It might also be good to know if the background check will include criminal records in Canada.

If the one Vh1 did on Ryan Jenkins had included Canada it would have shown that “In his hometown of Calgary, Jenkins was sentenced to 15 months probation in January 2007 on an unspecified assault charge.”

Maybe he would never have been hired for Vh1's “Nitwit Chooses a Millionaire Hubby” TV show (or whatever they call it).

And perhaps he would not have murdered and dismembered his ex-wife as he was accused of doing before running from the law and committing suicide a few days ago.

After appearing on the TV show, another domestic assault charge was placed against Jenkins in Las Vegas. So it's pretty obvious that this was the kind of guy who was going to continue to hurt women anyway until someone stopped him. But maybe, maybe if that background check had been done in Canada in the first place, the chips would not have fallen the way they did - with the brutal murder of a young woman.

You can not make a decision to hire and employee or Volunteer based on arrest records. Innocent until proven guilty in the U.S.A. I am an employee of a background check company named Integrascan. It is diligent to use a reputable company to perform your background check, The company listed in this article is not the best source and sells many other things not related to a true criminal background check.

make sure the company you choose to run your Background Checks displays the coverage of the searches on their home page.

Don't get scammed by the do it yourself detective companies , they are all scams.

Only one in eight, demand a recount! Maybe they are like the ones in Putnam, a ton of arrest no convictions, hope they are that generous with me, as i was truly not guilty.
