I so agree with your post being about this being a place to share your ideas and opinions as well as offer each other venues to actual case information to help each other understand this situation better. I also agree that it doesn’t matter if you are a grammatical wizard or not. Personally I don’t mind reading a post that isn’t perfect. I usually look beyond the grammer and try to absorb the message. I usually find at least 1 error in every one of my posts, no matter how much I think I’ve proof read it. Any posts I make about this topic are only in the spirit of friendship and not meant to be taken negativly. Sorry if I offended anyone with my prior post.

If what you suggest is true, then why in the past 7 months, Has Misty not said to LE “I just remembered something from that night!” or “I stated a time wrong, it should have been ____.” Anything of that nature? Preach on, I agree with many things you have said. Time will tell. When I was involved in a murder investigation if that one person had not come forward the case would still not be solved today.

The police don’t care, she is just too stupid to know how badly this is hurting the investigation. Many investigators will tell you that cases can be solved by details that people often feel are insignificant in some way. She needs to just come clean and lay out that timeline so le can dig for those little details she may not know she knows. I feel she is convinced that it is too late for her to tell the truth as she fears Ron would leave her. Misty probably thinks that she has told enough of what happened that night to let le get the perp, but she has not. I also think that her timeline is mushy because what 17 year old watches the clock to know when they passed out on the couch? Or went pee? I don’t even check that most nights. I think that Misty’s love and concern for those kids was just a ploy for her to get closer to Ron. I also think Ron married her to better position himself in the custody battle for jr.

Also, weren’t alot of her timeline statements made in the hours after the abduction? Lots of times interviews are conducted for hours and hours with little sleep, how do we know that she was even thinking straight? I know myself when I was that young and going through all of that, Haleigh missing, Ron freaking out, searches, interrogations, and tv interviews, I would have been a zombie by the end of it, even now.

I still think the characters are stealing the light off of the real crime here. Someone took Haleigh. We think we as bloggers have a puzzle putting this all together? think about what le must have to sort out having all we know and all we don’t know and trying to decide what is relevant and what is not.

Thanks for the info on crane company. However, they would not have employee’s clocking in using fingerprints if they had not had a problem in the past with employees clocking in for each other. Where there’s a will, there’s a way to get away oftentimes no matter what company’s do to curtaill it. Apparently, others saw him at work though, but that doesn’t preclude him doing something in the afternoon before he left for work.

ron’s family has been enabling him for years. I believe either the grandmother or the mother would throw themselves in front of a moving train for him and wouldn’t hesitate to lie to cover up for him. Annete has zero credibility with me. Teresa has zero credibility.

It is also possible that Ron left some drugs lying around and Haleigh got into those after he left for work and he knows he is the one that left them there…and Misty is covering for him. He tried to call her 20 times and apparently the phone pinged in the trailer?

His supposed tears seem so phoney to me. The rat in Misty’s brother’s mailbox. The money spent on a tattoo instead of looking for Haleigh? If I were him I would be tagging along beside Cobra everywhere he went trying to help as much as I could with Cobra’s investigation…begging people to talk to Cobra.

Ron’s getting expensive tattoes, getting married and putting decapitated rats in his brother in law’s mailbox.

Also, I still think going to work early could be relevant – he doesn’t appear to have a great work ethic (as evident by his current work situation). I would be curious to know how often he did arrive 30 minutes early.

She would have been lethargic, cranky and maybe even vomiting. When head trauma starts to manifest it comes rather quickly. (I give you the video of Gator’s QB hurling as he’s being carried off the field in the game against KY after his concussion) Haleigh would have looked sick, not just sick but pretty bad off, and would not have been hollering like Sykes reports she did.

If Ron hurt her two (maybe even three) hours before AS came by it would have been noticeable by then. And if anyone was going to say they thought something was wrong with Haleigh before she disappeared it would have been AS. Because she wouldn’t care who it fried.

I also think that Nay Nay’s letters were written at the suggestion of PCSO – they can varify that they spoke with her, but not the “truthiness” of it. They are trying to start the whole pitiful, drug-charged group fighting against each other to make someone talk. IMHO anyway.

And the brother stating he went to the home, just now came out when she filed a RESTRAINING order on him.
These letters came out, b/c the police made up some BOGUS story and that’s why they don’t want the story out.
They tried tricking NayNay into admitting something because they knew she was a partypal.

Haleigh was seen alive and eating dinner after Ron had left for work. I can’t remember the exact time he would have left for work, I think that shift starts around 4 or 5 pm and ends at 3:30. Which means that to get home by 3:2? he would have left work at around 2:45 or he would not have gotten home when he says he did. That’s checked by the time clock, and no one could have clocked in or out for him because it’s a hand scan.
PDM also has some very strict rules about missing work or leaving early. He was also seen on a local store’s security camera just before the 911 call was made.

I don’t think Ron is completely innocent in all this. He did leave his kids in the care of a hungover and exhausted teen with no coping skills while he was still arguing with her. Add to that the needs of kids that aren’t hers when she is a selfish prat and that’s a volatile combination.

It’s more likely that Misty was the one to lash out and Ron’s not covering for her exactly, he just thinks he’s smarter than the cops and can get the info himself.

Did Cobra say that? I absolutely agree. Except his alibi is not that air tight. Where does he work after he clocks in? Does he run a “mobile” crane? Would he use a company pickup at work? People have been known to use company vehicles for personal reasons.

What’s more what about the short period of time between picking Haleigh up in the afternoon and Ron leaving for work that evening while he was arguing with Misty? Did he accidentally lashout and kill Haleigh and then did Misty start covering for Ron?

She would have had until 3:00 in the morning to not answer his phone so he could set up enough cell phone pings to help with his alibi (after Casey Anthony – everyone knows about cell phone pings now)…..etc.

Thanks for sharing your story. You make a good point. In order to really investigate something, it is necessary to keep one’s mind completely open to innumerable possibilities until there are enough actual facts to make a really good case for something…especially in a small town where if people have nothing to gossip about, they are likely to make something up.

The bottom line is even if a theory is correct, without actual proof or eye witnesses, there is nothing anyone can do about it anyway.

At this point, my questions are:

Who is this Joe Pysko? A little background information on him would be nice.

Where is Joe right now? Has Joe disappeared or is he still in town?

Has Cobra talked to Joe himself yet?

Second question, who does Joe say he heard about Haleigh overdosing from (since he says he was not at the party)

Third question, have the police interviewed Joe’s source?

Has Cobra talked to Joe’s source?

Did OCSO and the FBI run around for 7 months sporting the “Casey is the key” mantra? NO.

OCSO and the FBI took the cards they were dealt in the case and played their hand.

Why has PCSO not done the same? Why have they insisted on basing the outcome of the case of a missing little girl on somebody that they (LE) believes is not telling the truth.

Move on and find this baby! HaLeigh is a citizen of Putnam county, Florida, and the United States, she not only deserves but is entitled to ALL of LE to be doing everything in their power to find her and bring her home.

I thought it was only one footprint, which is bad enough. I wonder how far the water is from the house. Could she have gone down there with her brother’s children in the afternoon?

I love my crime shows and it always seems like when the cops get stuck on a case, they go back to the beginning and start over. What I remember from the start is this, a 5 year old is missing and the dogs followed her scent to the railroad tracks behind Ron’s home.

Maybe this is just an abduction. Some perv was waiting for the right moment and saw it that night.

I am feeling strongly like Misty is only being ‘deceptive’ about being at the trailer with the kids through the entire evening. She is too scared of losing Ron and doesn’t want him to know she would leave the kids alone. All the shady characters are clouding the situation. Maybe none of it matters.

Who cares if Misty and Ron want to sneak off? It has been 7 months of hell for them with every move under scrutiny.

I think we should all remember what we say about this now cause we may owe these people a big fat apology when all the chips fall.

I guess I just feel like all the character assassinations are crossing the line from opinion to discrimination.

And I am not singling out BBN at all, I mean everyone. This has turned into a circus and I am beginning to understand why le keeps to themselves, look what they have to deal with on the rumor side of this case. And they have no obligation to share any of it with us until they have enough proof to press charges on someone.

I am going to bed tonight and am praying I don’t wake up to America hunting down Misty on her ‘vacation’ and instead to finding Haleigh.

As for someone stepping forward to say what they know … come on already. Where are your consciences … does Haleigh deserve to be treated with such little concern or respect? She is a lost child without her family and brother. If anyone knows, stop the BS and help bring her home. Period.

As for the “messenger in scrubs” … sure hope they got the name of the one she was delivering for. So, maybe this was like a two-part tip. Go for it.

And I’m just gonna vent about how Misty is still roaming the ‘hood. Oh puh-leeze, there’s gotta be something that’ll scare her enough into talking the truth. Un-frigging-real how 7-plus months go by and she’s still on everyone’s lips, yet free as a bird.

I’ll share my personal experience.

A long time ago I married a man and his ex-wife was murdered a few months later. She was killed with a 25cal pistol and I had one registered in my name. The night she was murdered we had been out with my ex’s sister whose was in town for a visit. I thought at the time this was odd. My ex-husband was very jealous and he never took me out in public. We went out had a few drinks and came home. Early the next morning the phone rang and we were told that his ex-wife had been shot in a convenience store where she was working the night we had gone out. We went to the hospital and she was made an organ donor. There was no video, no fingerprints, no witnesses, no clues whatsoever. The hardest thing I have ever had to do to this day was tell her two sons age 5 and 6 that their Mom had died and that I did not know why.

Even though my marriage had been rocky with him I had been trying to get pregnant. Some people thought I had something to do with it because I wanted more children. I found out I was pregnant shortly after the murder.

One day my ex-husband and I were home alone. He walked in the living room and said, “Watch this.” He proceeded to go to the door, open it, walk outside and shut the door behind him. He came back in and asked me, “How can you be sure I did not leave the house the night she was murdered? You had a few drinks and you are a sound sleeper.” I rarely drink. Had he and his sister taken me out for this reason? It scared the hell out of me. I shared this with my boss at work and she informed me that detectives had already spoken to her and they were waiting for the right time to talk to me. She took me in her car to talk with the detectives. I shared this story about the door and a few other things with them. They said, “We do not want you to put yourself in harms way but please stay with him as long as you can. Anything you find out could be helpful.” They took me to my father’s house where I had placed the gun in safe keeping in case it was the murder weapon. Forensics proved it was not.

I moved out while he was at work. Thirty minutes after he got off work he walked right up to my apartment and told me that I could not hide from him. He had called the electric power board and tricked them into giving him my new address. I was so scared. Had he killed her and would I be next?

I found out the ex had a very long rap sheet. I found out that he was going to hearings without my knowledge to gain custody of their two sons. The ex was applying for social security benefits and filing law suits. I became very suspicious of him. Of all the people suspected he had the most to gain from her death. I even tried to help his ex-mother in-law gain custody of the two children.

I divorced him and moved on with my life. He reminds me of Ron in some ways. My daughter and I have moved on with our lives and we are doing fine. We have no contact with him. Unfortunately now the two sons have followed in their daddy’s footsteps and have long rap sheets too. Like Haleigh they didn’t stand a chance either. I tried.
My ex-husband did not murder her. Three months after she was murdered the murderer’s uncle turned him in. He was a mental patient that was pissed off at his girlfriend that night. When he walked in the convenience store and saw her making coffee that night he explained that she reminded him of his girlfriend so he killed her. His uncle turned him in because he feared eventually he was going to kill the girlfriend too. He is in prison for life. He did not get off with insanity. No one had come up with this theory. It was a total shock to everyone. He had never met her before. He did not know when he killed her she was the mother of two innocent little boys whose lives were ruined because of her death.

I am in no way a fan of Ron’s. But I do have firsthand experience of suspects saying and doing stupid things.

I echo the voices of many. Please someone come forward and tell what you know to help solve this case.

The SO questioned her about a lead they already had, and she apparently denied any knowledge pertaining to said lead so they gained no new information.(For SO)

Prevatt then wrote letters telling her mother and bf about being questioned ‘Cobra’ got hold of the letters and all the sudden its a new lead that could solve the case.

You as well as others in the press ran with this ‘bombshell’.

In doing so you revealed a part of an active investigation and thus may have harmed the investigation instead of helping it.

If SO had wanted the information about the alleged party made public I am certain they would have given it to you.

I do not think the letters themselves are a ‘farce’ the way they were handled by the press has indeed been a ‘farce’ (a ludicrous situation). IMO
