		<description>As Emily Gillette's lawyer, I appreciate the tremendous response of outrage expressed by readers of the many the media reports.  This post is excellent but missing one crucial piece of information: the airlines violated Emily's rights. Under Vermont law, there is no discretion requirement.  The Vermont law simply states: "a mother may breastfeed her child in any place of
public accomodation in which the mother and child would otherwise
have a legal right to be."  The airplane meets the definition of a
place of public accomodation where Emily and her child had a legal
right to be.</description>
