More information has come into the 97.3 The Sky’s news room regarding a possible missed clue in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.
As it turns out, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office investigated the claim that very day the tape you heard in Part 1 was recorded which was March 31, 2009.
The claims made by Misty Saunders to Private Investigator William “Cobra” Staubs indicated she believed her step father, accused capital sex offender Daniel Snodgrass, had something to do with Haleigh Cummings disappearance. Saunders believes Snodgrass might have dismembered and killed children in a shed on the property owned by her mother.
Sources close to the investigation reported to the Sky under the condition of anonymity Monday that “Putnam County investigators looked into this claim and there was nothing to it. They did not find any evidence to indicate that Mr. Snodgrass had anything to do with this. Deputies looked at him as with many other offenders, and didn’t find anything there.”
These same source also say the investigation into the shed and its findings of blood splatters were consistent with that of someone who brought in hunted animals to the shed to clean like deer or wild turkeys.
The tools found in the shed were also consistent with the cleaning of dead animals.
In a later conversation with Staubs Monday, he stated he was present when sheriff’s deputies arrived and swabbed the sheds. He claims he asked for a more detailed search.
As each investigator reviews the clues and interviews in Haleigh’s abduction, there is that hope that something new will pop and the child will be found. However, this appears this is another dead end in long the search for Haleigh.
Haleigh is described as a now 6-year-old white female. She is approximately 3′0, 39 lbs, blonde hair & brown eyes. Unknown clothing description.
Haleigh was last seen at her residence in the Hermit’s Cove area of Putnam County on February 9, 2009 between the hours of 8-10pm.
A statewide Amber Alert has been issued. An additional $30,000 in rewards have been posted.

Snodgrass is accused of tying the 9-year-old to a bed and sexually abusing her. He is also accused of having the two girls pose for photographs in lingerie and of fondling the older sister through her clothing.
Only those that are convicted are put on the offenders list. Snodgrass has not been convicted as of yet.

No, the problem is with the chronic baseless, knee-jerk assumptions people make about LE failing to properly investigate. Time after time, we hear about a lead or a tip tossed aside by LE, and it is posters like you that automatically assume that the cops have failed to follow obvious protocol. Nowhere in TJ’s story does it state that LE did not send the blood to a lab, or maybe even have other evidence or witnesses there that completely refuted Ms. Saunders’ version of events. Yet like clockwork, you have worked yourself up into a tizzy, dissecting the inability of humans to differentiate between types of blood or blood splatters, and blasting LE for failing to have the evidence analyzed.
Do you have any information whatsoever that it wasn’t sent to a lab, JJ? No, you don’t. In fact, the little we do know would lead most to believe that they did have the blood analyzed. Ya think that they “swabbed” the blood evidence for nothin’, JJ? Ya think they just threw that red tinged swab out the window of their car, JJ? Geez, relax!
There’s absolutely nothing in TJ’s story that even remotely suggested that LE failed to properly investigate this tip. There is no information whatsoever informing us of the procedures that were followed, or how many witnesses were questioned about this. Instead, it makes you feel better to be outraged, and outright assume that no procedures whatsoever were followed to find Haleigh.
What is worse, is that other posters stand behind you, now similarly outraged by LE’s manufactured omissions! And the dance goes on, and on, and on, and on…
These types of ridiculous outcries by the completely uninformed, finger pointers have essentially caused most of us to have LESS facts, rather than more, in this case. Instead of requesting TJ to ask LE if the blood was actually sent to the lab, many will only hear 100+ comments of gawkers taken aback by LE’s incompetency over not taking the blood to the lab! (shaking my head) They will assume that LE just came out there, spoke with Ms. Saunders, then nonchalantly assumed that blood spatters were from an animal. In two weeks, these ridiculous assumptions by the uninformed will be regurgitated as FACTS in the Haleigh Case.

Please google proper techniques in collection of dried blood evidence. You are again, flat wrong. And yet again, you’d need to ASK A FEW QUESTIONS before having the ability to form an opinion as to whether swabbing the dried blood was the best idea. What was the shed made of? If wood, swabbing the dried blood or stain with a sterile wet swab or cotton ball is proper protocol. Or, take the entire piece of wood to the lab , if possible, so that the lab can SWAB the dried blood from the wood.
If it was a smooth surface, scraping the dried blood for collection is the most accepted technique.
And the beat goes on, and on, and on, and on….
Talk to detectives in your home town or city about this case and you’ll probably hear them express disbelief that it hasn’t been solved yet, for the main reason there have been more than the usual number of people willing to talk to police. With all the people talking, the case should have already been solved.
Eye Roll, it’s no use to try to change their minds. They have no clue about LE except maybe watching the CSI show and solving cases within the hour.
In order to find Haleigh LE has to wade through all the muck, all the lies and all the dead beat family members. It’s not a quick process. LE ALWAYS holds stuff back. So many cry that they have nothing. They KNOW who’s involved, who passed polys and other pertinent information. FBI has an agent working on the case and you say why only one. There’s only one because they already know.

Daniel Snodgrass, 54, faces possible life in prison (or death) if convicted of capital sexual battery on a child under 12 and lewd and lascivious molestation.
His alleged victims are a 9 year-old girl and her 16 year-old sister whose father brought them to his (Snodgrass) home for unicycle lessons.
In addition Daniel Snodgrass is also accused of sexually abusing the 9 year-old girl after tying her to a bed and taking pictures of the child and her 16 year-old sister dressed in lingerie he selected for them to model. To date it is unknown if pictures of the two children were ever distributed.
When Snodgrass was asked about the sexual assault charges against him. He claimed he should be given a polygraph test because he was being “set up” by the girls, their father and his (Snodgrass’) ex-wife.

Yeah Deecee, thats a point I think alot are missing out on. Why would they ins. agent who underwrote the bondalert the potential perpetrator unless Staubs was getting close to something they didnt want let out. I beleive I heard that it was illegal to have a felon working at the bail bondsamn office which i beleive the idiot was. Maybe they were covering their arses on that point. If working there then he was probably closer with them than thought and knew some inside information about the office that was not so nice.
The girl makes an accusation on the tape about Snotweed being featured on 20/20 as someone who got away with murder before. Wouldn,t suprise me but I want proof. While Snodgrass is not yet convicted of the offense he is on bond for, has he been convicted before this offense? Could terms of a bond prevent a person from possessing a weapon?
I really have no idea if this POS is involved in Haleigh’s disappearance.
Although I have no proof, my theory has been that Misty is responsible for whatever happened to Haleigh and it was most likely unintentional. :`(

CHIPLEY, Fla. (AP) — A 7-month-old infant has gone missing from her home in a small town in the Florida Panhandle.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that Shannon Dedrick disappeared sometime between 3 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday from her home in Chipley, about 80 miles northwest of Tallahassee.
Since then, about 75 search and rescue workers from three counties have scoured the surrounding area. They were joined by K-9 teams and volunteers in a 14-hour search beginning late Saturday morning, and continued nonstop since 7 a.m. on Sunday.
The arm-to-arm search has covered a half-mile radius of Shannon’s home, and deputies are expanding the area each hour.
Shannon was described as 24 inches long and 11 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
I am also in Florida, I cant believe every time I turn around another child goes missing in florida. This has gone crazy here something needs to be done. This is very sad and I pray that these children are found soon.

Individuals in LE get bought and bribed and blackmailed, run entire drug ops themselves or protect drug ops, get involved in drugs, and even have high up connections and/or high up people to cover up for. Just yesterday, Simon talked about a pattern of lulls by PCSO, for instance the plea on Haleigh’s birthday for people to come forward with any information they had about where Misty was the evening before Haleigh was reported missing.
Simon/TJ/Cobra probably discussed the release of Cobra’s audio recording with Sondgrass’s step-daughter yesterday, or earlier.
Why not release it months ago? Why wait for a lull in information from the police?
Hoping to get a reaction from police?
If so, I hope it results in police high tailing their behinds back over to those sheds and doing some REAL investigating.
For starters, they need to have the ‘tools’ and blood splatters analyzed.

It seems highly unlikely that LE wud take a swab of blood, and not have an easy analysis done to determine if it is infact animal or human…. (The same test they wud have done on the van, early on, that had the blood from a deer had also been tested)

We also must remember that we dont know that any of trhis ever took place… It is alleged only… from a “source”
I hope Snod has been thoroughly investigated and hopefully he has an airtight alibi.. If not, his residence and accessible vehicles should be checked as well…

I read an interview, that was posted on Apr 3, 08 and you were quoted as saying that the police noted that the washing machine was running when police arrived at the Cummings at 3:34AM on Feb 10….
this is not noted in the police report and I talked to Lt Johnny Greenwood today @ PCSO, and he confirmed that he never said any such thing…
Can you advise if you were misqupoted?? I later saw a transcript of a radio show where you say that you dont know if the machine was running, which was after Apr 3, 08 and you sound as though you had never heard the allegation before?????

I have spent some valuable time trying to determine fact and fiction, and this particular allegation seems to have originated during this interview that i am referring too, and it is just hitting the blogsites now as a girl from Assc Content created an article in mid september, and refers to your quoted allegation. Im not sure if you have seen the hype about this allegation, and if it were true.. obvioulsy I suspect we wud have heard about it bak in Feb… I have cheked high and low and see that it looks as though this “quote” was the origin. In Sep, a contributer picked it up and ran with it and it now making its way around..

Also I live just 50 miles from Chipley FL. I have not yet read the article about the missing 7 month old but I can tell you right now, it ain’t good! Chipley is as small as Satsuma and I don’t think they have had a kidnapping or murder EVER! I will also evote some time to this case as well.

What shall we talk about? Just Haleigh’s description and Justice for Haleigh? Should we all just stop trying to find this little girl? Should we all just shut up totally and go away and move on with our lives, the way her OWN families have done? Should we stop trying to find correlations between persons and thier behaviors that might suggest they either have something to hide or may even be guilty? LE looks at and questions ALL of the things and people that we are looking at….why is it wrong for us to try to help out? You mentioned 2really sad cases.. Although Jon Bonets murderer has not been caught (yet) the great news is that touch DNA was extracted and they have a profile.. (this also led to both Mr. and Mrs being exonerated!)
Also, on accout that Jon Bot remains were there.. the physical evidnce left behind was a blessing as well as the fact that they cud bury her…
As far as wonderful John Walsh.. although he had many many years of unanswered questions… he was fianlyy relieved to hear that sick Otis, gave a deathbed confession, and LE had bee right for so long about this suspect… Although, the perp was already put to death John, knows who did this and he knows who did this and he has son’s gravside to visit..
Haleigh.. poor Haleigh.. there is nothing ..no leads, no remains, no credible sightings… just nothing but a whacked out community and too many ppl having a hand in the pot and pretty well obstructing justice … at least some..not to mention any names..
In cases where we have documnetation like KC’s we can read for ourselves and see and hear the lies and watch her family do the same thing..all at Caylee’s expense and to sacrifice justice for her..
In Haleighs case it is much different as we have basically nothing….. The one perosn that has been accused and singled out has endured far too many runours and why?? There is no way there is enough legitimate reasons to believe beyond a reasonable doubt that she is lying, or had anythnig to do with this nightmare…
Why dont we spend time going bak from the start, and weeding out the fact from fiction.. That wud be a lengthy process and maybe by the time we get it sorted out, Haleigh will be home !!!
Haleigh’s retunr to home is prolly really widhful thinking, however maybe her remains will be found by then.. I for one done think she is stil her earth… I am confidant that she will be found, and hopefully sooner than later.. Once she is found, I suspect there will be evidenc left behind where it will tell us exactly who did this and who can be sentenced to death for their horrific crime against a mere baby….
Also, we can talk about where Haleigh may be.. I wudnt be surpried if she was in the landfil…. I understand that the garbage from that area is picked up every 4 days and on Feb 14, all the trucks that were lined up to go and dump their loads were thoroughly checked…. The trucks and dumpsters were checked but according to what Lt Johnny Greenwood told me today, the landfill itself was not checked out.. I posed the question of what if someone brought her here there on their own and not in a truck??? He said that the landfill is 28 miles from where Haleigh was taken from and I pointed out that little Somer was actaully 48 miles away and in a diff state….. Anyways.. maybe we can talk about this.. what are your feelings about this..
Also, I do really want a response from Cobra as to whether or not he was misquoted.. If he was it should be rescinded…

Having come from a background in childhood that placed me among girls who had families like this (my parents were raging alcoholics) - I want to let you know this - Men who look at young girls (or boys) with sex on their mind do not discriminate. Everyone is fair game. It is open season on unsupervised children by a man who wants to take part in sex acts with a child. They only have one thing to do - find them alone for a long enough period of time to do the job.
And that includes oral sex, penetation in evry orifice they can freakn get their pencil in (yes pencil because there are men ut there that have anatomical variants - extremely small penises and that is what the penis looks like - a pencil). No one ever mentions this but it is a fact.
My friend’s uncle made her give him blow jobs, fast and rough, “bite me and I will break your arm, cry and I will kill your brother” and then quickly onto the next event - like it never happened and is never discussed NEVER DISCUSSED. The sorry excuses of parents Haleigh should realize this.
And one other thing - when a woman has been sexually assaulted as a child - as an adult, there is a very high probability that she finds that acceptable in that bizarre world where white trash reside. With regard to slaughter houses - who the hell does thatanymore? Do they have deer burgers in the freezer?
And how do you KNOW that the blood from a wild animal has not been placed over the blood of a human, saturating it into oblivion - this case is just a nightmare and I want to tell children everywhere WE ARE SO SORRY YOU HAD TO KNOW THIS PAIN IN A 1ST WORLD - THE LAND OF PLENTY where all your parents can think to do is fk and do drugs, the kids of the father of the moment get all the love, the rest of the kids are as disposable as they diapers people like this leave all over national parks.
Thanks for your response Fed. While John and Reve Walsh know who thier son’s killer was, unfortunately Otis Toole died before he could disclose where Adam’s remains were. He claimed he would tell John on his deathbed, but was kept from doing so by the prision Warden where he was incarcerated. John Walsh was not notified of his death until days later.
I sooo agree with the “weeding out” issue. That’s why I have been posting continually about the forum database several of us have been working on here. I do agree that if there was a misquote, it should be cleared up right now.
I also agree that someone may have took her to the dump themselves prior to the dump search. It almost makes sense. Someone may have placed her in the dumpster, then realized it was too easy to find, had the idea to take her to dump themselves since she would be much harder to find. However, since there are sooo many areas one could “stash” the remains in Satsuma I have some doubts as to the dump theory, but would be willing to investigate it further if possible.
Any interest in the Shannon Dedrick case? The missing 7 month old from Chipley FL? It is a very simular case in that a female child was reported to be taken from a trailer, off the beaten path, in a rural community much like Satsuma, in the middle of the night, with someone sleeping in the same room. (2 people actually). Occured Oct 30 between 1:00 am - 11:00 am Oct 31. A neighbor reported a van being seen on thier long driveway that was out of the ordinary at approx 2 am that same night.
Jan wrote an article about it and I dig up quite a bit of info and posted it and pic in the comments. I’m wondering about a copy-cat situation. Either the abduction a copy-cat of Haleigh (possibly connected?) or a parental copy-cat. Maybe even a copy-catter from Satsuma to take heat off of Misty & Co.

It seems like LE would investigate Snodgrass and double check the blood spatters since they went to the trouble to dig up Crystal’s family’s farm. (just to be sure, they said) He seems much more likely a suspect than the maternal grandparent.

I just wanted to mention, there is a really good old book called “How Green Was My Valley” and in it there is the story of what happened in a small village in Wales when a child went missing. The men got together and every house was searched — there was no such thing as refusing to be searched. Well, you ought to read what happened. Some old-timers I used to know would have said, That’s acting like “white people.” Today, I think we’d say “human beings.”

It looks like we’re at war here, and we’d better find a way to help our law enforcement better (and in some cases nip corruption in the bud), or go back to the “old ways,” I guess. I was listening to the audio recording in Part 1 of this blog and I thought I caught the woman saying that the guy in question had thousand of pictures of women in his possession in –what was the term? was it risque’ poses? (I couldn’t hear that part real well.) You have to wonder if there is some giant sex ring using very young women and girls and if they are being given drugs perhaps against their will. I’m beginning to wonder if next we’re going to hear next about certain other main female players in this little drama coming down with seizures, too? I’m going to be watching. I’d be interested to know if there are drugs used out there that leave a person with seizures even after use is discontinued. Otherwise, maybe “it’s in the water?” Ha.
I’ve tried researching stuff like that on the net and it’s really hard. Try for instance researching about the history of the Coca-Cola formulas and the facts about caffeine. There was a very good book on this subject awhile back and it looks they have all disappeared. (Ahem.) How many people trying to get off of the drugs do you see with a Coke can in hand? I do wonder about that. If I could personally talk to some of these people I’d say please do yourself a favor and don’t drink that. Better safe than sorry.

LE searched one pond at the mondex-we have hundreds of ponds around the mondex! My thoughts are this: Misty took her & JR out that night with her to party. During that time “something” happened to HaLeigh. Whether it was an accidential drug overdose I dont know but that is real possiblity-this town is FULL of drugs & most kids are on them. Jr. remembers a man in black & the couch bouncing. That I would think would be Misty having sex at Chad’s party with WBG.
I made a call to the PDD 2 weeks ago about the robbery & Misty’s cell phone. You know when I heard back from the detective working the case? Yesterday! I have alot of respect for our new sheriff but I think there comes a time when you have to play hard & I feel that time is way past due. They CAN find something to hold Misty on.She will break if under enough pressure but 1st you have to apply the pressure.

But it’s hard to blame people when we’ve just heard about the Jaycee Dugard case. Neighbors complained to police about goings-on at that house and in the back yard and the cop that was sent out stood in the front yard to speak to that monster. NEVER looked in the house. And that monster was on parole. I would hope LE would not have to get a warrant to search every square inch of that monster’s property whenever there was a complaint - and for no reason!
That cop didn’t do his job. He probably didn’t even check the monster’s record. Jaycee could have been found YEARS earlier!
It’s stories like that - and I know they are the exception not the rule (at least I hope so) - that reduces our faith in LE.
And PCSO has chosen to play this close to the vest. I agree it is their right and often it helps an investigation to do that. But they have to take their “lumps” because of it, too.
We cannot be expected to go on “blind faith.”
That’s not sensible. It gives LE too much power and sometimes that power ends up in the wrong hands.
They need to string every single one of the players in this mess up and beat it out of them, starting with that one Misty! Last to see her to me means she knows what happened. She is a dishonest little *****. Haleigh deserves better then this and they need to step up for her so her family, the ones who care anyhow can have closure.

Eye Roll, I couldn’t agree more re: LE. Isn’t it interesting that we are suppose to presume innocence for a suspect, but not for LE? What others don’t seem to realize is that LE is under pressure and scrutiny to find the killer. They want to find the killer. You don’t become a detective because you are dumb white trash like so many in that area. How did everyone jump from “consistent with animals” to “never sent a sample to the lab”? As I stated a few days ago in my post, LE is sly like a fox, and they are watching the hen house. Enough cackling from loose beaks and they’ll zero in on someone.
If im reading this correctly there is a 3 year old and her mother reported missing by her mothers family in the Winter Haven area! Father was last one to see them and a cousin of the father was just caught driving the womens car that the father said she left in! Very Fishy! Also the 7month old little baby! Nuts! Haleigh i think of you everyday you are loved by so many that hope for you to come home soon!

I think its odd to i read that she called him early on in October to arrange a meeting to pick up her daughter and everytime she called and wanted to talk to the 3 year old the dad said she was with relatives! Does anyone know when the last sighting of the girl was? I think its awesome that the mother wanted to finish school but i have learned you get more help when you are a single mother versus not having any children not sure how it goes in your states but where im from Single mothers with kids get grants help with daycare right at the school!

About the blood. Cobra said months ago that there was deer blood in the van. So they must have done dna back who knows when.
I’m glad to see that people are finally looking in the right direction of this case. In the tip that I called in about Haleigh, I said she was tied up with beige straps and the man with her was dangling beige straps. Snodgrass was using beige straps to tie up his victims and he dangled the straps at the children before he tied them up. PC should have put 2&2 together and realized that tip contained info that was the same thing Snodgrass did to other children. Please people don’t let LE stop looking at this person.

UIf I understood what Lt Johnny Greenwood said about how they co called, checked the landfill, this is the gist of what he said…
he told me that the dumpsters in that area are taken to the landfill (28 miles away) every four days, and on Feb 14, which was the (next) scheduled pick up date after their investigation started on Feb 10, they were there bright and early to chek every truck’s load, and of course they never found her……
Ok so here is what I have a huge concern with….. If a ped took Haleigh, late Feb 9, or early feb 10, ..there A) she cud have been placed in a dumpster shortly there after, and taken to the landfill on Feb 10….. or even physically, put in the actual landfill early on Feb 10…..
This is alarming to me, as cheking the trucks on Feb 14, may have been to late……
I wonder why they dont go bak and look at Feb 10, dumps… They can do that, as landfills are very organized and marked out of what was dumped where and on what date…
A good example of LE going bak 6 months later, is the case of Jennifer Blagg, where LE went back almost half a year later, and checed a landfill using the landfills document blue print, and LE actually miraculously found her remains.. !WOW..Kudos to Grand Junction, Co!
While investigators in Haleigh’s case was setting the stage for their initial start of their investigation.. Haleigh cud have already been picked up on Feb 10 from a dumpster and deposited in the landfill on feb 10…
Just like Somer, who was clearly killed shortly after her abduction and immediately placed in a dumpster only hours later…

I have 2 beautiful children and i dont know how anyone could harm a hair on a child! I love when people say Misty is a child! Well yes she was but at 17 i was helping my sister raise her child. Then when her little boy was one my sister got busted with the meth! That child was put into my care! I knew as a an adult what needed to be done even though i was still a child! My family life wasnt the greatest but i turned out just fine! Quick making excuses for Misty! Its her actions that she choose in life to be where she is today!

another, I am one that you probably think makes “excuses” for Misty. I am defensive for her.
If she hurt Haleigh I absolutely believe that she should be held responsible for that crime. However, if she is innocent, I believe she has been a victim here too. When Misty is 25 years old I will agree with you that she is responsible for where her life is, that her choices will have alot to do with where she is.
However, at 17 years old, I DO NOT believe that she is totally responsible and her own choices are what determined her life. ADULTS are to blame for any child that only finishes 5th grade. ADULTS are to blame when youth are out all night doing drugs etc. ADULTS are to blame if she didn’t get counseling after being raped and molested. ADULTS are to blame that she was off running the streets and moved in with a 24 year old man at 16. Now I agree she has some responsibility but so do her parents.
You can bet your butt my child would have been in school if I had to attend with her. You can bet your butt RON would have been scared to sleep with my 16 year old and the 1st time he did there would have been hell to pay. I feel sorry for Misty. WHo has she ever had that she could trust? Who can she turn to now and believe they care for her? LE, child protective services, the school system, society and everyone that has condemned her before she is proven guilty has failed her. Now don’t misunderstand me, my belief that she has been done WRONG does not give her a license to do Haleigh wrong. I too, was a child with a rough background & home life that made something of myself. BUT there was a turning point in my life when an adult said you don’t have to be like this, provided me with some counseling and resources that I was able to make some good choices. Without that God only knows where I would be. I am not trying to attack you here just suggesting you look at Misty from a different view. I am also baffled at how almost no one points fingers at Crystals but has already condemned Misty. I also want to say I am not blaming Crystal but she has hardly even been questioned. I think every possibility should be totally checked out, including her & her family. I am suspicious of why Misty & Ron’s side seem to be the only ones in question. Just my opinion. We will never know what impact Misty cud made on Haleigh and Junior.. Judging from the lifestyle that we have seen, it is only fair to refer to misty as an irresponsible child.. I do believe that there are prolly more iresponsible 17 yr olds out there, than the ones like you who cud step up to the plate at such a young age.. We have to remember that Misty was only 176 yrs old 2 months beofre this happened… Based on other similar types of abductions..(no forced entry and no good explanation of what happened to a child, (Van Dam, and Lundsford) it has to be considered that Misty has told all she knows, and Haleigh became of a victim of some lunatic.. maybe by someone known to the family or even a perfect stranger.. We cant become narrow minded as we will narrow the chances of finding the truth….

Everyone has there own opinion and i think thats great! There are times when someone will give there theory and you think wow i never thought of that! It could be logical and then you try to peice it together how this happens all to many time! Children going missing! Im scared to know what my children are going to grow up in when i was a child which wass not to long ago i remember riding my bike all over town to the pool mall parks! In a city near where I live, a part time elementary school teacher was elected to council. Less than a month after he took the seat in January, he was arrested on Federal money laundering charges.
Found guilty and sentenced to HOUSE ARREST with a GPS monitor, which doesn’t seem to have altered his daily activities much at all. He dines out at restaurants, drives around, goes shopping . . .
I think it all depends on whether those monitoring wish to let the monitored roam, or not.
Just for a change of subject. Casey’s defense team filing charges for both her murder charges and check fraud charges to be thrown out. How many times must the judge say NO?
Again, Baez and team, instead of coming up with the facts pertaining to the proven innocence of their client which they claim to have, are attempting to prove that the state has no evidence and that the state should drop all indictments against their poor “INNOCENT” client. It seems to me that they are only prolonging the inevitable and keeping Casey in jail even longer waiting for a trial that may not even start next summer with all these unecessary delays. This twisting of the letter of the law by defense attorneys is the prime reason why child murderers are often released to kill again!

They said the splatters were consistent, meaning the shape and location of the splattered blood, not the blood type itself.

The article is not clear whether they did a more detailed search at Staub’s request.
Not acceptable if they could have, but did not, do a thorough search of the sheds.

There is a video where TJ and Cobra are talking. In that video Cobra explained that there were all types of people in Satsuma. Cobra explained that if there was a club that takes little girls, then that is the club he wants to talk to.

Many years ago I watched a film called 8mm, starring Nicholas Cage. It is about a snuff film. Although the film is very disturbing and difficult to watch, I felt it was important that I watched it. It made me realize that there is a sick and twisted culture in our world.
I was told that Misty was buying drugs from Snodgrass. But I also believe that Haleigh was sold or swapped to Snodgrass. I think that Haleigh was brought to Snodgrass that nite by his good friend Marty Reed. I also believe that Tommy took Haleigh from her home and met Marty somewhere to make the exchange.

Although I have not made up my mind about what happened to Haleigh or who is responsible, when I look at Misty I think of this. What if Haleigh saw Misty take a drink of booze, a cigarette (or pot) or drug? And copied her as little girls so often do. Just another possibility among a sea of them.

In 1979 this man raped and beat a nine MONTH old baby. He’s been in jail for 30 years and he’s up for parole in December. The family is pleading for your help to keep him in jail. Writing a letter helps. Each letter counts as one request regardless of the number of signatures on it. So ever person has to write a letter (can’t collect signatures for one letter).
And letters have to mailed by Dec 1 - signed, dated, and including a return address on the envelope. (It feels GOOD to DO something!)

How about every person who writes their opinions spends that time actually putting feet onto that energy and start looking for children missing in your own areas. This “no news” day is getting to be ridiculous. We had a scare this evening in our neighborhood, one that makes everything come into focus very very fast, a small boy age about 11 came to the front door and ask if his younger brother age 8 was here at our house? No, the child wasn’t, none of the grands had seen the child today.. I spoke with his Mother outside setting in her car crying.. I ask if they had called the police, As I’m standing out in the Road talking to her, I realize how dark and cold it is, and my heart froze just a bit.. She said he had gotten mad at his sister who was babysitting, and ran off, somewhere around 4:00pm. She stated, she hadn’t talked to the police, she was afraid she and her daughter would get into trouble.. My mind was racing, who gives a care in this world if you or your daughter are concerned, Where is this Child???

My daughter and grandson when out to drive around and look for this little guy, I have no idea where the mom went, she was out going to friends houses.. I decided, if she wasn’t calling the police.. I was!! Just as I was talking to the dispatcher and spelling the child’s name, my Grandson came racing in and said.. They found him.. Another friends Mother just dropped him off at Home.. With just a 3 hour span that Marc Klaas refers to.. We were looking at one hour left, when the child was found.
Knowing this is one little guy, who was safe and arrived home safely, the relief is fantastic, but it also brings back the ache in my Heart knowing that Haleigh has not yet come home. When.. When are people going to put her first?

m2c, this is exactly what we’ve been talking about the whole time. These monsters shouldn’t even be able to have a parole hearing at all. This other guy in Ohio that raped etc. did 15 yrs, is an ex marine, is now back in jail and they have found now 10 dead bodies in his home and they are still looking for more. This is a fact, once a rapist/killer, always a rapist/killer. THEY NEVER STOP!!! It’s like an animal that tastes blood for the first time, they crave for more.
I have my letter written and ready to go out tomorrow. But now I’m taking this a step further. It’s time to write to all parole boards with a letter. We need their help in protecting our children and everyone else for that matter. KEEP THESE SICK %^&$# in their cells.

I’m on the West Coast. Why do I keep hearing about all of these children disappearing from Florida? What is going on in that state? I’m sure the West Coast has it’s share of abductions, but lately every one I’ve heard about has been in Florida. ??? Is this state easy of sex offenders or what? If so, do they have a large congregation where they “help” each other out? This is so unnerving.

Good Morning, Everyone!!! Most of you know me, but for you that do not, I worked in a prison system for 10 years as a shrink, I had to work with all the sexual offenders. I refused to sign and approve parole for Sexual offenders and people who killed children. They never stop, they are untreatable and incurable!! I was told I would be fired or I could take an early retirement at the age of 35 if I did not stop rejecting all the parole papers of these S.O.

You have no Idea how important it is to write letters to the parole board!!!!!! They take them very seriously; every letter they get is read and given the upmost attention. I have seen letters stop a release even though the whole board has voted yes on parole.
Please, Please Write to help keep these people in prison, everyone of us can save many children’s lives this way.

IMO there is no way to look at this that makes sense for this man to ever get out of jail.
For starters: say the baby had lived - and did not have brain damage and was not crippled from the beating - she would be about 30 years old now with her own family perhaps and looking forward to 30 MORE years and watching her own grandkids grow up. That monster stole an entire LIFE! Not to mention the misery that her parents have suffered every day for the last 30 years and will suffer until they die. NO WAY he gets paroled! I am going to post a link that has Geraldo’s interviews with both sides of Haleigh’s family. The main reason I wanted all of you to listen to these tapes is because off and on thru these tapes, the 9-1-1 tape is playing with the audio turned up. If you will listen closely to the background of these tapes, you will hear how the cover-up began. There are 4 tapes in this series. After you listen to #l, the others are pictured underneath the first tape. Cobra said they got the background sound up loud enough, you could hear all kinds of things being said, and done while they were calling 9-1-1. He said that on one of the Sunday radio programs, not long ago.

You will see that the story didn’t originate with Cobra or Art. It has been around since Haleigh disappeared. You can read all kinds of mention of the washing machine going when the police got there that night. I read it in the Palatka Daily News. It was posted on Feb. 10, 2009. I have been able to google in Palatka Daily News/Cummings/date and get the Cummings’ case article for that day, now you have to register. I didn’t remember which day in Feb that I read it, but I knew that I read it in there. If you google in what I told you, there will all kinds of references to it being Feb. 10, 2009.

Is there another audio of the second call to Ron and Misty by L.E. he night that Haleigh went missing?

That is the original tape with the background noises turned up. There is still alot more on it that we can’t hear. Cobra used some equipment to bring the 911 tape clear enough, he caught alot of things going on.

You can’t hear it on this tape, but Cobra said, on the one he brought forward, you could hear cabinet doors slamming and buttons being pushed. It sounded like alot of rushing around. In reading one of the area newspapers today, Major Bowling said the blankets that were spread oout on the back porch ramp were what they took off of Haleigh’s bed to use to get her scent for the track dogs.
Somewhat strange they would use the sheets she slept on, didn’t they want to preserve the evidence on them?
Why didn’t they just use a shirt or pair of socks? LE should know those items work best for scent.
So disqusted with parents NOT taking care of their children!! My cousin’s daughter and grandchildren moved in with him 3 days ago and after realizing yesterday that he had not seen her feed them in the 2 days she had been there and the 3 year old crying, he went to get his daughter. He found her outside smoking and texting, her children are 3yr and 8 months. My cousin told her to get off the phone, throw down the cigarette and come inside to feed the kids and take care of them! She cussed him and told him NO! They got into a horrible arguement and she took the children and left, no food, no clothes, she just called afriend to come get her and then she left. This was late last night and he hasn’t heard from her since, yes they live in FLORIDA. Apparently calling DCF does no good either!
It is so horrible, Haleigh, Shannon, all the missing kids, it’s time the US wakes up and holds parents or anyone that hurts children accountable

Well at the risk of another arrest, there were no tools in either shed. there was an arrow in one shed and not the shed with the blood.
There were no other searches or digging or luminol of the house as misty requested.
This was to remain a quiet case. listen to what she told me. She was very mater of fact.
when i called to report this, Det. Ken Taylor, the same arresting officer of me and snod, stated very angerly, ‘i hope Cobra has not f’d my case and pushed for my arrest to clear me from there, so my sources so state.
In my thoughts, this is why i was arrested, to shut me up! Search that property when you finish all the other bullshit, PLEASE.

I agree that something that only belonged to Haleigh and that was definitely worn recently or played with a lot (like a stuffed toy or doll) should have been used for scent.

IMO the thing to be careful about in thinking that “Cobra was getting too close” is that we can’t be sure exactly what he may have been getting too close to. There may be other things going on in Putnam County or with some people there that could have been exposed that do not have anything to do with Haleigh but are still causing a derailment in the investigation of her disappearance.

Also, Why did they only use one dog the night Haleigh went missing and leave the other Dogs in the Car?

A retired detective (FBI, if I recall correctly)stated on a televised broadcast that, to paraphrase - this case should have been solved months ago.
In his opinion, law enforcement is the ONLY reason it hasn’t been solved.

Karen Cox, hello. My theory is 1 of 2 things. Either Haleigh died (accidently) while with Misty out partying at Chad’s house, south part of Putnam County. Tim Miller stated once that he was a local pub/food place that is just south of Satsuma & a waitress asked if she could talk with him. He was reluctant but agreed. This young girl told him that she knew for a fact that Misty was not at home that night (as many others have stated)b/c she personally saw her at Chad’s party that night. The waitress was there to buy drugs & was scared to say anything b/c she was on probation. This would have sent her to jail. My thoughts are who cares, speak up, go to jail.
Knowing this town like I do & the # of young kids & even older folks that are on drugs is alarming. It is truly an epidemic. So I can sadly say that Haleigh getting into some drugs & overdosing does not surprise me. They searched a pond at the mondex. I really felt they would find her then, but no luck. Thing is we have hundreds of ponds at the mondex. My other theory is Snod. I know of him. I know of the vacant Mobile homes he owned (at least at one time). He abused other little girls, he lived near Haleigh, he apparently knew her & Ron & Misty. He is a shady guy to say the least. If you molest one child, you will molest another. This would be where any so-called LE protection would come in, but why?
My gut tells me Ron is not involved with Haleigh being gone, nor is her bio mom. Misty knows & Misty is covering, she is scared to talk or she honestly was so screwed up that Monday from all the partying she does not remember. And she very well could have also been partying with Snod. at Chad’s. Snod’s place & Misty’s place (at the time)and this pub are within 15 miles of eachother.

They said that to end the investigation of concerns Misty’s mother raised regarding the mutilation of a child.
Misty requested additional investigating, including lumninol testing at the house. They declined to do so, citing as FACT that tools to indicate the cleaning of deceased animals were found in the sheds, and that the blood splatters are consistent with a hunter mutilating deer or turkey at the shed.
There were tools, and they couldn’t determine the blood splatters were from deer or turkey just by looking at them.

The babysitter of missing 7 mo. old Shannon Dedrick wrote to our Gov. in Aug, this year about little Shannon being abused & she begged him for help. Within a few days, DCF was investigating the parents. So yes, send letters to Gov. Christ, he did act on this. Sadly though she is still missing & DCF “found nothing wrong”. Go figure.

It is the Geraldo tapes that I posted earlier, mainly because of the enhanced background on those tapes. The background will surprise you. Lawshrink is going to try to get the whole 911 tape enhanced for us, Cobra said you could hear all kinds of things on it.
You know Governor Crist stated “there will never be a hurricane in Florida as long as he is governor”, Well he need not be so worried about hurricanes and start doing something about all these children that are abducted every day here!!

I the PalatKa Daily never reported such a thing. Not only did I talk to the chief editor who is on top of this case, but I also took the liberty of looking up the articles..(not only from the Paltaka Daily, but even the bigger players)
No where was there ever such a quote.
On account that LE has advised that this wasnt reported, and this alleged article is no where to be found, i think it is time that Cobra bak up his statement.
I have asked him in 3 separate posts to eloborate or at least confirm that he wasnt misquoted..

I was having trouble getting that part of the story on my computer, for some reason. It should have been checked out, for sure. In the south, I am from Texas, hunters always have something they are hunting. Some men hunt and fish, regularly, and they are always dressing something out.
The reason I said that was because one woman said earlier,who does that anymore, when referring to a shed where men dressed out their deer, or whatever.

Massive search targets woods, river in South Putnam for missing girl

SATSUMA - A young girl was reported missing, and possibly abducted, from her South Putnam County home early Tuesday.
The disappearance of 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings triggered a massive search on land, water and in the air as more than 130 officers from agencies across Northeast Florida responded to the Satsuma area.
“We would hope that she is safe,” Detective John Merchant said Tuesday. “And we’re hoping for the best outcome.”
The nightmare began about 3 a.m.
Haleigh wasn’t in bed. The back door of a blue doublewide mobile home was open, and a blanket and sheets were scattered on the wooden ramp leading from the door.
Authorities said they were told Haleigh’s father, Ronald, had just ended his shift at PDM Bridge in Palatka. His girlfriend, Misty Croslin, said she had been sleeping next to Haleigh, but when she awoke, the blonde-haired girl was gone.
“She was sleeping right next to me,” Croslin told the Daily News while distributing flyers bearing Haleigh’s photo. “I can’t believe I didn’t hear anything.”
A 911 call at 3:27 a.m. resulted in Putnam County sheriff’s deputies being sent to the home, which is on a dirt road in the Hermit’s Cove neighborhood.
By daybreak, a Child Abduction Regional Team response was implemented by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at Putnam County’s request. A nearly constant convoy of vehicles and personnel from a wide spectrum of agencies rolled into the otherwise quiet neighborhood.
A roadblock was set up on the only road out of the neighborhood and deputies thoroughly searched every vehicle that left.
Helicopters from Volusia County and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission flew over the neighborhood and a section of the nearby St. Johns River. Those flights continued into Tuesday night.
Boats from the FWC and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office joined Putnam County deputies seeking clues from the river, while divers searched below the surface.
And, several search teams scoured woods adjacent to the Cummings home.
Some searchers were led by specially trained bloodhounds from the Tomoka Correctional Institution and nearly 30 workers at the state prison in East Palatka joined the effort.
Some officers rode all-terrain vehicles while others walked carefully side-by-side through brush hoping to find some sign of the missing child.
At the same time, authorities went door-to-door asking neighbors if they saw or heard anything that could help find Haleigh.
“Right now, our leads are minimal,” Merchant said.
He asked the public to report possible leads to the sheriff’s office by calling 329-0800.
“We are doing everything possible,” Chief Deputy Rick Ryan said.
Haleigh’s 4-year-old brother also was in the home Tuesday night, authorities said.
Haleigh does not have a history of wandering from home.
“That would be abnormal for the child,” Merchant said.
Investigators questioned family members for much of Tuesday.
In an interview Tuesday night, Sheriff Jeff Hardy said the FBI had dispatched 16 agents to assist the investigation.
“They’ll be on the ground with us Wednesday,” he said.
In addition, Hardy said the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children was sending a team to help authorities.
Hardy said he appreciated the fast response and he was hopeful.
“I am optimistic this case will have a positive outcome,” he said. “This is a missing, endangered child at this point.”
An Amber Alert was issued for Haleigh on Tuesday morning, prompting many tips to be called in to the sheriff’s office, Hardy said.
“We’re adding to our dispatch staff to handle the calls,” he said.
There are no plans at this time to bolster the ranks of searchers with volunteers from the general public Hardy said.
“We have what we consider to be adequate law enforcement resources at this point,” he said.
Investigators are pursuing “several different angles” on the case, including the whereabouts of 44 registered sexual offenders who live within a five-mile radius of the Cummings home, Hardy said.
He said “less than 10″ were registered sexual predators with a more serious past.
Hardy also said there were no signs of forced entry into the Cummings house.

Because there are two misty’s ill refer to the other here as MS. Saunders .. I think others should too to keep the confusion down. Just a suggestion. Anyway, They only need probable cause and what they plan to search for to issue a search warrant and two important probable cause are / ms. saunders allegations of abuse and Snotweed showing up on more than one occasion at the Haleighbug center when the bond claerly stated by the judge ” No contact with children whatsoever”. Then write to the judge the purpose of the warrant is to use luminol and yard digging. Simple unless the staute of limitations has already ran out from the first search.
I’m usually a conspiracy theorist but im starting to think the guy simply had a scanner and thats how he knew they were about to revoke him and since he allegedly worked at the bond office (illegally I might add) than he probably already had the low down on Staubs and his working relationship with that particular insurance agency from associates in the bond office. I thought I heard this (about Snotweed working there) on one of the broadcasts here at BNN. If I’m wrong about that please let me know so i’m not in the dark. It was a broadcast about Staubs pending legal trouble as I recall.

I don’t know if any of you have heard about the case involving the little boy with the leg braces? I can’t remember his name right now (chemistry homework) but his foster parents are suspected of foul play, LE knows they did something to him, and they even arrested the foster parents but didn’t have enough evidence to hold them.
As far as little Shannon, if the baby sitter is the same woman from SC then what the hell was she doing around another child???? I have my hypothesis on that one!

The 911 call has the background louder than usual, and it is telling. You still have to listen carefully. Ron’s voice is the one to listen for.

Ok after re-listening to the broadcast labeled ” Interview with william cobra staubs” from oct 13th archives , I specifically hear cobra say that Ms. Saunders(other misty) goes to chucks bail bonds and takes herself off as indemnitor on the bond of Snotweed. My question is why is the girl who got him in trouble for capital sexual battery the indemnitor on the bond itself. That doesnt make sense! Sounds like bail bonds corp ( owned by former cop and a SO himself) is really dealing something else and using phony charges and previous contacts in the law system to launder the money through 10% bail imposed on customers like Snotweed then letting the charges run on for two years with no hearing until they can work out how to get him out of the phony charges. Can’t drive fancy sports cars on Daytona Strip by dealing drugs and not laundering it without looking suspicious. 20-50 million a year laundered through phony charges on customers and using previous contacts to get the charges dropped sounds about right to me. Why else would the girl who snitched on him also be on the bond unless she was in on it! The whole thing is confusing but everyone should relisten to that Oct 13th interview in the archives after hearing this new tape and ask why she would be on the bond. Its the last 10 minutes of the broadcast. Denny Griffin needs to put THAT in his book. Miami vice couldn’t have wrote a better plot than this. If I’m wrong so be it.

even the amount of the bond sounds phony. $78,000? Why not 75 ,80 ,100 thousand or something rounded to the nearest. If a street dealer gets 7,800 in illegal goods from the main dealer and they know the laundering through bonding is 10% then they find an illegal charge within that range, figure what 10% would be and whala $78,000 bond.Thats where the funky numbers are from. The street dealers knows they’ll find them one of their lawyers who let the charges ride for two years and be out on probation so no big deal. Why else are there so many SO’s out on the street in Florida and so many drugs and so many people with big boats and girls with small bikinis on them. Think about it!

JJ, I happen to agree with you. There is something very fishy going on here with the powers that be. The actions of LE in this case are in stark contrast to the Caylee Anthony case where the child’s mother was suspected immediately because of some really stupid actions on her part - the non-reporting, the partying, getting a tattoo, etc. I don’t understand why they can’t pull Misty in and put some pressure on her for more info. Arrest her for something else, I don’t care what. She is an ignorant, inexperienced teenager, not to mention really dumb and her actions do not make sense either, so what the heck is going on here. Reel that dumb-dumb in and get her to spit it out already. As for the comments of law enforcement about that creep’ shed…..wtf is right……”consistent with?” Seriously? Your post addressed to me (@ 7:53pm Nov 4) is rather disappointing.
First, I am no editor, nor do I claim to be. It is disappointing that a fellow blogger, would be clearly “upset” by their peers asking for clarification, and or accountability on statements made. I know for myself, correct facts and statements, are imperative. I have seen many incorrect statements written, and aired about the events in this case. I see nothing wrong with weeding out the junk.
Your self assessment of knowing this case well, makes me wonder how much inaccuracy has poluted your conclusions. We draw conclusions on the information we gather. If we have gathered inaccuracy, how can we have a fair conclusion? Judging by your resistance to aide in getting to the bottom of this particular issue, as well as your hostility, in discussing a solution, it appears that you dont care, what is written or if your opinions are based on hogwash.
In knowing this case, the fact is there arent many details to know. LE has kept their investigation close to the vest. The hate-on for Misty started at the very beginning, and I personally find it irresponsible to ignore the fact that there have been many inaccurate statements made through the media. I would have expected that you or any blogger, would be wanting the truth and not fiction.
It suggests that you want to believe everything you read.
The fact that ppl make mistakes, isnt the problem. We all make them. Fixing them, is what is important. I havent heard you rescind your allegation.
I am not sorry I contacted the media relations person @ PCSO. This is why he is there.
I tried resolving it first, before contacting him. I have asked Cobra in about 5 different posts to clarify or advise if the issue, was a misquote, or inaccurate in any way. I didnt get any answers so I went looking myself. I am very thorough, and there isnt anything wrong with that.

That is what the whole problem is on this case.. Too many ppl, looking for damming reasons to continue going after a girl who may be telling the entire truth.
As long as the public accepts that Misty is the only possible key, it gives LE a scapegoat, and an explantion of why the case isnt solved. We should never settle for that in any case. No one seems to acknowledge that children have been taken from their beds before, where the guardians were very close by, and heard nothing and there was no forced entry.. Maybe as soon as that possibility is explored, and considered, answers can follow.
Until then it seems OK to let each day pass with no more information, and blame it all on Misty…

We know that L.E. have more evidence than what they are telling us, but I don’t believe they have near enough to arrest anyone, Or to truly know what happened to Haleigh.

Baker is gonna be charged, that woman and her husband should never be allowed around kids ever again.
To expand on my thoughts from last night:
Any arrests, complaints, etc against Ron are a matter of public record.(Excuse me, I’m just brainstorming here.) I believe Ron lies to save Ron’s ass, why did he marry Misty? To keep himself from being charged with statutory rape. Why make up the endearing story about how he picked Haleigh up from the bus stop? Witnesses have gone on record saying it was Misty who picked Haleigh up that day and Ron’s work schedule also refutes that. So why the story? To paint himself as the caring, devoted daddy. How many unexcused tardies and absences did Haleigh have? Enough to get Ron, the custodial parent, in a deep pile of doo-doo for violating the compulsory education law? The parents are usually charged, especially with a child so young, and child welfare becomes involved. Is allowing his child to miss so many days of school the actions of a concerned, caring parent? Ron himself remarked on Nancy Grace that he got custody of his kids because he was the better parent. I think he went after custody to get revenge on Crystal. Before his gig at PDM how did he support himself? On child support payments? Does he pay support for his other son? What were his motives to get custody of Haleigh and Jr? Did Teresa have something to do with it? Why leave his daughter, who had chronic health problems, in the care of someone he described as a “stupid b*tch”?
I won’t even comment on Misty right now. Statistics indicate that LE has to look at the family. So far all evidence or lack thereof keeps comimg back to Ron and Misty.
LE will be hard-pressed to find someone who is NOT a druggie who knows the whereabouts of Misty on the night in question. “Yes, officer, I saw Misty at the party at Chad’s house. The only reason I was there is because Nay Nay is a member of my literary club and I wanted to see if she read that book that was on Oprah last Tuesday.”

All large companies that are very successful have people who sit around and just brainstorm, theories, and make up Hypotheses.
Some of the stuff they come up with is way out there but it makes the mind think in other avenues and look at things in a different way thinks fit together.

Theory: I think someone was there earlier and propped the screen door open with the brick. I think it is possible with the A/C guy and other people there that the back door got unlocked and someone came in & took Haleigh. I hope it is someone who took her for Crystal and that Haleigh is alive & happy somewhere. My fears are that it was a pervert.

Some seem to be saying that blogging is pointless in not so many words and we can’t do anything to save these children. Well that’s not true. The more awareness we put on these blogs and the more we hunt for the answers, the better educated we become in these cases as well as being able to protect our own children. Some of us have given very good ideas and advice on furthering that protection for our kids. Also in some cases we have the Do’s and Don’t’s IF/when a child goes missing close to home. Also, you’d be surprised how many LE/FBI/etc. really do watch these blogs as well. Especially this one since Baez decided to hand stuff over to the judge referring to this Blog/writers. So don’t say that we are basically wasting our time, Because we’re not.

Tommy has been overlooked from the start. He was at the MH along with the AC man during the day and yet it was the AC man who it seems was questioned thoroughly but not Tommy?
His number was on Ron’s cell phone showing Ron had called Tommy’s home Tommy was there that day, and had access to UNLOCK the back door, and yet he was not given a LDT or deeply questioned. And now we know that Tommy was at the MH after the time Misty claims to have gone to sleep.
Not putting Tommy in LE’s radar was a big screw up in my book!

Pic of the back of the MH shows part of the central air unit is right under a window, and large parts of the skirting is broken off.
Would be EASY for a person to lay under that MH, listen until they thought Misty and the children were sleeping, crawl out from under the MH, climb on the central air unit and crawl in the MH through the window, IF the window was unlocked.
The AC man was there for routine maintenance and was servicing all of the landlords properties. In Florida most routine maintenance is done in the winter when the AC companies are less busy.
I really don’t know what happened, exactly, but I do believe it was an accident, maybe drug related.
Just found out that there is a dusk to dawn light on a pole right outside the master bedroom of that MH.
Dusk to dawn lights are very bright. They turn on automatically at dusk.
Misty said she took a blanket off the window. Why would a blanket be on the window?
There is a security light on a pole at the corner of the MH BUT it was not activated. It is a light that is activated through the power company at a monthly fee. It was not activated so it was not on at night.

You shouldn’t say something is true unless you can prove it is true.
Shouldn’t be hard to find a picture of the MH at night, as there were news media filming at the location.

I have been involved in finding HaLeigh since day one. I do not just sit back and take what others say as gospel, nor should anybody.
I saw the light off in a nighttime picture SO I talked to somebody in the neighborhood, found out it was a security light through the power company, I then contacted the power company and was told it was not activated.
Could the neighbor and the power company lied to me? Sure they could, but I put the value of the info I was given based on who my sources were.
My advice is, if anybody believes the light being on or off is important to your search for HaLeigh then research it out.

Lawshrink, who do we have here is a good question! Something fishy about a poster jumping in right away and saying they know that light was on a separate bill with the electric company and wasn’t turned on. Never heard that one before, so its one of those things that make me suspicious.
I noticed something that looked like a blanket, hanging over the window in Haleigh’s room, during one of the tours. Misty could have taken that one down, instead of one in the room they were sleeping in.
We should all try are best to only state facts.
When did you call FPL? Before after or DURING the time Ron and Misty lived there?

I worked for a utility in my state, and we would never give such information to anyone except the account holder.
Utility laws protect consumers through privacy regulations.
Again, doubtful the power company for that address told you whether or not a service was on at 202 Green Lane.

Haleigh was missing the only in-depth details she could give was about blankets.
She didn’t know what Haleigh was wearing, where she was sleeping, or what time she fell asleep. She didn’t know who was all at the house that night, why she got up,
But she knew everything about where all the blankets were. On the window, on the railing on the ramp, in the van.

As far as the blanket on the window, it is not unusual for people to put blankets on windows when the person living there works at night and sleeps during the day.
LE put the bedding on the ramp. Blankets were not on the ramp prior to LE putting them there.

To me nothing hangnon has said is anything out of line. I happen to have one of those lights installed on my property because I don’t have street lights where I live. I had it installed and pay an additional monthly fee for it. IF I moved and someone else moved in here it would be optional if they wanted to have it turned on or not. Many day sleepers put blankets on the windows to block the light. Some people also put blankets on windows as extra insulation if the room is cold or drafty.
A guy who keeps numerous guns for protection and checks the deadbolt on a back door every day seems security-minded enough to keep a security light on.
The blanket could have been on the window because it matched the wall paper, but who cares?
Of importance is whether or not the security light was on when Misty took the blanket off the window.

I think a history is needed (something that won’t invade privacy) to get the feel of the players involved. As we all suspect a lot of the major players are consummate liars but why lie when a child is missing? I’d like to see the motives that are compelling these people. Ms. P, You’re welcome. This is a difficult case and frustrating time and it’s really hard on us all. I think for the most part we’re all doing really well and treating each other well and that’s what counts. I sort of think of it this way - just imagine what if Haleigh suddenly walked up and saw me pulling the hair out of some lady’s head because we disagreed about where all the blankets were the night she disappeared? (translate that into me fighting with another blogger). I wouldn’t want her to see me like that, you know?
I know it’s more than weird. But that’s my way of trying to keep myself in check. Not that I’m always successful of course.
Jann, I skimmed some posts earlier and saw that some believe the security light was on that night and some don’t. And someone has researched it. In spite of that I don’t really know whether it was or not. I agree it’s a fact that there is a security light there. I just can’t assume it was on or off.

Jann, how do you know there was a bright security light just a few feet from the bedroom window. DO you know if it was bright or disconnected? There is more too to it than the price of a light bulb. If it is like the light I have I never have to change the light bulb. It would take a 20 ft ladder to do so. BUT it is NOT cheap to have it. I paid a $100 installation and connection fee and I pay an additional fee every month. It certainly COULD have been a financial issue that Ron did not pay to have it connected. Why is this such an issue that you want to argue about it. You keep challenging on this issue. DO YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THE LIGHT WAS CONNECTED AND SHINING BRIGHTLY THAT NIGHT????

1. The door was swinging freely, it was NOT wedged open with laundry.
2. Police took the bedding out the back door and let the dogs pick up a scent.
3. There is no evidence that Haleigh was taken out the back door. The dogs followed a trail to the river that had the scent they picked up from the bedding, OR, the dogs followed wind that blew scent from the blanket towards the river.
Treece, do you know for a fact that it wasn’t? I’ll appreciate it you speak in a calm, rational manner instead of yelling. If you won’t, then I will ignore your posts. I have no time to argue with anyone who simply wants to defend what they hope is true.

Him and Tommy love guns and was charged with multiple firearms posession. Mcleod was also known for whooping Amber Brooks around before. Third time arrested in connection with someone in the case. She said she wouldn’t have gone out of the house at all, because she was scared of the dark, but if she did, she would have gone out the front because there were bright lights out there.

First of all I would NEVER call Paw69 a smart mouth as an insult because personally I find she is pretty smart and knows what she is talking about.
Second of all she DID use the abbreviations to certain words in her post which I can’t call cursing.
Third, I am the one that makes the decisions about who is warned and who gets banned from here. So I would appreciate the personal slams to one another left out of here.
I realize we are all on edge and we get frustrated with each other especially when we disagree with someone but please try to refrain from the slurs and insults. At this point we can’t tolerate that in here.
We welcome all of you here but we don’t want arguing with each other. The regular group we
in here have done an outstanding job at time of agreeing to disagree with each other when a difference in opinion can’t be settled. I admire how they have handled situations instead of turning it into a war among us all. Please help us and them keep BNN that way.
We thank you all for your support in helping us keep these children in the news so they won’t be forgotten so right now that need us fighting for them together not against each other.

polly i wish i was up on all the facts. the best i can remember ron and crystal worked on and off. mostly off. i thought i read that ron’s last place of employment was a landscaping job or some type of gardening job before the pdm job? i think someone also mentioned a job paving roads. i really don’t know, this probably came from bloggers. some here really do have the facts. i am hoping they make fact sheets for us on the forum. if you find out please post the information for the rest of us.
The only person we defend is Haleigh. Not Ron, Not Misty, Not Crystal, not the families involved. Only Haleigh. But!, We also have been looking at other possibilities as well as noticing that some people in Haleigh’s life got cleared too quickly.

I think considering the possibility of Misty’s being innocent has to be included if one is truly looking at all possibilities.
Sometimes people are, in fact lying. But the questions are why and what about? Lying in itself does not necessarily mean she’s guilty of doing something to Haleigh or even being a major part of it. Possibly caught up in it. Just possibly - if we are to consider all possibilities!
And Treece has always been one of the most open-minded (and kind) people here!

Karon has told us she viewed a NG video in which Teresa Neves said Haleigh would not go out the back because it was dark. She said that if she did, she would have gone out the front because there were bright lights out there.

Sometimes I do defend Misty. It is not because I positively think she is innocent it is just because I think she has been so over targeted.
If Haleigh would have wandered off, they would have found her by the closest light. Crystal stated on a NG show that Haleigh was scared of the dark and that she wouldn’t wander off due to being scared of the dark.

Jann I think it is good that you want the truth and the facts but in order to achieve that YOU are responsible for verifying and finding out the truth and the facts. You can not just dispel what somebody says as being inaccurate without researching it no more then you can post something as fact that you have heard somebody say without researching it.
There are pics on the internet that show the MH at night with the front porch light on and the security light off. Now you can take that bit of info any way you would like it BUT for you to believe that the light was on WITHOUT doing your own research and verifying that the light was indeed activated is NOT having the truth or the facts.
Since you have not researched it you do not know if the security light was activated or not and it is not accurate for you to post that the light was indeed on, and bright. Look at the pics of the MH at night. Yes it was bright on the FRONT porch, so yes if HaLeigh did go out the door it would be the front door to the porch, where it was bright from the porch light.

Jann I think you sound quit capable of finding out the power company that services Green Lane, all by yourself, like any other good researcher.
I do find it odd though that you use the statement Ms Neves made that HaLeigh would not go out the back, that she would go out the front because it was brighter, to validate that the security light was activated and on.
Do you not know the location of the security light? If it was activated it WOULD light up the side of the house, the ramp area as well as the front. So to say that side of the house was dark would imply that the security light was not on and the front was bright due to a porch light.
FB, First of all, I’m not honey. 2 of all, I didn’t insult anyone and I have plenty of common sense to appreciate the value of a discussion. When I came into the blog today, I saw arguing, NOT discussion over a light being on or off. There is a HUGE difference between the 2.

JJ @ 10:56 pm - As far as I know there is no requirement to be a fact checker in order to post here. This is a blog. People are entitled to log in and vent or comment about whatever they want in regard to Haleigh’s disappearance. That’s just the way it is.
I very much admire and appreciate people who research and bring facts to this case. I try to consider all the things I read and think of theories that might fit.
I do not mean this as an insult to anyone who researches and brings facts to a blog but I do take that information with a grain of salt. I also take information from PCSO with a grain of salt. Have to. I can’t blindly accept what anyone says really. I can consider it but I don’t have to buy into it if I don’t want to.
PCSO can spin a tale for the purposes of the investigation. And I don’t personally know any bloggers to KNOW they are telling the truth - and sometimes the truth gets skewed and misinterpreted anyway. It’s a minefield.
So it’s great that you do what you do and share it and there are people here who appreciate it and will consider it. But we all don’t have to be the same. How boring a world that would be (IMO)
