What had Obama done in February? As best as I can recall, he had done nothing but take an oath and promise to close Gitmo. Maybe the Nobel committee was hoping that Obama's hope would become reality, and the world would finally have some hope. So far, Gitmo remains open. One unkept promise, and he wins the Nobel Peace Prize. My hope is that Obama's hope doesn't become a reality.
