Of course, one side of the problem is bullying bosses who abuse their employees.  And the other side is employees and managers who demand to be satisfied (catered to) but don’t produce more in return.

In my coaching and consulting, I help different organizations, teams and individuals with both sides of the problem.

I intentionally avoid statistics because they don’t matter.  That’s merely academic, intellectual stimulation.  Fun, but who’s buying the beer.  What really matters is what’s happening at your organization and what can we do about it.

If your organization is wonderful, you don’t care about the rest of the world.  If your organization stinks, you don’t care what’s happening elsewhere, unless you’re looking for a job at a specific company.

will view this article as a guideline, accepting generalizations as facts. I would suggest including scholarly research so that readers can draw their own conclusions. In this current climate of workplace bully bosses, where organizations turn a deaf ear to worker complaints, and where older workers are being harassed, and forced to quit, this article seems to justify orgs to escalate. Afterall employers have options to fire dissatisfied workers. Also where was the study done? What are the demographics of the participants, what industries are represented and how many participants included in study?  Too many concerns regarding the above.</description>
