		<description>Purse snatching is an obvious way for credit cards to be abused and have your identity stolen. But children get their ID's stolen all the time, and no one knows about it until they grow up. need to guard those SSN's with your life, and dont hand them out freely to schools, coaches, etc.</description>

		<description>I agree hopefully this helps to create an awareness of this threat. You will notice he didn't do any dumpster diving either. Shredding documents would have done nothing to protect his victims.</description>

		<description>Hopefully Mr. Gonzalez's actions can have a beneficial effect. Companies can learn to better protect our sensitive information, and consumers can learn just how vigilant they need to be in regards to their finances. It might be a lot to ask, but I think some good can come from this.

Of course its hard when it oftentimes seem like our best and brightest minds would rather go into the criminal side of the computing world, than the legitimate one.
