Symantec may not be in a position to sell anti-virus
software any more than any other non-US company.

For instance just try and remember the last time you
heard an American voice at the other end of the phone
when dealing with a virus or spyware on your computer.

Or just try and find a Symantec training center in any
major U.S. City. The company is traded on the stock
market but in all other respects is not a U.S. Company.

My attemps at finding much info on the company where
through to say the least, but very frustrating.
So when I read articles like this one, I am not
sure if I really want to purchase socalled protection
from a company that hides it self in cloak hidden
agendas.

This message is a repeat from 43 other blogs I have
visited on this subject and related subjects.

Mr. Siciliani - If we are alive and living in society, we are truly "out there". So many precautions to heed. Thank you for your articles. Because I am not technically up to par, I may not understand every fact you have reported on, but can at least have a general awareness of what to watch out for.

The Kuykendall story sounds like it came right out of science fiction; it is frightening.

People should be cautious when storing information in their cell phone. It is advised though that vital information should never be stored in it.
