Whoa guys.

Most countries that allow international adoptions do regulate it.
Are Chinese girl babies better off in an orphanage or with American moms?

I was allowed to adopt my sons from Colombia because they wanted to stay together.. the younger would have been adopted locally but the older one was "too old" for anyone to want.

As for babies, I agree...a better choice is to give moms money so they can raise them...we had one of our part time employees give her sixth baby up for adoption because her husband lost his job and they couldn't afford another mouth to feed.

Single moms are especially vulnerable in this matter, and often "abandon" the child in hopes that a good family will adopt it.

hopefully the public will be able to see the truth and corruption under international adoption instead of the propaganda adoption agencies like to portray. yes they claim to be non-profits, but if you look at their annual reports, they make millions annually.

The exploitation of the poor in order to commodify their children to meet a demand is an enormous problem worldwide. Globally, children are stolen and kidnapped and eventually adopted internationally, usually with forged papers.

Surrogacy id just one more way to exploit the poor to meet this demand for children. It is despicable!

Americans accept this insanity - such as that of Sarah jessica Parker - as the final step in reproductively technology. It is not, because unlike other repro tech procedures, surrogacy and adoption - involve other human being with rights of their owen - especially the children.
