As suspected, it was another 90 minutes of surprise. I will share a secret with you, I do actually have a sort of script before launching into these programs. I know it will get derailed, and that is fine. Live radio is just that, ‘live’. You never know what is going to happen.
As we approach the 6 month disappearance, and also the 6th birthday of Haleigh Cummings, we sit back and reflect. Where is this little girl? Is she still with us? Or has she moved on to a better place? The months of knowing little have created a news vacuum, yet there are many, eager and willing, to spout out rubbish in the process of seeking fame and fortune.
The Internet has created somewhat of a news monster. Suddenly all you need is a computer and a stupid idea and ‘you got news.’
Much of today’s program was taken up with this concept, a huge waste of time, but, I am sure it will keep the bloggers busy for a couple of hours. One idiot in particular, I cannot remember his name, something like Itsy, bitsy, or spider. This idiot had the gall to ask about responsible journalism! As best I can tell he runs a secretive little chat room, has no clue what is actually happening in the case, yet has the balls to ask about responsible journalism! Get a job bud, get a life.
Another blogger from another site, owned by someone I do admire for his past achievements, called in, not so much with a question, but more a Ted Kaczynski (Unabomber) statement. That went down like a sack of hammers. No offense to the blogger but we do not do Unabomber type manifesto’s.
With all of this nonsense swirling around, it obviously ate up some valuable air time. If these numbskull’s had stayed away, there was some great information to be had. Itsy, Bitsy, Spider if you call in again, can you try and stay on track? It’s a missing child, it is not some self made crusade!
Is there something that we are missing? I thought the challenge was to find the little girl? Maybe I missed something?
Maybe if these armchair experts put their efforts into finding Haleigh Cummings rather than this huge online irritation, we might be able to move the case forward?
What did we learn today? Actually quite a lot, and we would have learned a great deal more without the help of certain organizations!
We had a guest call in, I was not expecting it. A man that has a considerable amount of great information. Of course, little time was available to let him talk because of the idiocy. But I am hoping that he will return next week.

Addendum: I do apologize for being a little testy today, everyone has their breaking point. It was clearly wrong of me to tell a caller to ‘shut up’, in fact in the many months that we have run this show, I can only recall one other time when a panelist said such a thing, oh, and that was Art. He was hot under the collar that day. So folks, all I can say is that it happens to the best of us.

If Issi calls again, please do not take the calls. What an air bag and waste of time. Could he be anymore full of himself? This is not about HIM and his hate forum! No one cares what he has to say, other than his fellow garden members. Reading the chat room when he called, it seems clear that no one cares. I cannot believe that Issi called back after being hung up on. Well, yes I can since he has an overinflated sense of self-importance like other narcissistic people.
The people wanted to hear Don. HE had information that was quite compelling (and possibly criminal).
I dont think I heard Haleighs name more than a few times, but I heard Cobra loud and clear,Simon you say if the bloggers would get out of their chairs and do something constuctive then maybe what happened to Haleigh might become known, well I feel like if Cobra would have kept himself and what he was doing there in Satsuma private between him and LE then he might have had a better chance also, why was it so important for him to show up everywhere he went with a camera showing on him, if he wanted it there to keep what he was doing recorded then he could have just let his son tape him and still keep it to himself….May have helped him to find out a little more if the people he was trying to get info from wasnt worried about having there faces plastered all over every blog there was, he didnt mind the blogging when he thought it was working for him, he even blogged himself a few times…
This story got so messed up when everyone showed up screaming me me ..put the camera on me,.LE doesnt owe anyone anything except Haleigh herself, and I can see why they wouldnt take kindly to others jumping on the band wagon and then yelling fowl,,,,,get real….Do you see LE with a camera following their every move….I dont…..Let them do their job, and when they have answers they will report on them….if they are not doing their job dont you think the FBI would have been aware of this at the beginning when they showed up……come on…..get real…..and stop giving the bloggers a bad name ……just who do you think listens to your little program…….Answer…the bloggers…..I didnt hear anyone call in but bloggers so what diors that tell you……..

The Jeremiah question is a good one, he was there Feb 10 and possibly earlier, yet says he is a family friend on the maternal side and that they met after HaLeigh was abducted, sure, and he slid right in that fast? No way. I also question how long he has known Kim, and when she really became involved. Something’s stinky.
God please bring HaLeigh home.

I hope everyone notices Simon’s added Addendum to the above article… Now that is the Simon I know, love and am married to. Please everyone let’s not lose it here. We all NEED to stick together from all over the internet and try to help find Haleigh. Regardless what other people think about us, we DO care about finding Haleigh and that is what ALL this is about. All the fighting is not necessary. Let’s just find this little girl and bring her home. Then we can all go back to our normal lives hopefully. I pray she is brought home soon. God bless you all!

oh and Trapper, that was uncalled for and unfair to her… ksue was not even involved in yesterdays show so why would you bring her name into it. This is how rumors and trouble gets started. My thoughts and prayers are with Haleigh. I still believe that the answers lays with Misty and Ron. If you think about it why be in such a hurry to get married wouldnt you want to wait till your daughter to be part of the celebration. Its alittle fishy to me. I have been following the case its sad. Besides those two God knows where she is, to bad God cant give any clues to where she is but i can say this much God doesnt like ugly and it will come back and bite them on the butt it always does.

First I would like to say I thought you were very rude to Issi. I am not sure where you get off telling a caller to shut up, but personally I was rather shocked hearing this from a blogger radio host who claims to support responsible journalism. Do you even realize your listeners are bloggers that are tuned in to your program only because they are wanting any information they can get concerning Haleigh?.
Have you considered If you would have allowed Issi to speak without publicly berating him due to the fact he is affiliated with a private forum you may have learned that he just may know more than you suspect concerning this case?
The Garden was not established to bash anyone. It’s a site about missing children, and Haleigh just happens to be our main topic of interest at this time. Believe it or not, we do throw out quite a few logical theories and have even found some extremely interesting facts concerning this case..
The fact that we are a private forum has given us the opportunity to come together and work on scenarios without the hassle of being continuously reported to biased mods by over zealous Ron Cummings supporters. You may be shocked to know most of the members are as educated as anyone on your panel, if not more so, and that sir is a fact.
The truth behind the bloggers affiliated with The Garden is we are extremely dedicated to finding out what happened to Haleigh and who is responsible. We question, we ponder, we cry and are even baffled by things we don’t understand concerning this case.
We are sickened by the fact a beautiful little 5 year old little girl has disappeared with out a trace, and the person/s responsible are still after six months walking around free .. As bloggers we have attempted to help in anyway we can to be supportive to the innocent victims in her family who desperatly want to believe she will be returned home once again alive and safe.
There is a little girl missing and everyone’s eyes and ears are needed .Who knows when someone will turn up with just the right tip that will be beneficial to Law Enforcement in solving this case?
Also, let it be known, contrary to any false information you may have been given, The Garden, or anyone affiliated with The Garden, is not responsible for sending out any bogus emails pertaining to this case at anytime ever. Sorry, but that PIA person and that bogus email did not come from our forum. Our purpose is not to derail the train of justice. That email was just wrong and shame on the poster that did that, and the people responsible for misleading others to believe it came from a poster affiliated with The Garden. I can assure you none of us were responsible for that fiasco.

I just wanted to say something and since so many people read here even if they do not post, I thought this was a good place.
I offered my help to the paternal family of HaLeigh Cummings to help honor HaLeigh on her birthday. My small part, along with others, is in monitoring the Birthday Balloons For HaLeigh Myspace and the connected email account.
I have never seen such nasty, disgusting, rude, and cruel emails that people have sent to an account set up to honor a missing little girl.
You know who you are. You know what secret little club you hang out in. My question to all of you is how do you look yourself in the mirror? How do you sleep at night? And how do you dare go on any forum or website or anywhere else and claim you love HaLeigh and only want her safe return?
The events planned by both sides of the family are – or should be – all about honoring HaLeigh and bring awareness to the fact that this little girl is still missing.
Shame on you, shame on all of you that have taken the opportunity to slam this child’s family on a website dedicated to honoring HaLeigh.

Just so you know, Cajun. Lots and lots of gardeners have not been banned from any forums – we’re still reading and posting on those forums. We’re still learning all we can about what happened to Haleigh. We’re still bringing ideas back to our fellow gardeners. We’re still sifting thru those ideas.
Personally, I’m hoping we’re still a thorn in the side of the folks who are responsible for and/or know what happened to that darling little girl. Go ahead and let your “special source” know that.
Garden’s aren’t built in a day – great ones aren’t even built in a year. That’s why gardeners are patient and really, really good at waiting to see what blooms and what withers.
