Pyramid schemes have been around since the pyramids were originally built. I am not quite as old as the pyramids, but I have been around the block a couple of times. I think it was in the early 70’s when I received a letter from someone I had never heard of. It suggested that I send $1 to a list of ten reciepints listed. The letter assured me that within mere weeks I would be rich beyond my wildest dreams. All of the people in the list would each find 10 people, and those 10 people, plus the ten people they found, would all be sending me money! I would not have to work, I would be too busy opening all of these envelopes with cash in them!

Needless to say, I did not take up the offer. Rather than sitting on a large sail boat somewhere  wonderful, I sit in front of my computer, I work 16 hours a day, every day, as does my wife. There is no easy life. There is no ‘gateway to financial freedom’, there is however an opportunity to break out of the working mold, there is a way to make it on your own, but trust me, it is not an easy journey.

The Internet has produced even more opportunities for me to become rich beyond my wildest dreams. I get offers everyday, I had no idea that my family were so rich, nor that they had moved to Nigeria, The Ivory Coast, or the various other countries that that I get these emails from. All I have to do is reply and these fine folks will cut me in on a $30 million dollar deal!

I guess I am just too old, I always smell a rat in these ‘too good to be true’ stories. But what about those late night infomercials? There are so many that offer rags to riches stories? Often the story revolves around real estate, how you can buy a house for under $100 dollars, and sell it for $200,000.

Needless to say this is all BS, but the industry continues.

There is also a much more insidious layer, they do not want you $50, they want your life and soul, they want your children’s inheritance, and they will stop at nothing.

I have been sworn to secrecy, but a book is coming out on Monday that blows the lid off of one such organization. Oh, and for you conspiracy theorists, it is not the Scientologists. This is an organization that is into retail.

I have promised not to launch the review until Monday, because the law suits will be flying! The one thing that the author does not need, is an injunction. I have been sitting on this hot book for a week. We are talking explosive!

I will give a teaser as to the company, in their latest TV ad they claim to have huge amounts of   sales each year. Who are they? Ah, you will have to wait for tomorrow.

A review of the book will be published here on Blogger News at 9am central, and I will be interviewing the author on the radio at 10am central. More details in the norming.

I will give some sage advice, get your book orders in quickly, by noon tomorrow there will be some heavy hitting attorneys knocking on judges doors!
