In the big yawn inducing event of the day, father Ronald Cummings appeared on HLN’s Nancy Grace show. It was a delightful adventure into avoiding actually answering any questions sent his way. One has to wonder if the shirt and tie he was wearing was actually his own? It was not well fitting, but maybe it was the best that the studio had at short notice.
What we learned tonight was…. absolutely nothing.
There was much waffle about polygraphs both from Ron and the entire panel. What I find humorous is that had the polygraph shown that Misty was telling the truth Ron and his lawyer would have been shouting it from the roof tops, instead they are talking about its unreliability.
In the light of all of the recent developments TJ Hart and I will be discussing the case at noon central today on Blog Talk Radio. In order to cover as much ground as possible we will not be taking calls, however TJ will be monitoring his Twitter @THESKY973DOTCOM and Twitterers are welcome to ask their questions on it.

I don’t believe for one minute that there is no friction between the lovebirds after this last fiasco. Unless, of course, Ron already knows all of the real answers. At least this is keeping Haleigh’s name out there in the public eye.
Well, good old Ron has certainly outdone himself in being a caricature of his caricature self. All I could think of during the whole interview was that he could not wait to go home and beat up his teen bride. He was the picture of seething rage and his answers or non answers being punctuated by “Miss Nancy”
were truly scary. I think Misty better take up Leonard Padilla’s offer before she herself will become a missing person.
In watching Nancy as I am sure you were, Ronald was lying when he said Misty was telling him the same thing as she “told the police and everyone else” further he described the door open and all.. listen, he is not that of a father that is concerned with the truth, as he knows he is not telling it.
He rolled his eyes in the answer at the absolute wrong time! Looks like, sounds like He made the story up himself, that is what he showed me.
Just what is he not speaking out about, hum, I wonder, can we get another clue? LE has requested his presence, yet he went on the show, no emotion, less than truthful, only more questions without answers, YET.

It would not make a difference what Ronald Cummings said or did you would find fault with it. It is pretty low when you having nothing better to talk about than the shirt and tie he had on. You criticize him for saying what he did about the lie detector test, but if he would have said the opposite you would have been on him like white on rice. This has nothing to do with finding HaLeigh, it is about pinning this on Ronald Cummings head and his family.
Why don’t you take a good look at both sides of HaLeigh’s family and tell me who it is destroying and who it isn’t. I don’t know at this point how much more Teresa Neves can take. It is killing her. Ronald has lost over sixty pounds and you make fun of him, a father that truly loves his daughter.

It’s amazing what LE and the FBI can do with today’s technology. I have not made up my mind that any particular person did it. I do believe that Misty is not telling the truth (all or part of it).
I’m afraid that if we become too convinced at this point that it’s one person (and I mean this as far as LE is concerned too) that we will MISS info, evidence, clues etc that could lead to the person who is really responsible.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course.
I’m just not ready to “put money on” one or another at this point.

I too listened to the interview last night between Ronald and Nancy Grace. I don’t understand why law enforcement has not arrested Misty like they did Hassani Campbell foster dad. I believe both Ronald and Misty should be behind bars until the case is solved. Although Ronald is said to be innocent because he was at work he still should be arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor for buying cigarettes for Misty. Misty should be locked up too for not going to school and drug possession. I believe they both are lying because in an earlier interview the grandmother said she had washed their clothes earlier that day and dropped them over at the house. Misty did not wash the clothes. CHECK IT OUT!

First i have no hate in me I dont even like to use the word hate i think it is a evil word… Everyone has an opionion I may not agee with everyone and i dont except anyone agrees with me either.
I pray every night and day that they find Haliegh, if I could I would help find this beautiful little girl but i have a knee injury. I pray for her safe return home, I come on here looking hoping every day that when i look to see if anything new as happened that they may have found her. I hope that they do and those that are responsbile for her dissappearing that justice is made..
From the first day they annouced Haliegh disappearance and geting the information I knew the story didnt add up. I felt it that Misty was lying and I still think that Ron is to till other wise. I am not the only one that doesnt. Its my opionion I am in title to my opionions…

Personally, I think we are ALL so frustrated and worried about Haleigh that it just comes outwhether we mean for it to or not. It would seem that the only progress that is made in this case is when the “pressure’s on” so we want more pressure. If we all jumped up and down screaming for thier arrest/interegations (not friendly “so, hey, what happened to your daughter” type conversations) maybe, just maybe this would all be over and Haleigh would come home. Whether a person believes one theory or another, I still think that more pressure on R & M would bring more info to the surface. I’m torn between theories and I am trying to keep an open mind, just in case. I, like others, hope that Haleigh is safe and alive but am preparing for the worst. Someone somewhere knows what happened to Haleigh. The last known person to see her alive should be charged with neglect regardless if that is M or another person. Just my own OPINION.

You assume that “MISTY AND RONALD LAY UP ON THEIR COUCHES SMOKING THEIR DRUGS WHILE CHILDREN ARE AROUND.” And you “BELIEVE SHE (Crystal) IS INTITLED TO HER CHILDREN” But You say, “I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT CRYSTAL CAUSE NOTHING AS BEEN SAID ABOUT HER.” Not a very good basis for your argument. Since you don’t know much about Crystal, you can’t know she’s the better parent.
And some negative things have been “said” about Crystal. You should read them. I don’t know if they’re true (just like I don’t know if everything that’s been said about Ron and Misty is true) which is another reason not flinging such vicious assumptions at them.
None of us “LIKE SEEING PEOPLE TAKE THEIR CHILDREN FOR GRANTED etc etc” but it’s no excuse for making such accusations and or remarks about people who think differently than you do.
The fact is, other people are actually thinking. And reading and listening to everything.Not being carried away by their emotions (that’s what lynch mobs are so well known for).
Maybe you “know when someone is lying” (MAYBE) but do you know why they’re lying? Could be important.
What I remember are cases where it looked like a certain person HAD to be responsible and later it was discovered that they weren’t. Like the step-dad of recently found Jaycee Dugand. He was the last person to see her and has been the prime suspect for 18 years. And he had nothing to do with it.
So please have your own opinion - that’s fine - but have the courtesy to let others have theirs or keep an open mind if they want to.
Hollys - gmom: I think Ron and Misty have been under a lot of pressure especially with the LE’s recent press release. That’s why I am SO amazed that they - or at least Misty - willingly took all these tests now! Could she possibly have thought she’d actually pass? That doing so would take the pressure and focus off of her? It’s only added to it!
And I agree that pressure is good but it has to be applied to ALL the right people. Maybe there’s someone else who needs some pressure too (who has info on someone or who is responsible).
I don’t know.
Is there proof that Haleigh was alive and well when her dad left for work that night? If the child disappeared and he wasn’t involved, it should have killed the romance as she was responsible for the care of the child and lost her. He must be insanely angry at her about now. If not why not?
Haleigh told Misty she wanted her to have new shoes just like hers? Does that sound normal or like sisters? Sounds like rivals.
Spooky how Misty said what do you expect of a 17 year old. Diane Downs referred to herself as just a little girl.
My guess is Ron has it all figured out about now.
All things considered, shouldn’t Misty have gone underground and stayed there from day 1 since the child was lost on her watch? If the media is not focused on Haleigh it is because Misty is starstruck.
A few of my own reasons for suspecting Ron & Misty:
1. Memorial Tatoo- Don’t people usually get those AFTER someone has died?
2. Wedding so soon after disappearance: I realize that statutory charges could have been a factor or custody reasons (portrayal of more stable home) but still bizarre.
3. Wedding in light of Misty’s extracuricular sexual exploits: Wow! I don’t know many guys who would continue the relationship after those types of betrayals. So Why? To keep her close? Has it helped any? Not really.
4. They both refer to Haleigh in the past tense: All of the video & interviews I’ve seen they have done this. It chills me every time.
5. Ron’s prior arrest record added to both of thier prior drug histories. Multiplied by thier combined childhood abuse, enabling of family members drug/alcohol abuse and divided by Misty’s age, geographical location, and apparent crimminal activity of said location=
HUGE SUSPICIONS!!!
6. Then for Ron to continue to back Misty and claim he believes she doesn’t know anything. Do you really Ron? Really? Deep down in your gut and heart of hearts, do you really believe she has told ALL she knows about your daughter’s disappearance? Any other family members who may read this posting. Can you truely say with 100% certainty that Misty has told ALL she knows about Haleigh’s disappearance? If that is so, may God bless you and brace you for the blow that is sure to come.

Hey people,these sights that are set up for people to comment is for everyone to have a say.Why do some on here think their word is more inportant than others,and they have to jump on those the disagree with.I was always told “opinions are like a–holes,everyone has one”,and we are all entitled to our own opoinion,Gatorsgirl,I see what you are saying loud and clear.If you read each and every comment you can weed out the ones that know Ronald and Misty.Of course they will defend them.What they need to ask themselves is,do you really know Ronald and Misty at all.I had a brother in law and thought I knew him pretty well too,never thought he could kill anyone but guess what the man killed someone,he flipped out one night because the man mad him mad.So please never think you know someone so well that you can’t doubt them.We all pray for a fairly tell ending,and that know harm has came to Haleigh,yet we all know in our hearts you can’t count on it.I two have an opionion and I feel Ronald and Misty have done so wrong,they have lost sight of the real problem,they keep themselves in the lime light,it seems to be a party all the time,they love the drama,the pictures,cameras,the free trips and gifts of money and etc..Yet they don’t seem to care there is a child missing.Ronald seems to care more for the person that lost his child than trying to find Haleigh.For those of you that have never lost a child for some reason or other,try to put yourself in that picture and think what you may or may not do.I have and I just know I would not behave in the fashion that Misty and Ronald has.Crystal on the other hand has not made a fool of herself,she has kept a low profile,and has tried from what I see to be fair.Her Haleigh Bug sights has been fair to Ronald and his family,yet Ronald has not,his is about him and his.He has to be all show one way or another.He seems to be getting joy out of it all.I also feel he should hand over his son to the Mother and I don’t mean Misty.Take that child out of harms way,and let him go where it is calm.Know one has heard about dead rats,fights,or all the crap with that surrounds that bunch of yahoos in the Cumming group.Always something.So again HELLOOOO,Haleigh is miss,lets put the spot light on her and let Roanald and Misty go hide under the covers and watch he will get that girl pregnant so he can get more welfare and have another reason to set on his lazy but.Hope Misty goes back to school and learns how to read and write,and Think for herself.Maybe when she is in the jail system.God bless and keep Haleigh in our Fathers safe and loving arms till we find out what happen to her.I can only pray that those two come clean and put it all to rest.
I don’t know if Misty is guilty of anything or not. She does appear to be hiding something. But if she is innocent, she would still feel so
bad that it happened on her watch. I can’t imagine how bad that would feel. She is very

Cobra: I Hope you see this before today’s program with simmon, anyways -> I still Say, Misty has been Coxed into keeping her mouth shut on what really happened to Haleigh. I also Still think, that Ron and Misty Has had something to Do with her disappearance,and or what happened to her,{ Like Ronnie Flying off the Handle due to Misty’s running around - and in a fit of anger, Haleigh getting in the way, and Ronnie Accidently Hitting and killing her.} and Both Mothers of Ron and Misty Knows all about it, and their not wanting for those two to go to jail,{ Also I think they or had someone put her in that dumpster, and Ron’s mother came along and had her moved,and that’s why Ron yelled at Misty that night[ why did you let them take her] So! with that said, I think that the police department clearing Ronald of any wrong doing is a tad bit extreme to say the least. those two didn’t get married for pleasure. {Well maybe] – with their thought processes, they thought they would not have to testify against each other, Course with some people weather their married or not, Some wouldn’t tell the truth the Hole truth and Nothing but the truth, So help them… no matter what course of action was tossed at them, their Hard Core, Don’t give a Hang Individuals, that could care less! weather it’s one of their own or not! { They’d sell their own down the river for their own gain} Poor Haleigh, I hope with all Hope you do find her. 1. Crystal is petrified of Ronald. She is in mortal fear for her own life if she says anything against him. Which is also why Ronald has custody of her two kids.
2. Misty is covering for Ronald who killed his daughter in a rage of fury over who knows what. Probably wet the bed.
3. I do feel sorry for Theresa Neves no matter what kind of a monster she raised. She is truly in mourning for her beloved grandchild.
4. Can’t wait to watch the Nancy Grace show when she realizes she’s been championing the wrong person.
