This just in from TJ Hart of The Sky 97.3. We all know that it was an insane weekend in the Haleigh Cummings case. TJ and I were discussing some of the wilder events of the past 72 hours and decided to share them with PCSO - Simon
I spoke with Lt. Johnny Greenwood and others at the PSCO about the list of wild rumors took on lives of their own after authorities revealed they were looking for evidence of Haleigh Cummings in the L pond they were draining at the Mondex south and west of Palatka off US 19 over the weekend.
Rumor 1) A submerged car had been found with skeletal remains of a small child inside.
“No”
Rumor 2) A car was taken from the pond on a flatbed truck.
“No car was taken from the pond. There was a car towed on a flat bed from a residence, but not by us or for us. I would suspect that the person that owned the car had it towed for whatever reason. We have nothing to do with it or know who the person was.”
Rumor 3) Nay Nay Prevatt had told officers that the “car” belonged to Greg Page.
“No”
Rumor 4) Greg Page’s photo appeared in the jail booking log as Tyrone Djuan Hunter. Was he arrested in this case?
“Don’t know about the jail photo, Page was not arrested or questioned as a result of the Cummings case”
Rumor 5) Misty blew her brains out.
“As of today, we are not working a death to Misty”
Rumor 6) Timmy Croslin came back to the area from Mass and was causing trouble—name heard on the scanner.
“Apparently Ronald made a complaint against Timmy for harassing phone calls”

OH, and these rumors were the more credible ones! There were lots of others, but they would only have appealed to an Area 51 fan!
TJ you are right, there are so many agendas involved that it makes my head spin. Name a person, there is an agenda.
The family, the hangers on, the party folks, members of the media, members of the counter culture media, everyone has an agenda. You ask to what end? Mostly it is for that elusive Warhol 15 minutes of fame.
I will not lie, if BNN did not have readers, we would go out of business, if TJ did not have listeners he would be out of a job. But neither of us has made a dime off the Haleigh Cummings story. We have invested more hours in it than I care to think about, why do we do it? We both hate injustice. We both have many other commitments, but we want to see a resolution to this case. So, that is our agenda! There is no book or movie deal, we do it because we care.
It’s just crazy. Plus we have other rumors floating around that Crystal missed yet another appointment of taking Jr to see his therapist. I just read that one today. Then I saw a link posted to Marie’s twitter account where she explains that the appointment was cancelled due to Jr’s Dr./Therapist being ill. Agenda driven?
Obviously some posters are the dog in the “intranet” fight?

Seriously though, How is any of that going to help find Haleigh?

Simon you are so right on I could give y’all a tear filled hug. Why wouldn’t folks want to just do the right thing, no dollar sign attached? No publicity attached but just because! Just because there is an innocent little girl out there somewhere? We were all small Children at one time and we looked to the adults for solutions, guidance, understanding and trust. What if this were us or one of our own Children, wouldn’t we want people to be helping out just out of the goodness of their heart because they could?
All of you absolutely have my respect, well, and a “virtual” tearfilled hug too.
I don’t know what motivates people to spread rumors. Are some people so cruel as to WANT to cause agonizing grief to Haleigh’s innocent family members with these lies? Are these rumors simply a result of utter stupidity and a lack of ability to interprit the English language? Are these the people who never learned the definition of words like apparently, allegedly, appears, claims or reports?
BLOGGERS HAVE A SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY TO IDENTIFY RUMORS AS JUST THAT BEFORE PUBLISHING THEM ON THE INTERNET!
There are so many bloggers who are mature, responsible, intelligent, caring people who report legitimate news on their site which stimulate some great brainstorming, investigation, theories and sometimes tips. I think I can speak for these people when I say we are appalled to be associated with those who create and spread these rumors.

Is this an exact quote from PCSO? Why does it sound so strangely worded? I really don’t want to give fuel to any rumors (Stop in at the Palatka Huddle House and you can really hear some wild ones) but that just sounds very badly worded without any other context attached.
Saturday Morning, a question came into my mind, Do I ever want to be involved in anything as crazy as this has been ever again.. The Answer is NO..
The question.. Why not shut off the computer and Walk away.. The Answer, because that Baby Girl is still out there, and Needs to Come Home.
I have no explanation for why this occurred on Friday.. Was it responsible behavior.. Hell no.
I thought all involved were responsible adults, and then had to realize.. People are capable of doing some very mean things, and have no idea when to stop.. Or was it a plot? Needless to say, when things go really wrong, and you have good intentions.. Can you imaging being grabbed up for doing things really wrong with bad intentions.. And this time, I have a feeling, people are going to be grabbed up..

If Jr. had a appointment today then maybe Ron should have drove 2 hours away to come and get him.Im sick of everyone blaming Crystal for crap when shes the only one who seems to care about her daughter (and her family).I don’t see Ron,Misty or anyone in his family doing crap but for being ungrateful for what LE and the FBI are doing.
Star_Bright, marie stated on twitter that Jr could not go to the doctors today for the appointment, because the doctor is ill.. so, whats the fuss. Wouldn’t matter who takes him, if the doctors not going to be there…
TJ just released news Alert.. Tommy Croslin checked the house at 10:00pm, no one was at home. No lights, no tv, no response at the door. Ron had called Tommy and ask him to go over and check the house…. So, the timeline is beginning to change..

If Ron is the Daddy who had custidy he had the responsibility and the little girl had his promise he would take care of her. He let her down. She most likely saw or heard something she was going to tell him. She died for that and he is protecting or siding with those baby killers. Are the authorities really leaving anything in his care, much less the other child.
Tommy told PSCO that Ron called him to go check on Misty and Tommy went down to Ron’s trailer at 10pm hour, knocked on the door and got no answer.
Per TJ Hart’s update. So, will LE now put Misty behind bars? That is the only way she is going to talk!
I don’t believe misty and I’m not going to get my hopes up yet on what Tommy is saying is true.

I’m just saying this is what people will start doing.Blaming Crystal like alot of people do.Ron never gets the blame for anything that he does or did do.Ron needs to take responsibility for his children that he has custody of thats all im saying.Ron will make a big deal about Crystal not taking JR to the doctor becuase he thinks he’s father of the year and in his eyes Crystal can’t do anything right.
If the doctor is sick then no big deal.I think Ron should be taking him anyways.Since he thinks he’s the better parent.If he thinks he’s the better parnet then he can drive his happy ass 2 hours to get his son for his doctors appointment (if he had one today).

Crystal gets visitation rights with her son. Perhaps it was her day to have him and take him to the Doctor??
Either way people…STOP with blaming Ron. He failed his child and well as Crystal failed her.And that is something they BOTH will live with the rest of their life.

The night Haleigh went missing, THAT NIGHT, was NOT Ron or Crystal’s fault. They failed her way before that night or that night wouldn’t have happened.

Maybe Butterbean is with Crystal this weekend and she was going to take him to the therapist before bringing him home because she is the one that got a court order for him to go in the first place. Then the Therapist got ill…it happens. Some of you need to get your head out.

Thank you Simon and Tj for doing what you do in keeping this precious little girl going. I know they will find her and the truth will come out it just taking so much time. Apparently someone is talking majorly into the case maybe Tommy is who knows but someone is talking… We all will have our answers to the questions and who were involved with what happen to Haleigh. LE maybe holding information back so it doesnt hurt the case and just maybe why Ronald said of the family isnt getting information about anything cause it might have something to do with him or the whole family itself including his wife. Cops do that they hold back information so it wont hurt the case and I think thats what they are doing.
Where ever Haleigh is may God be with her and holding her in his arms. The truth is coming I have a feeling I dont know when but its just a feeling.
As for spreading rumors, lies people just are so darn cruel, apparently that just means they have nothing better to do or they arent happy with what is going on in their own lives. They wouldnt even no the truth unless it smacks them in the face. Those are ugly people….

My question is this: Has LE known from the get go that Tommy Croslin went to the trailer at 10PM to check on the kids per Ron’s request? OR, did Tommy just now come out with that highly important tid-bit? Did LE suddenly decide to release this information to the media? Did Tommy go all around the trailer to check? Did he check the back door..try the lock, etc. Or, did Tommy suddenly decide to spill his guts in jail? If so, WHY would he not provide LE with this info until now?? Check Ron’s cell records..it w/show right there if he called Tommy. Have Tommy take a poly.
I can’t understand why LE hasn’t charged Misty Croslin-Cummings with obstructing an investigation or something - anything to scare her into spilling her guts. FGS she has failed 4 polys, a voice analysis and hypnosis didn’t work. What do they need for crying out loud?????

According to NG, NO the LE didn’t know he went to the house looking for them at 10. Ron’s mom was on, and she states she doesn’t hold much value to what the brother says.
