Well, I think I can answer that one for ya, Ted: it probably has something to do with the fact that when Republicans were elected to office on this very platform, most of them turned into little Democrats. Two words, Ted: deficit spending. Two more: larger government. One more: hypocrisy. Republicans hate that stuff.
