Wow, your comments are nothing short of scary.

The fact that you think a show of force (which has been proven lethal sometimes) is okay simply because a student SAT DOWN instead of moving? Just, wow.

So do you also think the fire hoses turned on the civil rights protestors was okay? Because they didn't move when they were told to?

You clearly don't know anything about this case. He agree to leave peaceably (AFTER he was racially profiled by being asked for ID when no one else was). But he wanted the officer's badge numbers... which they failed to give.

Even the LAPD has punished these officers, agreeing that they were way beyond the scope of the law.

If we follow your logic, we may as well be china.

It is a simple matter to identify oneself. Even if he did not have his ID on him he could have used words to ID himself. Especially in today's computerized world.

I don't know the exact stats but thousands of citizens a day are stopped by officers and are not tazed. It is only the uncooperative people, as this person was, that find force used against them.

Simple rule. When asked for ID don't get confrontational. Show your ID.

I'd like to see you get up after being tasered at least two times. I'd like to see you become one of the many minorities that are constantly discriminated against within this country. Is it so SHOCKING to think that perhaps the person being tasered is of a higher intelligence, to know about JUSTICE and the PATRIOT ACT? Is that so incredibly unbelievable? The ability to SPEAK is not the same as the ability to STAND when you are being TASERED. Also, Mostafa is his name, and he decided to prostest with non-violent means. Yet they continue to tase him while he is already on the ground? Is that fair to you? Hmm.
