Thank you for this interview, Kim.  Can you tell us a little about yourself and how long you’ve been writing?

I am a lifelong Memphian who has been married for nearly 16 years and have two wonderful adult children. I am a network administrator for a small remanufacturing company and own my own video and photography company. My husband is my partner and we’ve shot everything from ballets to independent films. I have my mother to thank for encouraging me to write, and my hubby for actually making me sit down to do it. I have been writing since the 1990s.

Do you write full-time?

No, but geez, I wish I could! Can you imagine how exciting that would be?

At what point in your life did you make up your mind you were going to become a published author?

A few years ago, a critique partner was very hard on me and said, “maybe you should forget trying to get published” and it hurt so much! I determined to get published at all costs after that. I am happy to say I am now multi-pubbed.

Was there anyone in your life that you can give credit to helping pave the way?

Yes, I have such wonderful friends who support me, and family who encourages me. I do not know where I would be without them.

What was your favorite book to read as a child?

My very favorite books were Nancy Drew books, and anything with dogs.

What is your favorite book at the present?

The Accidental Bestseller, by Wendy Wax. It is just a great book about friendship, and getting published, and how it can affect your life as a whole.

If you could trade places with one author who you have admired over the years, who would it be and why?

J.K. Rowlings. She started out in the same place as I did, writing stories for her kids. I just wish I had the HP idea first.

Can you tell us a little about your latest book?

A Will to Love is a contemporary romance about love lost, love found and love that will always be around. Benton Jessup wants his bed and breakfast to be successful. He will go to any lengths to ensure that it does.

When Kitty Beebe, a famous romance author, arrives at The Inn, his desire for success becomes a struggle of wills with love.

Thank you for this interview, Kim!  Do you have any final words you’d like to share with my readers?

I hope you enjoy Ben’s story as much as I did writing it. Maybe a lady killed in a freak train wreck is sorta smiling down today as we talk about her influence as my inspiration.
