Last week President Obama gave a speech to Congress. In it, he claimed that illegal immigrants would not be included in the healthcare reform bill, and that those who claim that they are were fear-mongering and being dishonest. Of course everyone knows now the infamous words from Joe Wilson, “You Lie!” An entire week goes by which sees Wilson getting punished for daring to call the President a liar.
The President, a week later, announces that he seeks to have the wording in the healthcare bill which would bar illegal immigrants from receiving healthcare under the new plan. Now, all of a sudden, the hispanic caucus is outraged, and are considering no longer supporting the bill.
Am I going crazy here, or does that pretty much say that, at least in the congressional hispanic caucus’ eye, the bill, as it stood before, would have provided healthcare for illegal immigrants? And if I further connect the dots, wouldn’t that, at least in the minds of the hispanic caucus, support that Joe Wilson was telling the truth, as it was spoken, on that date?

Seriously, Joe Wilson is now officially owed an apology from President Obama, Jimmy (last worst president) Carter, and anyone in Congress who voted to censure him yesterday…which included the below listed RINO’s. If I were Joe, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackNope: Wilson has not been punished near enough and it’s not for calling the President a liar. It’s for his abominably unacceptable behavior when the President was speaking to Congress.
Behavior that is on a par with Kanye West’s beyond rude interruption on Sunday night during MTV’s VMA awards.
Both idiots did the same thing. Tried to steal the spotlight and called someone a liar (in Kanye’s case I guess the “liars” are whoever voted for Taylor Swift.
Wilson is not going to live down his national performance as a JACKASS any sooner than Kanye is.
And I am very very pleased to see that Beyonce and the audience at the VMA awards had as much class in handling the situation as Obama and Congress did.
Wilson and West = The Rude Brothers. No class asses.
The honorable Joe Wilson was rude- that is a no- brainer. However, the goons of the administration have called hard working, tax paying citizens bad names for simply disagreeing with their socialistic ideas. NO outrage from the press ensued. That tells us something about the press.
Many of us agree with Mr. Wilson’s accusation. Anyone who has read portions of the bill would agree.
A man who lies deserves to be called on the lie. It takes a courageous man to do the calling, when the subject is the president of the United States.
I Mr. Wilson just wanted to let you know how proud my family and friends are of you for having the guts to stand up and say what we would all like to say.
If you would have just said,the reason you shouted lirer was you had just heard Obama call all the people who is speaking out against his health plan were liars and he put liars on your mind and it just came out.Hope you can us this information.

Now Wilson must be aware that he was a bad boy. Rather than formally disapproving of Wilson, why not send him to the corner for 15 minutes to think about what he did. Wilson was obviously aware that the Democrats disapproved of what he said, and that the Republicans didn’t. That’s why the vote went along party lines. I don’t see the point of formally disapproving. If the resolution was to make a point, then they should have made a point. Instead, Democrats chose to stick his nose in it and make him sleep in the backyard.
Ever wonder how the camera happened to be focused on Wilson at the exact time he yelled “you lied”? It’s a setup..for whatever reason. Out of all the members of congress the camera happened to be on Wilson.

Your spelling and grammar are a disgrace to the south. Carter was an awful President, however the presidency of G.W. Bush made the man look brilliant by comparison.
I’m amazed that Congressman Dana Rohrobacher’s name is on the list of RINOs to be voted out. He had been an anti-illegal proponent for as long as I can recall. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Thank you.

This whole issue of illegal immigration has been hi-jacked by the racist ethnic interest groups, like the ACLU(yes, the ACLU)MALDEF, LULAC,MECHA and of course, LA RAZA. They have characterized Americans who believe in the rule of law, and immigration enforcement as racists when they in fact, are the racists involved in criminal activity against U.S.law.
Democratic politicians like Nancy Pelosi, and others call U.S. citizens Nazis because they want their laws to mean something. Obama is a liar, because he openly says illegal aliens WILL NOT GET U.S.TAXPAYER PAID HEALTH CARE, but is going behind the taxpayers back to give border criminals, foreign nationals illegally in this nation–AMNESTY. These politicians are devious, sick, and demented bastards and bitches, who couldn’t care less about American citzizens. Sorry, no more hypocricy, I gotta call them as I see them.
