TJ Hart update 5/14/09
About ten days ago, I was meeting with bondsman/private investigator/ surety agent William “Cobra” Staubs. We were trying to catch up on the various leads, but his cell phone kept ringing with people calling and offering him more leads on the Haleigh case and others asking him when he was going to pick up a wanted woman in South Florida.
I just looked out over the St. John’s River and took in the lovely view each time he picked up the phone. That is, until one very angry sounding black male called him and started cussing him up one side and down the other.
I couldn’t help but overhear most of that conversation with those two yelling at the top of their lungs.
The man who called Staubs was an alleged local drug dealer/pimp and businessman named Jerome Raymond Williams. I had run into Williams myself just days earlier when I videotaped Staubs pulling Christina Rene “Nay Nay” Prevatt out of an alleged crack house/3-bed whore house to have her bond revoked. You’ve seen Williams and that apartment building, too, on that video seen previously on this site and on national television on HLN’s ISSUES with Jane Velez-Mitchell.

Staubs somehow got Jerome Williams to settle down. They started talking in street language and then progressed to a loud, but more normal sounding conversation.
Williams told Staubs to stop cruising through his area. He said it was “messin’ up his business.”
That’s when Staubs told Williams that he would gladly leave his area alone once he found Haleigh Cummings.
Williams paused for a moment. “If I help you get the little girl, you’ll leave me the hell alone?” asked Williams.
“Yep,” said Staubs. “You help me find the girl and I am out of here—back to the 3-0-5!”
Williams mumbled something about the “his girls talkin,” and then I couldn’t hear anything else. Their voices returned to a normal volume.
In the meanwhile, Christina “Nay Nay” Prevatt was taken off suicide watch and later released from the Putnam County Jail on a bond from Chuck’s Bail Bonds. That bond was secured by Daniel Bass, the owner of the alleged crack house/whore house you just saw in the video. Bass is a registered child sex offender….and so is Chuck, Charles Ingram, of Chuck’s Bail Bonds. The once-jailed former Palatka police officer transfered the ownership of his operation to his wife, but he still participates in the business.
Staubs spoke to me Thursday to recap all of this.

I then discovered that South Florida Attorney Kim Picazio has also been trying to get some cooperation from Williams as well. Ms. Picazio spoke with me about it Thursday afternoon.

Great blog and info. Really sad and scary at the same time….all these characters that are associated with Ron and Misty… If these people don’t care about themselves or others…Just really sad all these kids that have to be affected by them. I pray for Haleigh.

It’s time for the rumors and lies to stop,it’s had nothing to do with finding Haleigh.It’s made the public step back and shake thier heads whenever hearing these people’s names.It sure hasn’t built any careers.There is something wrong with biomom,she started the seizures a few days before Haleigh went missing.Another missing child’s Mom had seizures,ahem.Biomom had a missing person site as her myspace friend,before Haleigh went missing,whoelse had that before?Everybody kept wondering why biomom kept fake crying and acted strange in her early interviews,now who else did that?Now,they are going to a kidfinders vigil and biomom’s mother is speaking on May 25th?Something is very wrong,too many similiarities of Haleigh and Caylee’s names,birthdates and we heard about Haleigh being missing when George was talking at the memorial.If biomom hates the Dad so bad,to accuse him of being an informant on national tv,not only could that get him killed,but also anyone around if someone wanted to get even with him,it would have endangered thier son.All of the family’s criminal records with drugs,they knew what they were doing on Geraldo’s show.Why have people set up lie after lie,day after day,what has been being covered up?Why have they went to such great lengths to take heat off of the biomom?They knew exactly what they were doing,was it all planned and now out of control?Did the people coming in,go over the top with rumors and lies and now it has revealed something much more sinister?And why was Dominic Casey brought in as a PI,for biomom’s side and when it was revealed,the rumors started hard and heavy to take attention off that PI and put it on another.People aren’t stupid.

Are you a friend of Ron, Misty, and the other drug addicts of Putnam County? This case seems to be turning more and more around Ron’s drug dealing and his role as an informant. Interesting that you are saying that calling Ron an informant puts people at risk. That’s a good observation - in fact it could well be some drug dealer higher up on the food chain who took Haliegh as punishment for Ron’s snitching. Haleigh’s mother seems to be the only genuine person in the whole bunch. You really sound naive.
Apparently Lisa doesn’t understand that there are those of us who know how the underworld works. People on the street hear far more then the average citizen. They make their living off of street people, and street people talk.. Among themselves they know everything that has come down in the last 25 years. Some of the info they pass around would make your hair curl. You set back and pre judge those who are out on the street looking for Haleigh, instead of praising them. If you know so much more than they do.. Then you need to run right down to the Le and tell them everything you know.. To have to stand and defend people so adamently, one must be involved with them. And apparently, you don’t want Haleigh Found, and I do wonder why???
What is going on with everyone? Jerome Williams getting free all the time? And bail bondsmen being pals with a convicted felon? Why doesn’t Putnam put Williams in jail with NO bond??? Keep the scum off the streets?
And what does Williams know about the Cummings girl? Can’t everyone see that he knows nothing and is just trying to keep himself out of jail?????
And if Williams does know something about the location of the Cummings girl then ‘waterboard’ him till he tells!
