We will be running our regular look at the Haleigh Cummings and Caylee Anthony cases on Sunday Oct/11 at 3pm Central. We will have our regular panel of the Barretts, News director for WSKY 97.3 TJ Hart, Private investigator William Cobra Staubs, and crime writer Denny Griffin.
There have been some interesting developments in both cases.
Misty Croslin and Ronald Cummings have apparently gone their separate ways, officially citing pressure from the media as a contributing factor. Yet both seem to now be on a media binge! Earlier today Misty Croslin appeared on CBS and started the finger pointing.
Misty Croslin and her new ‘well heeled’ friend managed to get into a road rage incident. There is still more to be revealed about this. Not much digging shows some interesting connections between the party’s involved and an independent news blogger Steph Watts. I believe that a certain other Blogger is involved, however I am still trying to confirm that.
Tomorrow Oct/10 marks the 8 month anniversary since Haleigh Cummings went missing.
There has also been some activity in the Caylee Anthony case. Judge Strickland has ruled that George Anthony’s grand jury testimony can be unsealed. I am sure that it will make for some revealing information. The Judge is also expected to make an announcement about the fraud case that Casey Anthony faces.
The other news is something that I find very offensive. The defense team has made indications that one of their strategies is to implicate Jessie Grund in the killing. A ridiculous line of thinking, but these folks are clutching at straws. Both Jessie and his father Richard Grund are fine upstanding people. In fact my opinion is that they cared more about Caylee Anthony than her own mother Casey did.
In the last ‘document dump’ there is an idiotic email thread (incomplete) between Cindy Anthony and PI Dominic Casey. In it are references to Pastor Richard Grund and suggestions that he is an actively involved in occultism.
This ridiculous claim has been picked up by supermarket tabloid the National Enquirer. They have quite the story running in their latest edition. I spent quite a bit of time talking with the understandably very angry and upset Richard Grund last night. I do not think that he is going to take this laying down. I see law suits flying in the very near future.
