		<description>Celia Hayes,

In your review of Defiance you say "he will also take swift revenge on the family of the Polish collaborator responsible for killing his parents". This is very misleading on two accounts.

First this part of the movie is fictitious. The parents of the brothers were not killed at their home but later(Page 33). Further the book makes it clear that the brothers blame the Germans (Page 48). The event in the movie appears to be based on the execution of a Belarusian collaborator who was murdering Jews independently of the Germans (Page 77).

Second the police in the movie are speaking Belarusian which is inline with the book which has the bulk of the collaborators as Belarusian.

Please reword as "Polish collaborator" implies it was a Pole when all the collaborators in the movie are Belarusian.

Regards
