After appearing on the TV show, another domestic assault charge was placed against Jenkins in Las Vegas. So it's pretty obvious that this was the kind of guy who was going to continue to hurt women anyway until someone stopped him. But maybe, maybe if that background check had been done in Canada in the first place, the chips would not have fallen the way they did - with the brutal murder of a young woman. It might also be good to know if the background check will include criminal records in Canada.
