There is another bizarre turn of events in the disappearance of 6-year old Haleigh Cummings. The father Misty Croslin-Cummings, Haleigh’s babysitter-now stepmom who was supposed to be watching the child the night she disappeared, left a strange message on the phone of Texas Equusearch Director Tim Miller claiming Ronald Cummings needs $35,000 to get the child back!
Recently Tim Miller with Texas Eqqusearch was asked to once again help search for the child. Two weeks ago, Misty Cummings asked Miller to arrange a polygraph to clear her of suspicion since police had publicly said her stories of the night in question are inconsistent.
Misty failed both the polygraph and a voice stress test. She is now saying she was duped into taking the tests.
On August 28th, Misty Cummings’ father, Hank Croslin Sr., left a voicemail message for Miller claiming Ronald Cummings told him “If I had $35,000, I could have Haleigh back.”

Miller sought the help of a fellow Texan and friend of Millers, Roy Moffitt of Roy Moffitt Customized Fueling Inc.. Moffit has since written a check to Ronald Cummings for $35,000 payable upon the safe return of Haleigh.
The Sky’s TJ Hart asked Miller what exactly the $35,000 was for. Miller said he was only concerned about getting missing Haleigh back and that he “didn’t give a damn.”
Hart now has in his possession and has forwarded copies of telephone messages of Croslin making the $35,000 claim and another one from Ronald Cumming mother Teresa Neves from August 18th.
In that message, Neves appeared to be concerned about Misty’s state of mind, saying she won’t even be in the same room as Ronald,and leaves to talk on the phone privately and is acting “crazy” Neves urges Miller to come to Florida quickly because Misty ”is ready to crack’

Hank Croslin CLAIMS that Ron said “If I had $35,000 I could get my daughter back.”
IF Ron said that, what it means to me is that he thinks he knows someone who has information or has Haleigh. And if he could pay this person then they’d give the info or give the child back.
NOTHING about what Croslin said Ron said means that RON knows what happened to Haleigh.
There has been more than words exchanged between the Croslins and Ron - it came to blows! So I’m sure the Croslins have it in for Ron and are obviously doing what they can to try to get him in trouble.
But even IF Ron said what Hank says he did, it does not mean Ron knows anything.
That’s clear as day to me.
What Ron said sounds like what the father of a kidnapped child being held for ransom would say: “If I had x amount of money I could get my child back.” (Thinking that if he could pay the ransom, the child would be returned.)
Now IF Ron does know someone who wants $35k (secretly/without LE knowning) before sharing info or returning Haleigh, ALL chance of that is totally blown with all this publicity.

If it was a ransom why didnt it come back in february then now. It doesnt make no sense but I still believe both Ron and Misty knows exactly what happened to Haliegh.
If I was Tim Miller I would look into it more carefully before handing money over to Ronald this man is damn lazy wont work he just wants other to support him.
There is a lot of “bad blood” between Daddy Hank Croslin (did he sexually abuse his daughter Misty) and Ron Cummings.
I put no faith in Hank’s message to Tim Miller.
Interesting - as a side note - on other news articles and blog spots - Tim Miller is taking a hit as a media hungry bad dog that is putting Haleigh at risk.

Come on now,sounds like the sh– is about to hit the fan.Misty is ready to crack,the mother in law said.I could tell you that myself.Look at hat girl,she is getting tired,she wants out,she is scared too.Ronald is trying to get some money,maybe to run with.Funny thing it is the amount of the reward.Oh I am sure Ronald knows full well where that child is,and he knows Misty wants to tell now.As for Tim Miller,the Cummings bunch called him to “find Haleigh”but really Misty wanted him to get the heat off her.He only wants to find the child,not pull the heat off others,so let the man do what he came here for.Don’t give Ronald a dime.I sure pray that someone will look for her and let Ronald stew in his own gravy.God be with Haleigh.Misty tell girl,don’t let him control you.It is time.
After everything that Ron & Misty said about Tim Miller, it just shows what kind of a man he is that he would continue to help with this case…I know he didn’t write the check but IMO it wouldn’t have been done without Tim Millers assistance. Tim deserves so much praise for his efforts not the bashing he’s been getting by these people! I’m glad that they cannot cash the check unless Haleigh is returned safetly, I hope it wasn’t a ploy just to get money not that it matters if they can’t cash the check. Maybe Ron or Misty owes a drug debt & Haleigh is being held because of that….I pray it works and she is alive and well. Only time will tell!

It is obvious that the Croslins will try to make Ron look bad with every opportunity. And they have an ally in Krystal. I feel bad for Ron, and in a way Misty, who knows wth happened????
This does not sound like a neighborhood most would want to live in, let alone raise kids.

With all the shenanigans going on with both sides of the family, I don’t want Haleigh to come back to either of them. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see a live, healthy, and happy child returned….but I think both she and Jr. need to be placed elsewhere. This is a horrible environment for both of them and who’s to say this craziness won’t happen again. I sincerely hope that I am wrong in my belief that Haleigh is no longer with us, and the evil-doing was on the part of Ron and Misty.
First, I want to say, I do not get much involved with blogs, message boards, forums of any kind. But I read here. I listen to the shows that Simon has. I read in some other places, but have low tolerance for BS or rumor for rumor sake….

Woops, wasn’t finished! What happened? Anyhow… I do not know why I feel compelled at this moment to write. I have spent so much mind and spirit time on this precious little one. I know sometimes you folks who are out in the trenches can feel very alone. You are not. Maybe physically….. But there are those who are with you. You may make mistakes, who does not?

My base question is, I guess, Is what are the reasons a child would be taken. That is a tough question to have to examine. But forget the drama and make that list. I made it for myself along time ago. And when you look at the situation, the case, some of the reasons can be be scratched off the list as it “wouldn’t apply.” So, what are we left with?
Why do I write at this time? No idea, except she needs to come home no matter what that might mean. I understand that I can not understand the physical anguish that those of you who are physically on this case must endure. But I must say that in a sense I feel it with you as I think of this chid, as I think of a humanity where these things are a very real part of life. As I think of our race. The reason that you are all there is because there is something very wrong in the world we live in. It is not new, it has many forms.
If I had a point, I lost it. Many things happened since I began. Many mundane things, homelife stuff. But never give up. If your quest is truth, if your quest is pure, if that quest cannot be compromised by the lies and deception that come from somewhere more sinister than a 17 yr. old babysitter/wife.
Thanks to Simon, Jan, Cobra, Tj, Art, and many more…. Thank you that no matter what the crap is, this child will be felt and not forgotten.

I was using the example of a kidnapping situation to help describe my point about what Ron supposedly said.

Good morning, its okay but I still dont understand how he needs this if it isnt a ransom. If someone is holding this precious girl all this time wouldnt they have stepped forward and telling the family what they want. Why all of a sudden they need this money to get Haliegh back? Is it cause Misty is about to crack the story open and then everything will be out in the opening and Ron could possible get in trouble so he is looking for help to get out of the state…. Too me its all to fishy.
On the othe post you bad mouth Crystal about her stuff in her past. Lets see if you read the same actricle as I did her and her family added to the donation to help find Haliegh she doesnt sound like a bad of a person. Atleast she is making efforts to find Haliegh the best she can.
I have two words to put all of this in a nutshell. Drug debt. Neither Ron nor Misty will say what the money is for because they have known all along that Haleigh was taken over a drug debt. I just hope to God she is still alive and they can get her back.

There has been a continuance in Cobra’s legal proceedings to Octo 12, 2009. Just left the courthouse with Cobra and others…..video coming within an hour. Also in that courtroom was Mr. Snodgrass–the man Cobra was allegeded to have falsely imprisoned— and Jermome Williams—the man known for selling drugs and runing the pink brothel behind the Huddle House off Crill Ave in Palatka, FL where Nay Nay was videotaped being picked up for revocation of bond.

I don’t think there has been a ransom called for - and Cobra’s losses & expenses have gone way over $35K now so I don’t think they go together
I think Ron had Misty thinking she could pass the test and had her to take it, why would she take it? He thinks he’s real smart taking the heat off misty now by saying he can get Haleight back, maybe he can? But why has he not said this before?WHY WHY WHY???
could the 4 yr old girl that is saying she talks to haleigh really in fact be butterbean/jr?

We listened to Misty ramble on and did anyone Catch her saying that haleigh was wearing pink shirt (AGAIN) and panties..we know le has the pink shirt…yet again misty is having a hard time keeping lies straight..someone get a switch already..

gatorgirl: The last time I posted about Crystal if I remember correctly was in response to someone who wanted the children taken away from Ron and given to Crystal BUT she did not know anything at all about Crystal. I suggested that she read up on Crystal before she made a decision like that. Personally I think poor Haleigh got the short end of the stick with both parents. I have never favored either one of them.
And one of the things that I do not admire about Crystal is that she managed to NOT take Haleigh to over a dozen doctor’s appointments. Now that’s kind of important for any child nevermind one that has serious health issues.
I really doubt that a large amount of money will get Haleigh back. Ronald spouts alot of things, apparently, such as telling Cobra, Art, and several of Crystal’s relatives that he was 95 percent sure he knew who had Haleigh.
I wish something would work and Haleigh could come home, at last.
The whole works of them are scum sucking bottom feeders who are trying to cash in on the crime. Ronald sees this as a chance to get some easy cash….YOU ALL KNOW THE CHILD IS DEAD AND EITHER MISTY DID IT ALONE (doubtful as she could kill but not cover up as she is clearly a complete moron) OR RONALD DID IT AND MISTY KNOWS DAMN WELL AS I THINK RONNIE BOY WOULD BE TOO LAZY TO DIG THE WHOLE TO BURY THE POOR KID AND MISTY IS SUCH A WHORE SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR SOME MAN WHO BANGED HER. Hey Tj, you mentioned Crill ave. as where Jer. Williams runs the brothel behind the huddle house. Can you give the crossection street so people can zoom to this position on Google Earth , etc. Or anyone else familiar with Palatka
nm , Tj I found it, its crill & south state road 19. according to appraisal records of 3905 crill its owned by Walter a williams(probably a relative of JW) . If theres aknown brothel there they need to bring this owner in on maintaining a drug dwelling and question him on the goings on of the place to get the names of some possible players involved in the mess. Its also interesting to note the church of God across the street with a school playground behind it. Could this be the place Amber Brooks dumped the contents of her trunk(the one mentioned in the fake search involving John and Jeremiah Regan? I think everyone should google earth this spot! its interesting.
