I completely agree with you beemond, if I were Megan’s mother, I would make it my mission to stand in front of Lori Drew’s house EVERY SINGLE day with a blown up picture of Megan so she can see and think about what’s she’s done. I’d make sure the Drew girl saw it too because she wasn’t totally innocent in this whole ordeal…yes, she’s a child herself and with a mother like that, her view of morality is probably very twisted, but she’s still old enough to know right from wrong.

This woman needs to be punished some how now that the court had decided she wont spend time in jail…*sigh*

I have no problem with people who post this women’s home address + home phone number, etc. on the web.

She should be made an example out of. She should have gotten 10 years, but since she didnt I have no qualms with people giving her a piece of their mind.

Obviously I’m not advocating violence of any kind against her or her family, nor vandalism of their property etc. But harrassment is another thing. If I happened to live by her I would have no problem waiting at the end of her driveway or picketing her or her husbands workplace and giving her a little taste of the hate she is so willing to spread.

The courts have failed that poor little girl by not punishing this disgusting monster.

We don’t take bullying seriously yet in our country. It’s almost seen as a normal rite of passage every child has to go through. I remember reading years ago that James Dobson says that we as parents must stand up for our kids if this is happening to them. We are their only advocates. I’m glad my parents went to school when it happened to me. I’m sure Megan’s parents would’ve put a quick stop to this if they had known. What an unnecessary death of such a precious girl!

The real mystery, of course, is why the State of Missouri couldn’t find a single child endangerment law that applies to psychologically molesting a child. Because that’s what this fat old creep did.

Even if they can get a conviction under this statute, it’ll be more of a moral victory. They can’t give Lori the sentence she deserves under this law.

The good news: Lori’s broke! Her defense attorney says she won’t be able to pay a $5,000 fine if one is imposed. Scumbag defense attorneys are good at leaving you free and bankrupt. So at least that Waterford Crystal Drive house is bye-bye as a result of Lori’s hilarious prank on Megan.

What happened to Megan is more than Any child should ever endure, and this woman played it to the fullest, resulting in a suicide. In addition- she Should’ve been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor since her daughter was involved in it and she has so far tried to deflect all blame elsewhere. That woman should have been investigated and Charged by the authorities for the illegal things she engaged in doing with her own daughter (online). Not Just the act of ‘accessing protected computers without authorization to obtain information to inflict emotional distress.’
If she walks, it will be an absolute travesty of Justice!

Natalie, Fred Phelps is the anti-homosexual whackjob who protests funerals of dead soldiers and victims of crime and disasters. He is the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, USA and notorious for vile slogans like “God Hates Fags” and “Thank God For 9/11″.

There are several documentaries about him, mostly from England. One of them with Louis Theroux, called “America’s Most Hated Family”, which they are rightfully called. I put Lori Drew and Fred Phelps with other scumbags like Bernard Madoff and Osama bin Laden.

I will check out Matt Lucas’s work. He looks like he would make a good Lori Drew, even though he is a male. I would not be surprised if there is a movie about this case. It has been depicted in NBC’s Law and Order: SVU.

USS Yorktown, I’m not sure who Fred Phelps is. But if they ever make the Lifetime movie off this story, the person I’d cast to play Lori Drew is Matt Lucas of the BBC series Little Britain. If he just combined Marjorie the unpleasant weight-loss maven and Vickie the teenage pathological liar, he’d be within shouting distance of Lori, and Matt’s a talented guy, he could tweak it from there.

Take a look at Matt’s work. I really think he could nail it.

This is truly galling all I can say. I am not the kind of person who gets shocked easily and this one certainly does. I am not surprised that Lori Drew is the most hated person and likely will be for years and decades to come. Lori Drew has to be most vile and worthless excuse right next to Osama bin Laden, Jim Jones, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Seung-Hui Cho. She resembles Fred Phelps in appearance and behavior. Both are psychopaths and deviants of the worst kind.

What is the e-mail or mailing address for the Judge to send a letter. Drew knew that Megan was depressed, and by stalking and harassing Megam, Drew is responsible for Megan’s death. No matter what the sentence is Drew showed her true colors and now everyone knows she is a cold & cruel old woman who is responsible for causing the death of a child. Drew has never shown any remorse that I have heard of. Megan is an Angel now and we all know where Drew will go someday.

I agree with you and also think that she should be punished by Child Welfare for helping her child to bully another child. What kind of mother is she? I would be talking to my son or daughter about doing just the opposite. What kind of role model is this woman? Not a very good one. The worse punishment for her would be to lose her children. The state should be investigating endandering the welfare of a child.

If she does walk, which I hope she does not, she will be outed wherever she goes. She and her family will have no place they can get away from the court of public opinion. I also read that businesses owned by her and her husband have either failed or in jeopardy of failing. Some small satisfaction, anyway.
