In the State I originally came from such an action COULD have been construed as contributing to the delinquency of a minor. I am not as familiar with the laws of Florida, however, so anyone who wants to enlighten me, please do so. It would at the least call into question her judgment.

Me, I graduated from high school in the month of May when I was 17, started a major University in August as I turned 18. I also worked for a State Law Enforcement Agency, hours 4-12 full time and attended college full time. I graduated with honors, even though I worked 40 hours a week. No kids, or husband. That came way later.

Far cry from Miss Misty. Fast forward 10 years for Misty and she will look exactly like her meth head Mama. Her teeth are already turning black.

She always mentions that blanket smelling like pee and washing it and then putting it over Haleigh. It seems important for her to mention for some reason washing the blanket that smelled like pee. But I can’t see how that would matter one way or the other. I’m guessing she is just kind of bragging about how she was taking good care of her?

Why don’t you just buy a rubber mattress pad, they are not expensive and they prevent the urine from leaking on to the mattress.

I agree. I think PCSO is terribly negligent about checking SO’s homes.

And to add insult to injury, Cobra got in hot water for cuffing one after the bonding company told him too…one that was hanging around the bug center….very suspicious activity obviously could have been trying to see where investigation was going and shouldn’t have been around children.

I went up on stage one and deliberately pretended to be hypnotized because I wanted to refuse to do the stupid things they make you do like cluck like a chicken etc. I went through some of the motions and he kept me up there.

When it got to the part where he told me to do that, I just looked at him and said, “No, not gonna cluck like a chicken.”

I figured he would send me back down, but this guy was good. He said, “Your fighting it” but instead of sending me down offstage, he walked over to me and said, “You stutter etc.” I looked at him and said, “No, I don’t stutter.”

He then leaned over and whispered something in my ear. I did not “consciously” even hear what he whispered. The next thing I remember is “coming to” while still standing on my feet listening to the audience laughing. My friend in the audience said I stuttered like crazy for him. All I remember is a “time lapse” happened.

Slid right off my chair for him later too I was so “under”….

That guy could have had her under whether she fought it or not if he had been a really good hypnotist whether she was faking it or not.

He didn’t test her. Really, he didn’t test her to be sure she was really under and then if she wasn’t under, make sure she went under. Darn, and that would have so worked if they had gotten a really good hypnotist.

Even though NG is showing reruns and hash, she is keeping Haleighs name out there, and keeping her in the news. I think that is wonderful.

I also think with the high number of sex offenders in the area, they should be checked again and again, and probably should have been checked more thoroughly in the beginning. Remember Jessica was alive, and Coueys trailer was searched-they didn’t find her. He buried her in his yard. Have all the SO yards been checked? closets, floor spaces, under trailers? Sweeps done for her hair or DNA?

I also think Tommy and Joe need a MUCH closer look-they had access, they had means, and they possibly had motive. Maybe Misty was drugged? I believe it is a sure possibility.

There was a plan. Person A made the plan. Person B altered the plan (possibly unbeknownst to Person A). There was a Person C involved in the plan. What Person C knew or did not know beforehand is a question.

I think that the fact that there were three different trails, going in three different directions, that the dogs hit on supports the idea that there was a plan.

look at the lock on the back door, the deadbolt only has a lever to turn to locked or unlocked, there is no key hole on the lock at all except on the door knob itself. So lets put it to rest already, the door could have been unlocked by anyone who got inside the trailer.

And there are plenty of times where children are taken from their homes with no one hearing anything. If this was a normal suburban family, that would not even be in question.

I doubt polygraphs in general ever since I found out Ted Bundy passed one, but I agree. I would think calling someone a liar right in the midst of a polygraph could make them so nervous they register nervous as can be - hands sweating, trembling etc…the rest of the test even if they were telling the truth. I wasn’t impressed with the hypnotist either. I’ve seen much more effective stage hypnotists.

The fact that the doors cannot be locked or unlocked from the inside without a key leaves me puzzled? “Why not say, I must have forgotten to lock the door. I sure thought it was locked?” Why say you know for sure the door was locked unless you really think it was and are puzzled and wondering yourself how the heck someone got in?

As far as a pedophile watching in the boonies…that’s exactly what Garrido’s wife said he did. He watched Jaycee get off the school bus and came back the next day and grabbed her when she was alone. This was also in the boonies (Lake Tahoe). So SO’s do stalk even in the boonies…and if the SO was Tommy (Hank) or cousin Joe, they would know:

ron would be at work
Misty would be passed out from her three days with no sleep partying, etc.
and haleigh would have let them pick her up with no problem

I understand that NG’s show last night was a recap of old info, and it is interesting to see all of the old clips with our knowledge now. Where I felt mislead were the commercials that made it sound like Ron and Misty would be appearing on the show.

I was wondering the other night if they let her dress herself or if they have a wardrobe dept at HLN and they put that crap on her.

The biggest problem I have with her is that she asks questions like a lawyer and not like a journalist. A lawyer only asks something that they know what the answer will be. A journalist DIGS and uproots.

Polygraph questions are yes or no only. You can’t ask questions that require anything beyond a yes or no.

Polygraphs are a tool, basically. LE can take the results, and use them to further question people. For example, to take one of your questions you wanted asked:

“Here’s what i would ask misty.How did the childnapper enter the residence if you say it was locked?”

Another way to ask that would be:

“Misty, was the back door locked?”

If she states yes and shows deception, LE could question her further about an unlocked door.

“Nancy Grace has been promoting for a week now that on Thursday, October 1, the hour would be a recap of the timeline and players in the Haleigh Cummings case. Yes, it was old news and yes, we heard old sound bites over and over again. Not everyone knows what the story is about Haleigh and this was more or less a catch up on the facts if you will.”

Agreed, Marianne…we were warned that Oct 1st’s show would be a “special” on the Haleigh case, and anybody familiar with Nancy Grace knows that these “specials” are nothing really special. (Except for someone who perhaps knows nuthin about a case!)

Here’s something that bugs me about “Ms Nancy” that I haven’t seen anybody else comment on: The funky, big, brightly colored, gaudy, over-the-top, costume jewelry she wears on an almost nightly basis! Yes, there are many other things she does that irk me, but her fashion sense in the “accessories” department really makes me cringe! Tone it DOWN, lady! How about some tasteful pearls, or a simple, elegant gold necklace? No, it’s gotta be lime green, or hot pink, or fluorescent yellow, and it’s gotta cover five square inches of the TV screen! LOL!!

I know that Ron and Misty go on and on about how that back door is always locked, but what if someone accidentally left the front door unlocked? It would be easy for someone to come in the front door and then open the back door unless the only way to open it would require a key in the dead bolt on either side. But usually dead bolts can be opened from the inside without a key.

Nancy grace is good at grabbing the audiences attention. Some in the audience might want to throttle her, but they watch. She needs better material - more reporters out there doing investigative work to get back to her sooner with accurate information.

Someone else was saying once that the problem with news reporting nowadays is there are not enough investigative news reporters…one reason people have started reading the national inquirer….they actualy have investigative reporters even though it is a crap tabloid. They don’t just sit and wait for news to fall in their lap.

If she is going to put up pictures though, I wish she would take more pictures of them smiling or laughing. They always seem to be looking at the camera with the same expressions on their faces as a deer caught in headlights. She’s got enough money. Get a professional photographer that knows how to get children to relax in front of a camera.

Putting pressure on Casey did not get her to talk. Putting pressure on Misty is not going to get her to talk. It almost has the opposite effect.

Unless and until we have evidence (like decomp in the trunk of the car as in Caylee’s case) that indicates the child is dead, Put Haleigh and Adji’s pictures up every dad-gummed day in case someone walks by the television set and realizes they know where one of them are.

But, J, I disagree.

Of course we want to keep Haleigh’s name in the news/on the air. But, what about the other kids that are missing? Haleigh isn’t the ONLY CHILD missing.

I mean Nancy could take that 10 minutes of repeating herself and say “Another missing child: blah blah blah” and show pictures.

She repeated herself. Stuff, we already KNOW! We look to News for NEW NEWS.

Anyways, just a thought.

8 months later and Haleigh is still not found. They must of done a great job hiding her. Misty isn’t going to confess (if she did it) - she isn’t going to jail. FOR Murder… for LIFE. AS she already explained “I’m only 17, what more do you want”…. (yawn).
