We have a very busy lineup this coming weekend.
On Friday Sept 18 at Noon central, 1pm eastern we will be putting on a special update about the Haleigh Cummings case. My guest is TJ Hart of The Sky 97.3 and we will be having a one-on-one discussion about this weeks events. The fire seems to be increasing in intensity in both the Croslin and Cummings camps. Misty’s older brother Tommy Croslin remains behind bars in Putnam County facing a theft charge concerning a hand gun. With Bond set at $50,004 it seems unlikely that he will be going anywhere fast. This development is an interesting one. While police are publicly saying that this arrest has nothing to do with the search for Haleigh Cummings, I know that there are some behind the scenes rumblings to the contrary.
Last night father Ronald Cummings made yet another ‘yawner’ of an appearance on HLN’s Nancy Grace show. Quite honestly CNN should have saved the expense of booking a studio, it was a complete waste of time and money. Even Ms. Grace seemed to be having a hard time keeping her temper in check. Misty Croslin meanwhile seems to be laying low. As TJ put it, there are so many Croslin’s throwing themselves under the bus, they are getting tangled up around the axle!

On Saturday Sept 19 at Noon central I will be running a special update on the Adam Tavss story out of Miami Beach Florida. In a four day period in June Miami Beach PD officer Adam Tavss killed two unarmed men. Last weekend CNN ran a segment on the story that was completely spun in favor of Adam Tavss. The families of the deceased men are outraged. We will be hearing from them, and also attorney John Contini. For more information on this program please read this article. This story has not received the media attention it deserves. I hope to change that.

Ron looked great last night? Wth? Is Nancy Grace a fashion show now? His suit was ill fitting, the sleeves ran past his hands, I think it was his attorney’s suit he had on. His face resembled the cold mug of a certain Hitler style and all he could mutter was a constant and repetitive “I dunno” and somehow the public is suppose to give a rip on how he looked? The old saying bears true, you can put lipstick on a pig, but RC is still a pig.
He certainly gets my vote for worst father of the year, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and so on. He did nothing to help find Haleigh and only impeded an investigation time and time again. He makes me sick.
Good job Simon, keep pushing on with finding Haleigh, eventually the truth will come out and then we can listen to how hot he looks in his orange jumpsuit with his ankle cuffs as an accessory.

Well, maybe misty needs to start acting like a big girl, cleaning house, dusting and cleaning the walls just everything, scrubing floors on her hands and knees, have her up at six and cooking every meal, washing dishes, and she knows how to do launry, huh? with detergent? and that clean washed clothes go into the dryer.. no fun with friends, hanging out, and she can go out to the yard and do a bit of mowing. I’ve been following this case from the beginning, and analyzing the audio of Ron & Misty for what is known as Reverse Speech. To be brief Reverse Speech is messages from our unconscious mind embedded backward into our speech. This can be heard by reversing a recording, and amongst the gibberish the reversals can be found.
According to the reverse speech of Ron & Misty they are not involved with, nor do they know who abducted Haleigh.
Misty has talked about how her brother Tommy could have abducted Haleigh, but she has speech reversals that indicate why she believes her cousin “Joe” did abduct her.
It’s been reported that the police believe Misty is not telling everything she knows, but her reverse speech indicates she is. I have found reverse speech from Capt. Piscitello of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office from an interview he did with TJ Hart on 8-27-09. In one of his reversals he indicates law enforcement believes the abductor to be a blood relative of Misty, and that is why they think she is holding out on information in order to protect that person.
Misty’s reversals indicate that if she were certain who abducted Haleigh, she would not with hold information no matter who it was.
I currently have reverse speech examples of people surrounding this case that not only includes Misty, Ron, Capt. Piscitello, but also Jerry Snider, TJ Ward, Marie Griffis, and Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch.
From what I have found so far is that Speech reversal is a relatively untested new age concept, from what I have learned about it from the internet anyway. I am admittedly not familiar with it. Is this speech reversal technique accepted and utilized as a research and investigative tool by law enforcement? It is very interesting and I wonder if there are any legitimate documented testing and/or case studies examples that can be accessed for a look see?

I have read a bit about reverse speech analysis and it is fascinating. I read on one of the forums an analysis (perhaps it was done by you) that both Misty & Ron were not involved.
I do wonder, especially with the newest developments of late, if one of Misty’s relatives could be involved. It’s a scary thought.
You said that you have reverse speech examples from some of the people in the case. I’m wondering if you would be willing to share your work with us? I think this area of study is quite fascinating. Like I said, when I first heard about it, I did a bunch of reading on the topic and would love to know what your work has showed if you would be willing.

I used audacity and found some interesting reversals from Misty’s hypnosis session. During the part where she says “Airbuds, they watch it over and over and over” if you reverse it she seems to say “You’re a wh*re, you’re a wh*re, you’re a wh*re…..shouting it, shouting it!” I believe this may be the fight that was told about from 8:30 pm the night Haleigh disappeared. I have plans to anylize all of that session, plus some of Ron’s recent NG appearances. If you would, please listen to the section I described.

I have reviewed that session, and the results I’ve found are posted on my site. The audio in that section you’re referencing is terrible. Throughout the interview it sounds like there was a fan blowing on the microphone. Because the audio is so bad in that section the best I believe I might hear as a reversal is “I would shout it (at)”. This occurs when she says “[They watched. They watched Air]bud. [ ] are where the reversal occurs. If that is correct, I would guess that reversals means she might have complained to them, or even yelled at them, about watching it so many times.

People are more than welcome to believe what they like – psychics, crystal balls, fortune cookies, dreams, whatever. First off I have an independent site where one CAN find information on the subject of reverse speech! AND there are many other independent sites that document reverse speech.
Wow! you copied and pasted the writings of an anonymous person from Wikipedia, who I doubt ever spent any time actually investigating the phenomena. Wikipedia isn’t exactly known to have factual articles posted. Funny you should bring this article up though. Because I just recently started a thread on David Oates forum about the fountain of mis-information this highly biased article spews out, and what can be done to set the track record straight. It seems those at Wikipedia make it difficult to make corrections, so one can only wonder what forces are at work to hide the truth about the validity and accuracy of reverse speech.
A quote from David J. Oates on my thread about the Wikipedia page; “Wikipedia allows you to make your own alterations to the page which I did a couple of years ago only to find that they had removed my alterations, and changed the page altogether to what it is now.”
So why is it that information form the person who discovered reverse speech and has spent more than 25 yrs. researching, and documenting the phenomena isn’t allowed to present any of his findings?
For you to latch on to the, at best laughable, information on Wikipedia as “information” then you have obviously haven’t spent anytime reading the articles I posted as reference as actual results that have been proven to be factual in regards to the validity and accuracy of reverse speech.
So folks (as M2C says), before you fall for this “information” M2C has provided, I encourage you to do your own research from people that have actually documented reverse speech, and learn from them.

Speaking of questionable tests. TJ Ward claimed in an interview that his “Layered Voice Analysis” test is 95% accurate. But isn’t it interesting that he doesn’t make his results available for public scrutiny? The results of his reverse speech analysis show that his program is highly subjective, let’s call it 95%, and he is indicating he has an adgenda which doesn’t involve finding the truth.

If his program is 95% accurate shouldn’t the program be the determining factor in truth, or “false statements and inaccuracies” and not him?

I’ve seen references to this reverse speech recently and did not say anything until your “it’s been tested” statement. Tested by whom? I’m sure you have “independent” sites – I didn’t mean independent of BNN (or even of Wikipedia!) LOL! I mean OBJECTIVE and professional scientific/linguistic analysis.
All I’m recommending is that the readers here look into this seriously before deciding if they want to believe in it or not.
Obviously to me, reverse speech’s relation to reality lies somewhere south of reading tea leaves. But each to his/her own (as long as no one is duped in the process)
oh, and folks if you do conduct research on reverse speech as ShanWHS said in criticizing widipedia as a source- WATCH WHO THE SOURCE IS!
If it’s Oates, then obviously he’s got an agenda – he dreamed this up! And if it’s his “followers” then question them and their methods. That’s why I suggested independent objective sources which are at least nationally recognized authorities in linguistics and science and psychology. So always check the source of what you are reading! (LOL!)

I want to see the system work too. But if itincludes people like TJ Ward and his “layered voice analysis”, and the polygraph examiners that are portraying Misty as lying, but don’t have to make their claims be held to public scrutiny, it makes me nuts when RS is indicating a different story. These tests are being touted as being accurate that Misty is lying. Her RS indicates she is being truthful. Believe me, if her results of RS indicated otherwise I would be the first to stand on the mountain top and shout it out.
There is a lot of pressure being put on her because of these alleged results of polygraph’s, and layered voice analysis to tell about something her RS indicates she doesn’t know anything about. I just hope, as a seventeen yr. old, she is mentally strong enough to endure it all.

Explain why you believe someone has to be a linguist, scientist, or psychologist to locate and understand the audio from Reverse Speech?

In regards to your “KISS” example, I don’t know that KISS intentionally put words into their songs in reverse, but I know the Beatles did and a couple of other bands. That is known as backmasking and has nothing to do with the natural phenomena of reverse speech.
Skepticism can be a good thing, but when people refuse to do a little research it then turns into pessimism.
While we’re on the subject, reverse speech does occur in songs naturally, and there are many examples that can be found with a simple internet search. I found a reversal in a song on a girl named Anna who at the time was recovering from autism. she is singing the song I Wish. If you were to do a little research on the subject of reverse speech you will find David Oates is not the only one providing examples. Who knows you might even “sometimes” hear a reverse speech example yourself.

I applaud your efforts to do some research!
I previously did some brief research on the Layered Voice Analysis 6.50 from the company that manufactures the software program. Where TJ Ward makes a claim of 95% accuracy, the company makes no specific claims, but does use wording for one to believe it is accurate. No examples that I could find to support any claims. But again, my research was brief.
Firstcoastnews.com is reporting on a current pond search near satsuma not far from Ron and mistys home. It seems as if they have heavy duty equipment and pumps for draining the pond. Rumours in the comments section by some locals say some possible evidence has been found. The first coast reports states Ronald said he did not think he’d be the first contacted — or something strange like that.

As I said, people are entitled to believe what they want. I only spoke up when you said it was “tested” and may have given some readers the impression that reverse speech has any kind of credibility at all (even of the level of lie detector tests which are not reliable enough for use in court or voice stress tests).
I am not here to debate reverse speech. It is a waste of my time and something I am not at all interested in OTHER THAN to help prevent people from getting sucked in to it without doing their own research.
For me to discuss this with you would be like debating whether or not there is validity to reading a crystal ball. I don’t think so. But some people do. And that’s fine – just as long as the crystal ball readers don’t come on here and try to act like it’s verified valid or “tested” in the sense of being worth considering – especially in a criminal case where it can be downright dangerous – talk about rumor-mongering! What a great excuse to base a rumor on! “Well, he/she SAID THAT” (backwards) LOL!

Weird?! Twice now you mention “test” the only time I have brought that up is in regards to the Layered Voice Analysis “test”. But since you keeping bringing it up. How about explaining why Electroencephalograph (EEG) “tests” have shown that brain activity alters significantly when Reverse Speech occurs.
I notice you have failed to previously answer my other questions, so I really don’t expect you to have an explanation for the results of EEG “tests”.
ShanwHS, I think M2c has read all he wants to know about this subject. He has read enough to decide that the limited amount of testing on this subject leaves it as a theory not a fact. That is an ok place to be, a theory that still needs more testing for actual proof. IMO he is just cautioning people to do a little research for themselves. Past that I think you just need to agree to disagree with him and not take what he says as personal. I certainly believe that his heart is in the right place with this.
