Six-year-old Haleigh Cummings of Satsuma, FL was taken from her home February 9, 2009. Since then, very few solid clues have turned to help find her.
At this point, investigators are looking at every piece of evidence and reviewing everything they’ve gathered so far.
In a tape William “Cobra” Staubs dug up from March 31, 2009, he spoke with Misty Saunders–the stepdaughter of an accused sexual predator Daniel Snodgrass. Details here.
Daniel Snodgrass is the man who tried donate furniture to the Haleighbug Center in Satsuma and ended up causing trouble at the building.

I can’t get the audio to play
Simon , blog talk radios player will not play the link..can you fix that so we can hear. Even WMP will not open with it after saving to hard drive.

I assume Staubs attorneys have the other tapes as evidence in his “false imprisonment” trial. But why now after 7 months are they (LE) now investigating the claims on the tape. Why wern’t the tapes given to LE immediately to investigate the claims? Only after an impending trial do the tapes show up.If the private investigators claim they are worried about abuse then this 9 yr olds statements back then should’ve been voiced to LE even while in the middle of an investigation of a different child. I’m assuming the tapes were given to LE but they just had not gotten to them with all the other tips intil now. Or did these tapes only get dug up now and become a concern because they are needed to sway a trial to their favor. Either way the SO Snotweed is a scumbag and needs to be locked up. I guess i’ll wait to hear the tape and Staubs explanation before I jump to any conclusion on why he waited to hand these over to LE or if LE just failed to recognize them at the time. Would like to hear comments on when the tapes were handed over.
There’s an accusation on the tape that Snotweed was actually featured on 20/20 as a killer who got way with murder before. WHAAAT? Someone with real research skills need to see if they can dig up that 20/20 transcript or video and post so we can all see ! BTW ,WMP did work, just have to wait for long download.

I had occassion to pause and listen to the tape of Mr. William Staubs talking to a person whom he identified by the surname “Sanders”.
Unfortunately, you reference a person with a last name “Saunders”, and have therefore, left me quite confused as to whose version is correct.
Are you correct in stating the name is “Saunders”, or is Mr. William Staubs correct in stating the name is “Sanders”?.

I think the problem lie in pronunciation only. Sanders or Saunders both can be pronounced San*der*s, just depends on how the family pronounces it. I too wondered though.
The article DOES state that LE was “kept in the loop” AT THE TIME OF THE INTERVIEW. It was NOT held back from them (according to Simon & Cobra)
I believe them as Cobra has been hinting around about something like this for what…about 2 or 3 months now.
Now the only question is…why hasn’t LE moved on this and why have they choosen to protect this child molester/rapist over and a law abiding citizen who works hand-in-hand with LE. Are they afraid they can’t make a case against Snodgrass due to Cobra’s involvement and supposed “false imprisionment”?
To me it seems there was something FISHY about this Snothead before Cobra ever met him. WHY was the SO allowed to bail out and WHY has he been out on bond for almost 2 years and not gone to trial??????????? Who does he have by the balls??? I also agree with you, why would they take the SO side over Cobras???
