Ash berry: Recently I read a mainstream news article- probably about Somer when she was first missing. At the end of the article it said that there were two other high profile cases of missing children in Florida. Haleigh Cummings and Trenton Duckett!

No mention of little Adji at all! Trenton disappeared years ago, right? And Adji disappeared in January of this year! I was so mad I emailed the news editor. And I pointed out to him that the reason poor Adji wasn’t high profile is because the news media ignored him and still does. It’s just sickening. The poor little guy has been forgotten.

I am outraged about this BS with TM. He has no evidence what so ever to prove Haleigh is dead, nor does he have any evidence she’s alive. ORLANDO, Fla. — The man who helped search for Caylee Anthony said he was impressed with the speed in which Somer Thompson’s body was recovered.

In an exclusive interview with WESH 2 News, Tim Miller, of Texas EquuSearch, said, “It just shows again what people can do when everybody is working together for the right cause.”

Miller contrasted the search for Somer, a 7-year-old Orange Park girl whose body was found in a Georgia landfill, with the Haleigh Cummings case in Putnam County. Miller, whose group assisted in the search, said Haleigh’s family was not working well together.

Haleigh disappeared from her home earlier this year and has not been found. Miller and his group help search for missing persons and became familiar to many in Central Florida during the search for Caylee Anthony, whose body was found in Orange County woods in December months after she was last seen.

Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death.

The Cummings’ family continues to hold out hope that Haleigh will be found alive. Miller, however, is not as optimistic.

I have my kids watch Lifetime movies with me when it has something to do with teens. That way they get a glimpse of what can happen to them on both sides of the fence. I watch their reactions to what’s going on. It has actually scared the hell out of them. After the movies, we sit and talk about it. They have really opened up with their feelings about what’s going on. It works for us for now.

I know this will offend some but maybe Somer was found so quickly because they didn’t have “proffessional searchers” with hidden agendas there to mess things up, imho.

Yesterday a caller (Bob) mentioned the differences between Misty’s 911 call when Haleigh was reported missing vs. Misty’s 911 call when her purse was stolen.

After listening to both, Misty sounded far more emotional and upset when her purse was stolen than when Haleigh was “missing.” In fact, the 2nd 911 call makes the first call sound even more fake and scripted than I originally thought.

Anyone else think so too?

Wow, I need to repost my last post.

She wasn’t just beaten up and terrorized, and she had just woken up (so she says) on the 1st 911 call.

Okay, I try to keep most my personal life off the blogs, but I’m going to tell y’all what happened to me.

When my kids were smaller, they thought it would be funny to hide from me. They were 3&5 yrs old. I looked all over for 30 minutes, freaking out. I then called my mom, screaming and crying, still looking for my kids, yelling their names. My mom told me to calm down, breathe and get my head together. So I did that. She then told me, Now that I was calm, to call 911. So I called 911, I was calm but I also started crying again. When the police arrived, they found my kids hiding in the dryer. I was so happy we found them, But I was also upset,and scared too. They thought it was funny until they saw the cop.

Another thing that happened to us was our house caught fire, I didn’t call my mom first that time. I called 911 screaming and yelling and telling them to hurry up, that our home was burning. It was a small fire, but still, it was a fire.

So yes, depending on what’s going on and who you call first depends on how the 911 call sounds.

I was calmer on the 911 call when I couldn’t find my kids because I called my mom first.

I was more frantic and called 911 first when our home was on fire.

I know I’m not the only one out there who calls a parent first when something goes wrong. For some reason, no matter how old we are, we seem to think our mothers can save the world.

Toughenough, funny about the kids hiding . . .

My sister was babysitting two of her grandchildren - a 9 year old, and a 4 year old. They had just finished finger painting and were cleaning up in the bathroom. After a few moments my sister realized the youngest had left the room, and was no where to be found in the house.

She ran outside calling her name, ran into the street frantically calling for her.

She went back inside, yelling for her, and looked behind the refrigerator.

Ha ha! There she was!

This Haleigh case swallows up everybody that tries to help. Maybe, someday, we will understand why. Here we are 8 months down the road and, as far as we know, we are no closer to finding her.

I think some new leads will have to come up to encourage Tim Miller, or anyone else to help. It is so sad. I watched Nancy Grace, tonight, and she was talking about this subject. Teresa Neves was on the show, still believing
and praying her baby will be returned to them. Let’s be praying for her.

She, also, had Misty’s 9-1-1 call on there. They were talking about Misty and her two friends out buying drugs and being robbed. From the 9-1-1 call, it sounded like Misty was really scared and hurting. I thought, she is only 17 yrs. old, and she has had so much happen to her. Even, if alot of it is her own making, I hope someone can stop her before she winds up dead.

Misty has left to spend some time with her grandmother in Tenn. Maybe, her grandmother will help settle her down.

I have watched Tim Miller on a number of cases, over a number of years. He is just discouraged, right now. You watch, he will be back in Satsuma, if he gets a new lead and has an idea where to search. Tim Miller has to feel he is really needed and welcomed by the family and authorities.

I think alot will come out about how closely Tim worked with LE on all of this. I think more came from his helping in this case than we know of, as of yet.

A detective suggested that they follow each of the garbage trucks from that area to whatever landfill they were going to so they could be sure what piles to go thru. When the SHeriff tried to give the Detective credit, the Detective said it was part of their training.

I don’t know if there’s different training for Detectives than Sheriffs OR the Detective suggested it first. But it IS part of their training for these situations. In Somer’s case they were smart enough to follow NINE garbage trucks out of that neighborhood, across the FL/GA border to the landfill and searched those specific piles. They found Somer in one of them.

In the case of PCSO (Haleigh), I think the landfill was searched at least two days after she went missing. So the biggest difference is that PCSO may not have known where in that huge landfill the trucks from Haleigh’s area unloaded. A needle in a much bigger haystack perhaps.

JJ - I can’t understand your post.
Searching the garbage is part of the training but it’s not?
And I did not say it’s breakthrough investigative technique. No one has that I know of.

well maybe the silver lining in misty’s parking lot “ta do,” is that she is going away from satsuma. going to her grandma’s at least for a little while is very good. i hope she takes the time to heal, and when she can, i hope she thinks through all her options.

for heaven’s sake misty is still a teenager. she has a lot of life ahead of her. maybe at her grandmother’s she can focus on what is really good for misty, something constructive for herself. if she can just put one foot in front of the other. one step at a time.

now, if there could be a silver lining or miracle for haleigh to come home and be with her family.

Normal trash pick up for Haleigh’s neighborhood was 2 days after she went missing, and PCSO made arrangements with Waste Pro to dump all that trash in a separate area in the landfill so it could be searched.

PAW69, did you notice that he did that on his way out? No longer interested in finding this Baby Girl. When he left last winter he said, this is not as it seems, Haleigh is not here.

Also, saw something about his feelings were hurt last week.. Maybe that’s part of this. What did he base his current concepts on, Lack of Evidence on the Case.. Wow.. I thought that was one of the concepts PCSO had used to determine that Haleigh was alive and a family Abduction. Confusing. I have heard the difference in the written words of the law versus the spirit of the laws, this takes on a whole new variation to the meaning.

I think its time for law makers to pass a law that when a child goes missing and the last person to see the child has inconsistant stories, that le should have the right to legally hold that person for atleast 72 hours on child endangerment charges or something to that effect…pehaps longer. sometimes alittle down time does wonders. I know it sounds crazy, but I can’t help think that if le had more control over the “suspect” or “person of interest” so to speak,well maybe it could work.I think misti would have cracked by now if she were sitting in jail with her freedom at risk. maybe her memory would come back if she had time to come off the drugs and realize how serious this is. And one more thing…Why is ronald not in jail for stagitory (spelling) rape? I thought that was already a law.

What bothers me the most is Crystal has had no emotions through all this. I’m not saying she took Haleigh herself and I don’t think she killed her either. I think she knows where Haleigh is and that’s why she doesn’t have emotions. I think she is jealous of Misty because the kids called Misty mommy. She was due up to go to jail for not paying child support she had a lot going on and I still feel Crystal had someone do the dirty work for her and took Haleigh and put her in hiding and then her next goal was to gain custody of JR. but that backfired.

I believe Ron, TN, Misty, and Misty’s family know alot more than they are telling. I don’t know what or why they are hiding the facts, but they are hiding the facts. I think Ron and Misty have been in alot of illegal drug mess and would be in deep trouble, if all the facts came out.

TN does act like she is in deep grief, and I think, she is covering up alot of what she knows. I believe Ron is a loose canon, and she knows it. People keep on hoping their children will be O.K. Maybe some of TN’s grief is over Ron’s constant trouble. We will see what goes on with him, next. Misty had her turn last week, now, it’s Ron’s turn to get in a mess this week.

I’ve said this before. Put all the Cummings,Croslins,Sheffields and all their friends in 1 room and see who confesses first.

TN was only a dispatcher anyway. I doubt she had any pull to get Ron off on his charges. I am more inclined to believe Ron bribed his way out, or ratted on someone else.

Regarding searching the garbage, I don’t believe for a second that the police searched the landfill for Haleigh 2 days after she was missing.

The dumpster that the cadavear dogs hit on wasn’t searched until something like 2 weeks AFTER Haleigh disappeared. Well after the garbage was picked up.

Tip to sheriff’s office: Find out where that dumpster’s contents were disposed of and search there.

I also found it interesting that Mondex is a UK based MICROCHIP based pay system of mastercard. I think the original intent of the Mondex subdivision was was originally planned to be where a new factory to make the chips in the U.S. would be but the deal fell through and turned into a “dumpy” subdivision. This is the place where they drained the L-pond because of the sworn affidavit. Coincidence!? ok i’ll stop with the conpiracy theories now. Just thought it was interesting where all the talk is heading to in this thread after all the dissappearances.

mel22 - I agree wholeheartedly about chipping the bad guys - first with a golf club over the head (LOL!) and then by implanting a chip. However that does not help with the ones who have not been caught yet or with the first-timers. And chips can help when children wander off.
I read a story recently written by a dad whose little girl had disappeared in a park when he turned his back for five seconds. He was able to track her and find her at a nearby playground where she was INSIDE one of those tube things kids can crawl thru! She had the little chip or whatever tied to her shoe.
That was one happy dad, I can tell you.
So maybe both ideas are good!

mel22, I agree about implanting chips but I’ll bet you that some parents will do it. Hopefully in a way that can be removed when the child is of age!
But even with implants the worst of the worst offenders will “deal with that” you know? Unless it works as a warning. Kind of like most burglars will pass by a house with a dog (supposedly) because a house without one is just easier.
So then the problem will be that the poorer families won’t be able to protect their children that way (if they want to).

i am not sure the police believe it is a family abduction. but, someone close to a family member or someone just having a association with ron or misty since, haleigh was living with them at the time.

I think it’s pointless to even try to figure out why they are texting. Besides, the lawyers have only advised them. Basically for protection. If they go text happy, let them. It’s all in black and white now what they are saying anyways. Who really cares if they are texting??? i think there was a florida case, a baby girl was abducted from the home at night when everyone was sleeping. the couple also had two older boys. the police observed the father talking on the phone and another call came in on the line, he did not take the incoming call. the police argued not answering a phone call was suspicious. he should have taken every incoming call if he believed his daughter was missing. it could have been information about his daughter or even the abductor calling for ransom. (i would not call it proof, but it sure seemed odd to me to not take all calls.) also to be fair, i should mention the father said the police altered facts and evidence in their case.

anyway, if crystal was using phone in picture you referenced. (she was literally shaking herself, when she walked over to ronald to comfort him or pray for him.) i think that is normal when a child is missing to take phone calls or messages. it could have been important, it could even have been possible news about haleigh.

i am looking to find another video, but, if i see the one where ronald is crying on the ground i will try to post it for you. i think i have it right about what happened. would you do the same for me, if you see it first? i would like to see the video again for myself.

On the mom’s defense I don’t think there is a certain profile that states the “correct” way for a mom to grieve. Somer’s mom to me has been broken but also amazed at the loving response of the community. Her making so many public appearances could be from her gratitude, it could also be she is doing it for Somer. jmo

Elizabeth Olsen was murder by a 15 year old not a sex offender but by another child. This world as gone crazy just plain craziness.

Looking back in Arts archives he has video clip under the heading Dad denies drugs march 30th, 2009. In that clip at the very beginning it shows Crystal walking up to console Ron. She kneels beside Ron with a picture of haleigh in her hands.
The archives did not have Feb. to look for the video of Ron not answering a call to his phone. I will continue to try and find it though.

I saw Crystal in a video clip right before she was interviewed by a news station. She had to pull herself together and she stated she did not want Haleigh to see her that way if she was watching. I have not seen that much emotion from Marie as far as tears. I see more anger in her. She was out raged in one clip in which she was condemning LE in Putnam County.

PAW69: There were some real tender scenes during those prayer group videos, where Ron, Misty, Crystal and TN were all comforting each other. They were trying to pull together and support each other until Geraldo went in there and pitted one family against the other.

Of the 5 or 6 emails I sent to Fox News about his nasty words concerning Somer not one responded to my complaint. I guess they don’t care as long as he gets good reviews. Whatever!

treece, with Geraldo, like with most shows, it’s the ratings (number of viewers) and the advertiser those ratings bring in. So I guess LOTS of people are watching Geraldo. There are ways to measure the ratings (which I don’t understand). But it sure might help if we wrote to the companies who advertise on his show and tell them we’re not buying their products if they continue to advertise on his show! The power of the “customer!”

Trust me, there are so many inconsistancys here that don’t have misty’s name on them, that its becoming consistant. And each one is slowly being broken down.. everything is being broken down.

Traveling to Satsuma that first day.. my goodness, I have heard 3 stories for that one, and only one makes real good sense. And the night of the first vigil, wow that video was a find.. Very close friends and family were ask to join that Vigil. That one breaks another story down.

So, many little things happened in those first few days.. but somehow got lost in the shuffle.. in Rons direction.

Oh, my favorite.. I kept asking where were the children the weekend before Haleigh went missing.. And Crystal said, she had not seen them in Two weeks. Wow. I finally got my answer.. I know where the kids were that weekend.

Crystal stated, “I have not seen the kids in 2 Weeks”. Why wouldn’t she have them on the 6-8,
she and Ron were on very very very good terms, until the 8th. So Why would Crystal to be claiming Ron had them for two weekends in a row?? Okayyy!!! So, what is the real story???

Remember Rons fast trip to Grandma Sykes for Haleigh’s favorite outfit..
She had clothing of Haleighs at her house, she made sure she brought them to the house, to make sure that Haleigh had clean clothing for school the next morning. Misty apparently didn’t enjoy doing laundry, It was easier to step over I guess, why no detergent or very little detergent, very possible the Thrusday BREAKUP, of the relationship and the weekend party had interfered with Grocery shopping.

No, I haven’t told very many people anything.. Too many wars at hand.. But it is time for people to start really looking at things and start asking questions.. Because if it sounds too good to be true.. it probably isn’t. And when people start asking questions and asking why are there so many different stories for one occasion.. Immediately the squad comes in to bash.. People have been expected to take what they were told at face value, and stay in thier corner.

I know some are convinced of guilt on Crystal’s side and some are convinced Ron is responsible and others that Misty is solely responsible (or in cahoots with Ron).

But a lot of us really do want to share ideas and debate so we can learn info and theories and really try to figure this out. Personally I have not made up my mind about who is responsible. So I would like to hear your thoughts. People can disagree - in a nice, civil manner - but if they get nasty we’ll just ignore them, okay?

i too have wondered what the children were doing that last weekend, encase it mattered. you know, for example, maybe they spent time at a park and someone there “noticed” haleigh.

as far as when crystal was suppose to have children, it was my understanding, crystal’s weekend was supposed to be the
13-15th of february. marie and crystal on camera were saying it was two weeks this weekend that they were to have the kids. i believe those statements were answers to question on or near weekend of the 13-15th of february.

jan 30th - feb 1st crystal
feb 6th - feb 8th ron
feb 13th - feb 15th crystal

i always have wondered about crystal’s statement that ron did not want her to take the kids when she was suppose to because of school??? what the heck, did that mean? she was entitled to have them every other weekend. was he begrudging her those weekends? i hope not! if he was, he was denying his own children their mother. they had a right to see her, and she them. i am not sure what that statement meant, because, he was talking about haleigh missing school???

i think i got the dates correct and the rest is just my opinion of course. please correct if i am wrong.

if crystal’s week end was the 6th - 8th, and the kids were in crystal’s care (did i understand you correctly?,) i wonder what haleigh was doing. who was she getting exposed to? same example, as above - who may have encountered her the weekend before she went missing. (i will look to see if the video’s have dates on them - that will take a lot of time for me (not good at looking things up.))

somebody earlier, mentioned some bad people in crystal’s extended family? i meant to ask who they were talking about. i think the implication was that maybe someone on her mom’s side (family or friend) may have had a “thing” for haleigh. do you know anything about that?

also just so i understand the weekend issue better.

could you tell me WHO dropped the kids off and where were the kids dropped off AT on friday the 6th? (for instance did ron or theresa take them to crystal’s or marie’s?) and specifically who returned the kids on the 8th? (did crystal, chad or maybe marie return them to ron’s house or one of haleigh’s grandma’s - t.n. or a.s.’s?)

you said someone told you, do you personally know someone close? i do apologize if i should know this, i still have not gone back and read what everyone has written. (maybe i need to read everything before i keep asking everyone what they know? it is not fair to you. i do feel behind most of the time! i am hoping the facts of what are known get posted on the forum. that would really help me. it is really hard to catch up.)

of course i realize the police know the answers to these questions. i was just wondering if the answers are know to those following the case online.

i did also miss the details you are talking about “crystal’s day of timeline”. i don’t know about the prank business. if she thought the call was a prank, she could have called the police and verified what was going on. if she did not come, then obviously something is up with that! i will try to read about that some more.
