We have two programs scheduled for this weekend. At first they may not seem to have a great deal in common, but yes they do. On Saturday at 3pm Central we are going to explore the very ugly world of drugs. We tried to do this last week but technology got the better of us. At 3pm central we will have Attorney Mitch Stone, a veteran who has been both prosecutor and defender in mostly drug cases. Oh, don’t be misled, we are talking users, dealers, doctors, money launderers, and other aspects of this sad part of life.
Joining us will be author and recovering addict Carlton Davis. Also part of the panel will be Armando Aldazabal, he has two drug-centric books in print, but more importantly he has seen friends and family succumb to the lure. Armando also knows the Satsuma, Florida area fairly well, and brings some pretty interesting observations to the table.
On Sunday at 3pm central we will be talking about the Haleigh Cummings case. It has been a wild week, and getting wilder by the moment. We will have the regular panel, and we are working on some special guests. The fire has been put to Misty’s feet, we just might have some more!
Our phone has been ringing off the hook for the past two days. Suddenly a lot of what has been speculated for months (behind closed doors) needs to be looked at in a whole new light. Many things that we have talked about in private suddenly take on a new importance.

Answers are coming I do have a feeling just reading everything that has been said and listening to the tapes of Misty’s. She is holding a major load while her husband doesnt give a rats butt. Maybe by her telling about a rose and a place maybe she has opened up something and to bring this child home.

okay im sitting here in my bedroom and as i am making my bed i say some daily prayers. I try to think where could this child be. Misty was using drugs that night so have the people she was using drugs with, have they been questioned? Were their homes, and cars searched? Next, are there any kind of wells that are covered up that maybe this Misty threw Haleigh down. It looks like they live in the country on tv. Do some people around there have abandoned wells. Is there anyway to get a land survey from the tax office. I mean some old wells are incredibly deep and you wouldnt smell a body because they are so deep. Misty in my opinion is not spilling the truth. Honestly after all that stuff going on in california now i would definitely have a thorough run down on all pedophiles living in the area just in case it isnt Misty. But my gut tells me shes guilty. Again get some information on the land around that house. paula

I consider myself a person with Compassion towards others. After watching the voice analysis video of misty, I feel very badly for her, because of her troubled childhood, Even though it seems that she could be involved in Haleighs disappearence, BUT as She was talking about how bad her childhood was because of her drug addict parents, I was thinking…Didn’t she realize she was putting Haleigh through the same thing??? Did she just not care? Should we then be compassionate toward her? People wake up! If your life wasn’t so great for one reason or another, Learn from it, Don’t put your children through it!
I think it was a terrible accident of some kind that could have been prevented if Misty was at home. Either the child got into something or her lungs failed from that disease she had. So when Misty got home, she panicked and call her friends. They said they would take care of it. First someone threw her in that trash thing where all 3 dogs went.
The police failed to check it. Later, someone went and moved the body to a far off place they will never find, probably in a swamp. I still think her cousin the guy had something to do with it too. The guy with the black shirt on picked her up and the little boy saw him, but was so sleepy he did not recognize him.
IMO – Misty was with a few of her “friends” just hanging around outside the house. They were all veeeeerrry stoned and she is honestly confused about what REALLY did happened that night. She’s telling the police what she “thinks” she remembers but keeps adding or forgetting things as bits and pieces jump to mind. Hence all the confusing statements.
Could you imagine what Ron would do to her if she was not watching that baby or too stoned to know what was going on??? In my gut I don’t think she really knows what happened all she knows, but is afraid to admit, is that SHE was not in control of the situation that night because she was too high.

I have an issue with Ronald Cummings’ mother – Teresa Neves. She talked on FoxNEWS back February 27th. Its the “times” that get to me. She said she was called at 3:28am, lives 12-miles away, and was at the house at 3:30am … as police arrived.

I tend to think something happened at that house. I am not one to point fingers but maybe Teresa Neves was involved – she admits she was at the house earlier that afternoon; she picked Haleigh up at the bus stop. To be honest, Teresa Neves could have taken Haleigh then and had her change clothes & return the clothes she was wearing that evening (a family member dropped off clothes that had been washed). Something could have happened any time between the time the bus stopped and Misty called 911.
It is just a thought…

Teresa never said she picked HaLeigh up. That was a typo in the Nancy Grace transcript. She said Ron picked her up. Watch the show, you’ll see. Also read the police report, she was not there when police arrived.
Reply to WolfOne – Motive: IMO, to keep Haleigh away from her birth-mother; fearful she may tell her birth-mother about the “fight” Ron recently had (and gun) may help Haleigh’s birth-mother win points in family-court.
But IMO maybe something bad happened to Haleigh during all of this.
Reply to curious – Teresa Neves was not at the house when the police arrived but she was right behind them, following the lead police car into the driveway. I recall reading that early on.
IMO, Teresa Neves has appeared to me like she is a very determined mother & grandmother. She keeps mentioning “faith” like (IMO) she knows more than she has revealed. Look at her when she was with Ron & she talks. IMO she was involved at some point (before, during, or after) in Haleigh’s disappearance. I could be wrong… but it is the way I am feeling about this case.
The police had already questioned Ron and were questioning Misty when Teresa drove up. Have you read the police report?

I have been thinking about the fake rose that Misty mentioned. I didn’t hear what she said about the fake rose, but the only place I could think of would be the cemetary. They need to check the cemetary to see if any of the graves have been messed with.
She must be afraid of Ron or someone else, or she would come right out with the whole truth. She may be afraid of implicating herself more if she blurts out the truth, also. Maybe, she hopes, they will offer her a deal to come out and tell all. She may not be very smart, but that doesn’t mean she isn’t cunning.

Teresa was NOT at the house when LE arrived. Read the police report.
LE arrived at 3:40 am. They interviewed Ron and Misty. It is then noted in the police report that Teresa THEN arrived on the scene. Teresa was at least 10 minutes behind LE considering they had already done an initial interview of both Ron and Misty. Again, read the report.
Also, as others pointed out, there is a error in the Nancy Grace transcript. Teresa never stated she picked up HaLeigh. Ron, Misty and Teresa have all stated that Ron picked up HaLeigh at the bus stop that day. The only people that have stated otherwise are Art Harris witnesses, some of which do not even want to be named.
Have you watched interviews with Teresa? She is a grieving grandmother that is searching for answers and has called in help. All IMO, of course.
Thanks for the link MiMi, it helped. This is the wildest, craziest case with the wildest people I have ever followed. Absolutely, no one is believable, because they are all kin to each other or into drugs, themselves (or worse).
I guess the heat is on, now. I hope someone else doesn’t get killed before this thing is over, but things are winding down, now. We, hopefully, will know something soon!
I am wondering how Tommy fits into all of this and I, also, wonder why they cleared Joe(Misty’s cousin) so quickly. Yet, there again, has he really been cleared?
Regarding police report – yes I have read it – over & over. And listening/reading shows, I saved not only transcripts but actual videos. And in one early-on, a law enforcement officer said on tape as the 1st responding officer pulled into the driveway, Teresa Neves “pulled in right behind that vehicle” IMO, implying a few minutes at most. She lives at least 18-to-20-minutes (12-miles) away.

IMO, all sh?? was going to break loose when Crystal found out about Ron & the fight and the gun; that Crystal was going to gain the upper hand in family court. And IMO Teresa Neves was not going to allow that to happen to her son. IMO, the mother was going to protect her son at any price.
When was the last time a non-family member saw Haleigh? Seriously. It was when the bus driver dropped Haleigh off at the bus stop. At first, Teresa Neves was the person who picked-up Haleigh. Then it was Ron. The family says they saw Haleigh up until about 8:00pm, then it is Misty’s word.
I just find the events interesting – including recently cleaned clothes being dropped off. (Could be innocent nothing but, IMO, when looking at the big picture, little details can stand out.)
One thing more … about the recently cleaned clothes being dropped off. That stack of clothes included the shirt Misty thought Haleigh was wearing. Maybe she was wearing that shirt when she was taken and it was washed that afternoon/evening by the perp who took her and returned with the recently washed clothes. IMO, that points a finger at whoever washed those clothes – even if the person has an alibi, the person likely knows more than they are saying.

I’m pretty sure Misty found the shirt she thought Haleigh had on when she disappeared in a pile of dirty laundry when she did a walk-thru of the trailer with LE. You are so right “when looking at the big picture little details can stand out”.
I saw a mother who had started a new family. Almost immediately I went to the MySpace page of the man Haleigh’s mom lives with to see just one photo of Haleigh that was obvious to me, but tons of pics of the other children. Mother’s page was dedicated to her new family as well. Haleigh and her brother were not a part of that family.
I believe Misty clashed with Haleigh, held her down and squeezed the breath out of her, something she had probably wanted to do more than once since the cute toddler was turning into a handful, challenging Misty, questioning her, taking her father’s time away from Misty ~ jealously ~ a powerful emotion founded by anger, resentment, insecurity a young girl would have with her boyfriend at that age.
Probably smothered by laying her down and holding her mouth shut. No blood shed but Haleigh lost urine and bowel, requiring blanket be washed. The trailer was very clean so i figure it was cleaned up before the arrival of investigators. I think that haleigh died early, that Misty spent the next several hours trying to decide what to do, then doing it. I imagine this little girl is in something, like a pipeline or a shaft and that it is vertical and that Haleigh is upright. When I look down, I think I see the top of her head when I think really hard about this little girl, and look down upon the area in a satellite view, and say where are you girl? I see her blonde head so that is why though i could be wrong and i probably am but wanted to say that since it was such a strong thought. I looked at the area she lived in, could be anywhere but probably an area like where Misty or Ron lived previously, that they knew would be “the last place anyone would look.” I do think Ron knew. And I think that his little girl was loved dearly but not dearly enough, as his life had changed. Crying, demanding, and costly is what children are when they are not a photo on t.v. at that age. Drugs and alcohol dull compassion and empathy. It is obvious that is a clan of heavy drug users. Haleigh was a wiping post, the sacrificial lamb and was given up because everyone likes Misty and they understand, even Haleigh’s mother. Behind closed doors. But, I could be wrong.

Where do you get it was a “pile of dirty laundry”? Misty said in a video clip that she found the shirt with the clothes that Annette Sykes (Teresa Neves’ mother) dropped off. (At least the copy I captured said that.) That Misty & LE were conducting a walk-thru and began looking at clothes and there on top of the pile of clothes that was dropped off was the pink shirt, folded. LE refused to disclose where it found the pink shirt, so all we have is Misty’s explanation plus hundreds of rumors (some saying dirty clothes pile, others say laundry hamper, and others have said the shirt was on the floor); of course, the shirt could have been “planted” by LE to see Misty’s reaction, to see if she’d point it out to LE (which she apparently did).
hello everyone, i don’t know if anyone covered this before, but, it has always bothered me how much haleigh looks like her mother, and even more so, she looks like her maternal grandmother marie. i have always wondered if that could have played a part in whatever happened to haleigh. at 5 yrs old she was becoming more her own independent person. daddy’s little girl may have felt she could stand up to daddy or daddy’s girlfriend. she may even have threatened to tell ron’s mom (or maybe even crystal) something about all the commotion going on in their house that week and weekend. and since r. and m. had a lot of personal issues including drug use and ron had money issues that week and both were so stressed, that did not help haleigh out if she threatened either or both of them.

since ron and misty are so casual about drug use, maybe one of them gave haleigh something deliberately to help her behave or to help her sleep that day or night because after all the partying and fighting they could not cope with her. maybe something went wrong with sedating her
i also think it is very significant that it is now confirmed that ron and misty were fighting at 8:30p.m. via their cell phones. doesn’t misty claim that at 8:30 she checked on haleigh and covered her with a blanket and that haleigh was now asleep. that is just to coincidental in timing. haleigh just happened to fall asleep at the exact time they were arguing on the phone. another thought is haleigh heard misty’s side of the argument and put her two cents in and misty did not appreciate a 5 year old who looks a lot like her mother telling her a thing or two. maybe even threatened misty that she would tell ron something.
of course, the not calling police till ron told her to, not knowing what haleigh was wearing that night, and neither of them could answer any questions on the phone to the police about haileigh is just too weird. all the inconsistencies in misty’s story means they have to be covering up. i originally, thought the police messed up by not investigating crystal and her family more, not because i thought crystal was guilty of anything, but, just because all parents should be thoroughly looked at. but, the more we get to see what the police already knew and know, the more it becomes undeniable that ron and misty have not told all they know.
i keep praying haleigh was kidnapped. i don’t know what the odds are of someone taking her to protect her, but, that is what i keep praying happened. i took heart from last weeks haleigh update, the panel seemed to be saying they don’t think misty would deliberately harm haleigh. denny’s question about haleigh being taken for retaliation for drugs or money, i wonder if someone on the panel could discuss this more. if not specifically about haleigh since the panel has been shying away from that but, maybe discuss other cases where this has happened. how common would something like this happen in the drug world. how bad would the situation be, for the drug world to do something like that, steal a child or relative.
i too would like to say thank you and may god bless the hearts of all of you helping in the search for haleigh.
