MondoLiars also justify their positions with a never-ending stream of lies. Amazing lies, really. Only the truly gullible and ignorant or the chronically antisemitic can really accept the stuff they sell there. I’m afraid that there might be a market for stupid lies, though.

MondoLies also stifles debate, censoring factual postings by supporters of Jews and Israel. Some services now classify MondoLies as an antisemitic “hate site” and ban it. The MondoLiars, of course, see this as further proof that the Jews control the world - typical of the level of intellectual dishonesty at MondoLies.

Oh, one final point: someone is paying them to do this. Blumenthal, Dana, Shapiro et al have a whole film crew at work in Israel preparing their steady stream of “YouTube Journalism” and someone is spending money on the MondoLies website while Phil Weiss makes money from it. I wonder where the funding is coming from. Something really dirty going on there…

On September 28, 2001, the UN Security Council passed binding Resolution 1373. Resolution 1373, which was initiated by the US government, and was passed by authority of Chapter VII, committed all UN member states to “refrain from providing any form of support, active or passive, to entities or persons involved in terrorist acts.” Resolution 1373 further required UN member states to “deny safe haven to those who finance, plan, support, or commit terrorist acts or provide safe haven” to those that do.

In 1995, the US State Department acknowledged that Hamas fits the legal definition of a terrorist organization. Today, due to its policies toward Hamas, the Obama administration is in breach of both Resolution 1373 - that is, of international law - and of US domestic law barring the provision of support and financing to foreign terrorist organizations.

We’re done with US taxpayer dollars being used to permit the terrorist Hamas to use Qassam rockets and mortars on innocent children in Israel. We’re done with being called racists for calling the Palestine Authoprity to task for its war crimes, and presuming to think it could ever join the community of nations in abiding by the UN resolutions and the Geneva Convention. We’re fed up with reading about Islamic theology used to called Jews “pigs”, and “apes” and “monkeys” and their attempts at racist ethnic cleansing of areas where Jews have lived for centuries and their human rights abuses of their own Palestinian residents in a lack of administrative transparency, a true court sytem, no censorship, etc. and treating Jews like animals.

You say Mondoweiss seeks conflict? You’re too facile to get what it’s about. It speaks truth to power, even at great cost to Phil and Adam, who can no longer sit on the sidelines passively and allow the greatest humanitarian crisis since the Holocaust to simply go on.

We’re fed up with reading about apartheid, and bulldozers, and “natural growth” and occupation and human rights abuses and Palestinians being treated like animals.

You’re entitled to post your thoughts on Mondoweiss, and we’re entitled to call you out on your hasbara bullshit. Get real. Gilad Shalit will be released within days. Will you support an unconditional opening of the borders, and releasing all women and children captives held in Guantanamo-like prisons in Israel? Or will you keep grabbing land and ethnically cleansing the indigenous population. If so, stop taking $3 billion of my taxpayer dollars to support your fascism.
