I have just received this update from TJ Hart of The Sky 97.3 confirming the rumors that were circulating yesterday afternoon about Kim Picazio being out of the Haleigh Cummings case. Simon
97.3 The Sky learned Thursday afternoon that the attorneys for the biological parents of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings of Satsuma may have been released.
Kim Picazio, the attorney representing Haleigh’s mother, Crystal Sheffield, on a pro-bono basis confirmed by telephone to 97.3 The Sky Thursday at 6:31 p.m. ET that she had filed the paperwork in court earlier that day for termination of representation.
Picazio chose not to go on the record when asked how this decision came about. However, Crystal Sheffield’s mother, Marie Griffis, claims Picazio was fired over alleged inside leaks in the investigation.
Apparently Ronald Cummings has released his attorneys as well as indicated in this written statement from the Law Office of Kimball and Snider:
This office has been successful in handling the DCF investigation and resolving family law issues between Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield. We undertook this representation pro bono as a public service to not only Ronald Cummings, but to the citizens of Putnam County in the interest of clearing up these controversies. There are no pending legal matters involving Ronald Cummings. We are ending today our representation of Ronald Cummings on good terms. Our website, findhaleighnow.com will remain online but will not be updated.
It appears to be as much strange as it is ironic that both lawyers are out at the same time.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackIf, in fact, both attorneys were only hired as it related to the custody and CPS investigation and that has been concluded, then it could be simply nothing more than no need for the attorneys at this point. Both attorneys would naturally be released at the same time in that instance.
Maybe now that those vultures are gone the search in finding Haleigh can begin.
Well Crystal said yesterday it was because of leaks that Kim is gone. I mean what did she expect when Kim was posting on message boards and giving Art Harris his “close to the investigation” stories that has been going on for months.
I am glad the witch is gone. She needs to stay home and worry about all her foreclosures and her husband’s child support and paternity stuff for his “other” child.
I know there’s a humming of excitement that since this “side show” seems to be coming to and end that maybe finding Haleigh will shortly follow.
I guess I’m just skeptical that any side shows going on were preventing Haleigh from being found. to me, they were distractions for those following her disappearance but to me I don’t see how that precluded this little girl from being found. It doesn’t seem to me that any LE or investigators charge with solving this case would have been sidetracked by any of the shenanigans of either side.
Maybe I’m missing something here.

When you call the lawyers involved “vultures” you should probably re think that only Crystal Sheffield’s lawyer insisted on being in the media every second someone would allow her. Funny how all of those accusations she had and not one was true……makes you wonder why Crystal keeps wanting everyone to see the bad things about Ronald LE needs to watch her every second of the day it just may solve this case.
Ronald and Misty have something to hide. It is shown by clearly their actions/inactions.
I believe that in the end both parents are covering for something they did that may have caused her to be kidnapped to some drug dealer. To tell means to open up a can of worms they want buried.
