This is all great, but it occurs to me that if all Christians lived up to the teachings of Jesus, they'd have already solved the problem at hand. We're the richest country on Earth!

Given that there are millions suffering and even dying for lack of health insurance, I find it unconscionable that any American would oppose any attempt to provide the uninsured with health insurance at a rate they can afford. We're all in this "having a body" thing together, yes?

"So I do not support the premise behind their articles whatsoever, as it is based in political gain, not edification of Jesus..."

"See, what the liberals need to know is that it is very ill-advised (understatement) to twist the words of Jesus to gain political favor."

It just seems like everywhere you look, it's always those crazy liberals using the bible for their political gain isn't it? You see it every day with all the anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, creationism, and "moral majority" talk that liberals are always spouting off. It's so refreshing how conservatives never use the Bible for their political gain.

Ronnie, my boy, you are so right. If Jesus were around today, I'm sure he'd give your gun-toting, hate-spewing blog posts a thumbs up... but not in a political manner at all, of course. Just out of common sense.
