is available at Amazon.com.
