After months of seeming stagnation, the search for missing Haleigh Cummings has hit high gear once again. The past week has seen a great deal of movement. I for one would love to be a fly on the wall of the Putnam County Sheriffs Office.
The whole story started to unravel on August/17 with a press release from PCSO, they essentially said little, yet said much. Ronald Cummings is not considered a suspect, neither is his teen bride Misty Croslin Cummings, however Misty’s story has a lot of inconsistencies that do need to be accounted for.
In the past week news has been breaking, Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch was asked by Misty to arrange for another polygraph test. Tim graciously paid for Misty and Ron to travel to Orlando and spend two nights there.
I watched the Nancy Grace show last night and found it illuminating , like a broken light bulb! Ronald Cummings and his lawyer managed to effectively duck every pointed question put to them.
Early this morning I was talking with TJ Hart of The Sky 97.3, and we decided that it was time for an ad-hoc program.
Even better, TJ had just got off the phone with Tim Miller and was able to play some sound bites from the interview. Tim Miller has a far different recollection of events than are being reported by Misty Croslin Cummings.
In order to get as much information flowing as we could, the phone lines were not open, however the discussion was followed keenly on Twitter.com/THESKY973DOTCOM and the Blog Talk Radio chat room.
The discussion moved to several areas, the Polygraph, the Voice Stress Analysis, and the Hypnosis tests. None of which are admissible in court, but are useful tools in determining the credibility of witness statements.
Both TJ and I have heard many stories concerning this case, and an old one cropped up while Misty was being tested, the four visitors in the trailer that night theory. Those people have names, and as TJ said, those names are already in the possession of law enforcement. Is there validity in this claim? That is one of the big unknowns.
We also touched on the cell phone story and federal bugging of Misty and Ronald. Personally I do not give a whole pile of credibility to the theory, but it does seem to be utmost in Ronald’s mind.
What I found most interesting today was the obvious divergence of stories from Tim Miller, and the Cummings family. Who do you believe?

Misty knows something she is being controled but that devil… Its wearing her down and sooner or later she is going to tell. Ronald is trying not to let her or anyone in her family to tell. Look at the dead headless rat that was found in Misty’s family mailbox… I am sure they are were going to say something but he put a stop to that as well. If this man supposely lost the weight then that is on quilty concusions for not telling the truth to what happen to his daughter…All of it doesnt make no sense they get married, they move out of the house. Now what if Haliegh was trying to find her back went back to her home and her dad and stepmother wasnt there it is all to darn suspious if you ask me they know exactly what happen to that precious child and he is right some one will fry it will be him cookin g. I can see it and I feel it in my bones he had something to do with it, just looking to point the blame on someone else. Why else will misty have doubt in her husband…..
Open letter to Ronald Cummings:
Hey you hillbilly dirt bag piece of white trash!!! Your time is almost up and the charade is OVER!!! Wake up and face reality and do the right thing and CONFESS!!! You have done everything possible to run and hide from all this and your poor innocent daughter is the last thing on your mind. You and Misty know damn well what happened that night so put an end to all this BS and stop running from the truth and tell the world what really happened to Haleigh. Then you can spend the rest of your life rotting in hell where you belong!! Your lucky you don’t live in NY because we don’t take kindly to scumbags like you who only care about saving their own butts instead of doing everything possible to find their child. What comes around goes around and you are about to get EVERYTHING YOU DESERVE!!!
TJ, interestingly I noticed last night that you only let messages through on your Twitter that YOU like. I thought you were “fair and balanced”? Did you not hear Mr. Cummings say please call in any information on *anyone*, his emphasis, and that *whoever it is can fry*?
As long as you communicate with the number one rumor monger in this case, the one you called well-intended, you will lose your credibility. The lawyers are very aware of that person and where she gets her information and have copies of all her posts.
Simon, thank you for keeping HaLeigh’s case in the news. It is much appreciated. Just remember that you warned about the circus long ago and I don’t want to see you fall victim as well.
As TM himself told someone “things are not as they seem”.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard something about Ronald thinking his phones are being bugged. I can’t recall which of Misty’s party buddies it was that said she told them (after Haleigh went missing) she couldn’t talk to them on her phone because it was being monitored.
So, yes, this is exactly the kind of thing that would come out of his mouth. Not that anyone would ever believe his word over Tim Miller’s.
I just hope that this doesn’t detract his desire to help locate this beautiful child.

The public realizes you want your daughter back. We the public want your daughter back. However, We cannot even get a timeline due to Mistys inconsistencies. Its very odd to me that you would marry a young lady while your childs missing. The young lady who was in charge of your daughter while she went missing, who failed a lie detector, Went on a drug rampage the weekend before with a colored man, and you still seem to marry her. I am not racist but we know how much you dislike that race.Maybe its to keep her quiet? It looks so bad on your behalf putting a headless rat in her brothers mailbox. It sends out the message ” Rats die”.What would they rat about? Ronald? What do they know. Its evident that you are all in on this.Question? Where are the cell phone records of all parties? Why wasnt the van scratch made more of a big deal. I mean thats only where her blanket was left?

What in the world do you mean when you say that Ronald dislikes “that race”? (ie – African American).
Have you followed this case at all? One of Ron’s best friends, OT, is African American. He is frequently pictured with Ron after HaLeigh went missing.
Even more important is the fact that Ron’s own niece and nephew are both half African American. There are many, many pictures of Ron and his his niece and nephew, as well as HaLeigh and Junior with their cousins.
There is enough rumors in this case, let’s not stir the pot with more. All facts & IMO. TIA.

Good show T.J. and Simon. I found the remarks made by Tim Miller, particularly, interesting. The one about Granny Sykes yelling at Misty and coming out of the house saying, “I told that little B—- if she wanted to live two more days, she will take the voice analysis test.” You notice she took the test. I still believe Misty is coverin up something for Ronald, maybe Granny Sykes will get ahold of him, next!
I do not understand how the child welfare office could leave the little boy in this home…I do not hear anything about the mother…but you always are hearing about the dad and the stepmom.

I was thinking the same thing as a lot of you! I had not been checking up on this story in a while, after hearding all of this and seeing Ronald on Nancy, its like he and Misty are looking out for each other. I wonder if after Haleigh was taken to the hospital if maybe they did not give her, her meds and maybe Misty set her clock to wake Haleigh to go to the bathroom and found her dead? If they were found out they would lose Jr, remember when Misty could not get Haleigh to go to bed? Well maybe she could not get her to take her medicane, REMEMBER THE PICTURE WHERE SHE LOOKED REALLY BAD? And her grandmother took her to the hospital! WHY WOULD A MAN NOT LEAVE A WOMAN WHO DID NOT PASS ANOTHER POLYGRAPH TEST AND HE TAKES UP FOR HER? HE MARRIED HER? If this did happen? She found Haleigh dead from her falling at the play ground and not taking her meds, what would they do? just lose Jr or try and cover it up by saying someone took her? I think Misty is covering for Ronald! U can tell she’s a nervous wreck everytime u see her she’s puffing a cigarette. He married her to make her think he really truly loves her its obvious she has NO self esteem. I think Ronald got rid of the body on his way to work. And the plan was to make it seem as if she found her missing before he got home. He just seems so nonchalant about his dtr missing and wanting to know the truth. If my kid came up missing while my husband was watching them I’m sorry, but until ur name is cleared we are NO LONGER together!
I agree with Nini. He did this and he’s letting her take the fall for it. And getting married was to prove their bond. How come he’s never crying while talking about it? I would be in tears everytime I had to talk about it. his mom is always crying but he never really cries. Ronald you dont have anyone fooled the police are going to break you. And like you said “let the guilty person fry” you are going to fry!!! Playing the victim doesn’t always mean you wont become a suspect. I’m sure the police are looking @ but just getting all evidence together so that they can hang your as*. Do you think you’re smarter then these detectives? I think when the police question them again they should have meth just happen to be sitting on the table. They will be so focused on it they will end up telling their whole life stories. and the truth will come out. Misty needs to realize the truth will set her free Ronald wont be able to hurt her any longer, he probably said “if I can do this to my own dtr don’t you think I’ll do it to you you little B****!” since they always seem to call her a lil B all the time.
He [Ronald] probably put her body in the trash bins outside by his job. Because he knew 1st thing police would do is search the area where they lived. And that way he’s still @ work and has an alibi because everyone @ work can verify him there. He obviously has issue to even date a young teen girl. Hearing the 911 call sounds so rehearsed, mark my words daddy dearest murdered his lil girl! And his young wife is going thru all this to protect him.
Of all the missing persons cases, Ron is the only parent that seems truly distraught. Did any of you see him the first days of her disappearance. When Misty tears up it’s crocodile tears, because she knows what happened. The police would know if Ron had anything to do with this. He has been CLEARED. The focus is on Misty and very well should be. She was the last person with her.
