I went on with my life wishing that one day I could end the torture I felt all those years. I am blessed having Simon at my side. He has helped me so much. I had nightmares everynight for over 30 years (I was thinking it was only like 26 years ago since this happened but my loving husband reminded me I was 10 years older than I was thinking I am) It was actually 36 years ago. LOL

With the help from Simon I rarely have the dreams anymore. I opened up to him the full details and he talked to me about them and he made me realize I had nothing to be ashamed of.

Anyway this isn’t about me. I only told this story to explain to the people that this kind of thing indeed does happen. It happened to me, it happened to Paul Scharff when his father was killed (the other guest that was on our show), it happened to our new friend Sean’s Voice when her grandson was killed, and now it is happening to Connie Bedwell.

This kind of coruption has got to stop. It is just so sad.

Please everyone, regardless of what you believe about the request for cash donations, you can still help.

Contact the relevant authorities to raise awareness and spark action on their part. This case can not be ignored if enough people act.

It is frustrating to say the least, that so many parties in official capacity have let this go on so long. This is not just a sad story about abuse - this is the life of an innocent child.

Simon and I truly love Blogger News and we love the people that help us make it a success but some need to realize what anna just said. We would NOT follow this if we didn’t have reason to believe. We are aware of the possibility of hoaxes and how common they are these days so we can only say if it is there are alot of people here that are all telling us the same thing. We have talked to officials that refuse to call us back. Why? Personally I think it is because they don’t want us reporting about it. Yes one of the bloggers did get a letter from an official but not as a reporter so sure they answered her. Now we think that is a very important factor.

I honestly don’t know why people are reacting the way they are. I do know for weeks before KarenCCC brought this story to Bnn I was a new regular to this forum. I was comfortable posting and had interacted with the long time regulars with no problems.

My first response to Karen was to contact Rape Crisis, which by the way may be able to assist even now. They are listed in the phone book.
Most crisis centers have attorneys and other resources that may be helpful, but they must be contacted by the person needing assistance. Anyway I had NOT at that point watched
“daddy’s worm”, after viewing it, I wanted to help.

There were a couple of things I saw in the video which left no doubt in my mind, this child is being assaulted. When I failed to join the group attacking Karen, I, too, came under attack.

The accusations made would have been laughable had these folks not been serious. I don’t blog on the threads they are on anymore. Some of them come here, using other names, I don’t know why they change their names. I can only conclude they don’t want to be ostracized and yet they want to help your grandbaby.

Some come here and post comments or pose questions in an accusatory tone, in an attempt to keep us from supporting Aaliyah. Mr. Bedwell those of us who believe this is happening are strong, independant thinkers and will not wain in our support.

I know it has to be hard to ignore them. BUT if you can do it, that is the best way to go. They want to argue, they want to pull you down to their level, why give them the satisfaction
of knowing it bothers you? You have truth on your side and hopefully all who matter will soon realize it. When you know lies are being told, dispute them of course, but don’t let it get to you. Pick your battles.

It may be hard for you to accept, but I have seen goodness in the hearts of some who must now seem heartless to you. I think its just so hard to believe this could go on. People can’t accept that this is happening, because they would also have to accept, it could happen to them.

Our world is full of people who are flawed. It’s hard to accept all the horrors we hear about, and it don’t seem to be getting any better. For some people denial is their way of coping. As long as they don’t acknowledge something. it’s not true.

Many of the long time regulars who blog here, have followed the Anthony story for nearly a year. In that time other tragedies have come to light. They can’t deny children are missing and murdered. They can deny a child is being abused, they can tell themselves there are two sides to this story. I am not trying to make excuses, I’m just saying its not personal.

It”s not that they don’t want to help, its just they don’t want to believe. They have taken the children, whose stories have been in the news, into their hearts, and the pain they feel for these kids is real. Pain changes who people are and how they respond to situations.

Stay strong Mr. Bedwell, your daughter needs you and little Aaliyah will need you to. There are many who believe this is real and we will continue to call and demand justice. Others will call and demand an investigation, either way the light is being put on this case. Aaliyah’s cries will be heard. God give you strength and bless you all.

One thing I would like to bring to your attention. On the 6th. in court the pedophiles attorney said that CPS and Auburn Police have reopened investigations. This was affirmed by Aaliyah’s worthless PC attorney. Something to be aware of; If CPS and APD have again opened investigations why would they have not at least removed Aaliyah from the pedophile’s home … even to foster care temporarily, until the dust settles. They haven’t. I’m afraid this points to more of the same from Placer County, CPS and Auburn Police Department. There just covering their asses because they’ve seriously messed up the first time! Please help keep up the pressure on all agencies. This is just the beginning.

It is very heartwarming to see how many people FINALLY believe that what we have been saying for 2 years is the truth. Sean’s murderer is serving life without the possibility of parole for first degree murder and an additional consecutive 9-15 years for first degree child abuse. I never ever considered a mother could be capable of torturing and killing her own child. It was absolutely inconcievable to me. My son has a long, long road ahead. I’m sure there will be healing, but there is more just coping with a knowledge of such horror lived with every day.
I know there are many here who doubt this story. To me it is in NO WAY far fetched and absolutely believable! I have seen far too much through and since our loss, to ever doubt someone’s cry for help.

I think most states have legal aide. But I don’t know of any state that has less than a year of two waiting list. Aaliyah can’t afford to wait until her mom’s name gets to the top of the list.

I have barely slept since seeing daddy’s worm, I couldn’t eat for days, if it were my child or grandchild, I know I would have gone off already. This is a blackeye for our whole nation and somebody HAS to do something.

I have seen posts saying Connie should have went underground, how and why did she give the baby to the abuser to start with? Why would she put this on the computer to start with? How could she subject her child to this? The questions go on and on and on some more.

Seriously what would all of us asking these questions do, if it was a child we raised and loved and who looked to us for protection????

I know I would do anything and everything in my power. God help me I would hope I could keep myself together to keep from committing far more serious crimes then breaking a court order. I don’t know how far I would go, but I know I would do WHAT EVER I had to, to stop a man from sexually abusing my innocent baby girl.

It is easy to sit here behind our computer screens and pass judgement on the Bedwell family, but in reality what if your child were living in the abuse that has become Aaliyah’s nightmare? It’s easy to say give the justice system time to work, well every day they fail to act, is another night of horror for this little girl.

So to the Bedwell family I would like to say, my heart is with you all. You are showing more restraint then the law has any right to expect. Surely to GOD someone will realize the damage that is being done to Aaliyah, and put a stop to it. I will continue to make calls and demand justice for her and all of you.

You sir, do not understand the meaning of a gag order. No matter if it does not have your name on it, if the INFO COMES FROM CONNIE HERSELF TO YOU then Connie can be held in contempt! I do not know how much more clear to make that point. I deal with the courts daily so I believe I have the right to speak.

Coming on here making accusations and blasting those who do not agree with her method of obtaining money does not endear me to want to assist further or help your daughter. So instead of attacking anyone and everyone, maybe get some legal advice yourself and calm down.

If you want the help of professionals that will mean Connie will have to obey the court orders until legal counsel can go in and fight to have them lifted.

I don’t believe I care to do anything further at this point. This entire family is hostile and unwilling to respect the court no matter how much you disagree with the order. Making an argument to why a lawyer should offer pro bono services has been very difficult on my end when I’m faced with this type of stuff.

NO ONE will be willing to offer any help unless this bashing fest ceases. As much as I hate to walk away from trying to help this child, if there is no willingness to respect the law, there will be no lawyer willing to step forward and help Connie.

Your attitude may have just cost your daughter a lawyer. I was willing to stick with this until I found someone even though I do not necessarily believe everything she has written. You are all out of control.
