I love finding hidden things or tough references in television shows and movies.  The speech about Orion from Drillbit Taylor?  Yeah, that’s from Blade Runner.  The town Henry Gates on this show is supposedly from?  Yeah, that’s a town I bike through all the time.  Why was that character reading The Third Policeman?  I know the answer.  The fact that 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 show up all over the place?  I catch every single reference.  Now you can too and you will love every second of it in this brand new format!

Starting this June 16th, now available on Blu-ray Disc from ABC Studios comes the exhilarating second season of one of the most captivating and consuming shows on television today!  LOST – The Complete Second Season – The Extended Experience – Blu-ray Disc is ready to blow the top off of your isolation and flood your living room with so many twists and turns that you will end this season with a whole lot more questions than you started it with.

It’s always so hard to know just what to say when it comes to reviewing this show.  For those of us, like myself, who love this show, there are so many things we want to bring up and point out that are excellent reasons to start watching this show.  But so many of these reasons are things which are twists and surprises, things which make the show worth watching.  So I don’t want to give anything away either.  Suffice it to say that everyone has been on the island for 44 days, there is a hatch that they have managed to make their way into, that the island used to have people from something called the Dharma Initiative on it, that the Others are real, that there is someone out there besides the Others and the survivors from the body of the plane.  And so much more.  I want to share it with you, but I don’t want to ruin a thing.  So just watch it and pretend I told you about it instead.

The special features included in this seven Blu-ray Disc boxed set are some all-new flashbacks which were not broadcast before, a secret look inside “The Swan” from the Dharma Initiative, some great theories as far as what the conspiracies and theories are for the meaning of the show, a great look inside the set, a fantastic featurette about taking an episode from conception to the final product, optional audio commentaries, deleted scenes and bloopers, a whole bunch of Blu-ray exclusive features and the great interactive look at the connections between all of the characters on the show.

It’s obvious that I am enamored with this show.  I love it and cannot stop watching it.  It is such a smart and involving show.  There are allusions to literature, religion, classic cinema, other television shows and, most importantly, the rapidly growing and overwhelmingly large mythology of the show itself.  I’ve flown on a bunch of planes in my lifetime and I’m sure that none of them have ever had such a high percentage of good looking and interesting people on them.  I would have loved to be on that plane, even knowing all of the crazy stuff that happens on the island.  From the opening sequence of the second season, which completely rocked my world and changed the scope of the show forever, to the closing shot of this season, which left me with so many questions sitting on my couch with my wide way open, this show is fantastic and it’s so much better in high definition.

Get LOST in this great show today!
