Well, I think "the most significant lesson to be learned from this" is that the incident is NOT worth your writing yet another article about and quoting a bunch of Hilary bashers, giving them an even wider audience and/or more repetition of their useless and negative comments. And please don't further insult her by pretending she used the word "channeling" incorrectly or that you don't understand what she meant by it. That's just silly.

All politics aside, if you simply look at what happened as a matter of basic manners (remember that?) it was a very rude question. Very rude. And I'm sure it's not the first time someone has asked her what her husband thinks - which implies one doesn't care what she thinks. That's VERY rude.
And in my opinion, so is your article.

Hillary has every right to lose cool. After all she's only human. And people get really sensitive when someone talks something about a loved one.

Excellent post. I wish Hillary would just relax and forget about her image and this competition with Bill. She is a smart lady with a lot to offer but this penchant for being so reactionary is troubling. They both need to get over themselves and just concentrate on doing their jobs.
