Legal action can be taken against not only the paparazzi, but the media outlet that purchases any photo that was taken illegally (nothing to do with consent).  This was an amendment to a law that only fined the paparazzi when they captured a photo illegally.  The significance of the law is that now media outlets that purchase the photo from a paparazzo who took the photo illegally can be held liable.  Key points – now media outlets can be sued (not just the paparazzi) but only on photos captured illegally.  Consent has nothing to do with it…yet.  That will be another law down the road.</description>
