Here is the problem. No one cares about the poor people that this organization is supposed to help. I have an idea and a plan to fight poverty, hurt feelings and crime, and ACORN would not listen to me nor talk to me because I was told they were only interested in my "problems". I told them I am very careful whom I share my problems with because of my spiritual convictions. The Baltimore city office turned me away in 2006. My youtube is missmamawatt, I recently had my book published, and I am still looking to get off the ground for the sake helping poor people, not controlling the less fortunate or selling out to the devil with evil, lewd, and illegal plots.

I would have to agree that any advocacy organization should be as transparent as possible. Was ACORN, apparently not? This definitely adds another layer to the controversy. I would say unless there is an active effort for more transparency with funds that federal support should be cut, but that decision should not be solely based on recent findings by this conservative group. I am not convinced that this part of it is systemic.
