I've seen the agony of this cancer on many workers. Usually a death sentence. The manufacturers and contractors denied that it even was a problem. Insurance wouldn't pay because they said it was a workers comp claim and workers comp wouldn't pay because they said it's an insurance problem therefore family's are sued for medical bills. It can ruin a family financially before it's settled. I've seen through my own family the nightmare that this has caused. My husband was blackballed by contractors when he was called to court to testify in asbestos cases. I pray that there will be a solution to this disease in the near future.
