Satsuma, Florida- Haleigh Cummings the gem of a child snatched from her bed during the early morning hours of February 10, 2009 has been missing for almost three months now. Just a few more days she will be at the three month mark. That is a very long time for any child to be missing. Alive and in the custody of a stranger or strangers. She must be awfully frightened wondering for her mommy and daddy and her brothers. How is she being treated? Is she being kept up on her schooling? Are they giving her, her medicine? There is so much to the unknown in regards to her being held captive by someone. The possibilities are heart wrenching they make me ill just thinking of what she is being subjected to and put through.
Honestly its driving me insane. I think of her every night day in and day out. What is she going through? Just knowing that Cobra thinks she is out there alive in the custody of some loser drives me up the wall. I pray that they’re properly feeding and clothing and caring for her. Where is she sleeping, are they reading to her, coloring with her, are they playing with her? I pray they are caring for her like she needs to be cared for. Haleigh is a child, she needs special care all children do.
I don’t know why someone would do this to Haleigh. Why take her away from her family its just unimaginable to me that they could do this to her. Who is involved in this? There are so many questions that need to be answered. Haleigh is a living, breathing human. She requires love, care and attention. Are the people holding her hostage capable of tending to a small child. Do they pack the brains to care for her? This has been on my mind since the radio show.
Since the radio show Sunday I have had a endless thought cycle about Haleigh the person holding her. Poor Haleigh in the hands of some loser who has no clue what they’re doing. Another thing that has been on my mind since the radio show is Ronald Cummings, her father, is he out searching. Satsuma is his turf his stomping grounds, is he out pounding the pavement searching for his daughter? What does any of the characters in this mix have to do with anything. Seems more then people want to give them credit for. It seems they have been quite the fountains of information regarding Haleigh’s where abouts. Cobra said something on air that whoever has her now is NOT the person who took her or cooked up this idea. Just drop her off at any fire station tuck tail and skin out. No one cares who you are or what you do just drop her at a child safe haven that is licensed to take her. Fire station, Hospital ect. Its not rocket science, you don’t have to be a genius to do this.
There has been lots of bickering and anger over Cobra’s involvement in this matter. People who don’t appreciate his services searching for Haleigh. People who would rather see him pack up and leave town. TJ Hart has been reporting on Cobra’s investigation its all there for people to view and read. To me its a slap to Haleigh’s precious face for people to complain about his presence in this situation Haleigh needs Cobra and TJ to be out there searching. She needs as many out there searching for her as she can get. To me its rude and uncalled for that anyone complains about Cobra and TJ’s presence in this investigation.
Haleigh is a five year old girl. She has curly blonde hair and brown eyes. She is three feet tall and weighs thirty nine pounds. She has a birthmark on her left cheek. If it’s true and Haleigh is out there in the custody of someone she may look different or be disguised. Please if you have any information regarding Haleigh or her abductor you are asked to call Putnam County Sheriffs at 386-329-0800.

Listen, when one of these bounty hunters actually produces something other than Gumby dog toys, art beads, unnessary distractions and quick bond for those who probably should be incarcerrated, then maybe, we out here will share the stars you obviously have in your eyes. Until then … I’ll keep my faith in the community, law enforcement, and prayer.

do appreciate your interest in these cases, Stone. Time to put the girlfriend in the slam and see what some alone time reveals. I wasn’t as impressed with Cobra, as the radio show audience. Time to move beyond covering costs and maybe making a buck, to stopping the problem at the source. All the same, focusing attention on the problem isn’t a bad thing, but,lock these sick buggers up and make them swim for the key. I hear French Guinana still has a prison type faciltiy open.

Oh come on! If Cobra knows so much why not just go get the little girl. You folks are all as dumb as posts. It has been obvious from the start that Ron, and family are hiding something more than a little grow patch in the swamp. No one wants to hear this but I’ll say it again. Either Ron or Misty did something awful to that little girl. Most likely it was a discipline incident that went too far. Ron got scared and called Momma ’cause she’s the only one with enough brains to cover it up. In the meantime “poor crystal” is running a scam that gives her free feed and a nest, at least for a while. I’m sure that some well intentioned folks are still looking but it ain’t Ronald and Misty. They are too busy living their sordid little lives in the armpit of Floriduh. I can’t tell you how much I would like to be wrong about this but I don’t think so. Oh and by the way, the great state of Floriduh needs to get Ron Jr. out of that mess as soon as possible.
Kitty.. I have since the beginning, believed that Haleigh went willing from the home with person or persons she knew, loved and trusted.
This of course is the least favor concept, the majority of people think otherwise, although there is nothing to even suggest she was forced or carried out of the home against her will. To be put to bed with one item of clothing on, and to find that item in the dirty clothes. This is a major sign, and no one can see it. They changed her clothes, thats the reason the light was on.. and a female trait, put the little nightshirt in the dirty clothes. In reality, it makes the entire incident too simple and very easy to track, if you work it in that direction. But, I guess people can’t see this has having an easy path. And everything is clouded by all the other players in this sad comedy of errors. This is a custody issue. And of course my opinion only.. Junior would have gone too.. had he not been sleeping on the bed with misty and hard to reach and take out of bed, without distrubing her.. I believe Haliegh let them in the front door, while she was up awake, watching snow dogs. They may well have left by the back door and left it ajar, but that back door does not stay wide open.. that is an untruth.. Watch the video’s.
So, where is Haleigh?? they had a sighting in Crestview, fl.. the lady said she saw her and recognized her right off, and began signing a song of Haleigh. The child stopped and turned and looked at the lady, right in the eye. But, being reported.. it came back and they said the little girl was not Haleigh on the video of the winn dixie.. So, I pulled up a video from winn dixie, near that one, on an armed robbery.. wanted to see how closely a person could be identified on those tapes. Well a great view of the top of the head, and unless you really know a person, or you can blow this video up to recognize features.. good luck.. I believe that child was Haleigh..
The next sighting of her in a car with a couple with Missouri plates, in Florida.. either wasn’t checked out, or just ruled out. Now both these sightings have been in the last month.. We set and wait.

@Frogpond, I do not think calling people names or saying people are dumb as posts is very nice. We are all entitled to think and or believe what we choose on this case or any other case for that matter. The whole key to this puzzle is Misty!! And it amazes me that LE is not able to break her down, but I do think they are watching her closely and choose not to let the public know the cards they hold. And to Cobra and TJ and all others involved in trying to find this little angel, they are in themselves angels. Cobra is a bondsman, private eye, etc. and I am sure has bigger fish to be out frying and catching then spending his time and HIS own funds in finding a little girl he has never met, but He chooses to do so and asking for Donations to fund this is not wrong nor is he trying to get rich off it like people want to believe. And furthermore I do not think Crystal is running a scam with the Center. I think she is a desperate women trying to find answers and trying to find her lost little girl that was lost on Ron’s watch! And for those that say well Crystal should have tried getting her kids back etc… well blah blah blah.. Look at Ron’s demeanor it does not take a rocket science to see that man has some anger management traits. Go back and listen to the 911 tape in the background you can hear him say to Misty “B###CH how did you loose my kid”. And to Stone thank you for keeping this little girl in the public eye this way. So many get forgotten and it’s a shame. I hope this child is okay somewhere and my prayers are with her family who truly want the answers.
Just know Haleigh you are in many prayers and many thoughts and you are a precious angel.

Why do you think that Haleigh going “willingly” would be the least favorite concept. That scenario gives us the most hope! It would be IMO the best scenario…then there is a chance that she is still alive!
The mere fact that she was lead out or taken out of her bed means “against her will” children do NOT have the capacity at 5 years old to know the danger or wrongness of the situation! Whether or not she put up a struggle does not mean it was or wasn’t against her will!
I’m sure her parents would say it was against “their” will that their child was taken period!
So I think that is a moot point! Nobody had permission by anyone in haleighs life that loved her and did not hurt her to take that child away from her family. Haleigh would not know the difference and would not be capable of knowing how wrong the whole situation was.

At first we thought chimo took haleigh…when you have a drug infested community with 200 chimos within 5 mile radius…anyone would think that the possibility of it being a sex offender was the highest of all possibilities.
However, with no “body”, and the merky waters that continue to surround haleighs whole family, it gives me hope that she was taken in fact by an extended family member to protect her from her own immediate family. I said it along time ago, perhaps daddy was not the nicest daddy to his little “girl” if ya know what i mean!
I call it like I see it. If that bothers you maybe you need to grow up. As far as having something nice to say, well when it happens in this case, I’ll say it. Who are you to tell me that I can only comment when what I have to say suits you? And to the folks who are offended b/c I think Crystal is running a scam, well just hand your money over to her. Don’t say that Frogpond didn’t warn you. Cobra is just a bail bondsman trying to become a bigger fish. Free publicity is valuable to him. LE knows what happened here and my guess is they are just waiting for one of the players to make a slip.
Everyone has their on opinion some are more blunt than others. But no one knows where Haleigh is so what we state are things we feel because we really care about Haleigh. So in my opinion we should all just pray for Haleigh to still be alive, and come home soon. Not argue over about what we THINK happened. Who really knows if Ron, Misty, or Crystal had anything to do with it at this point. My opinion is Misty is the key. And I am proud that Cobra is there looking for clues he shows that he cares.

I have a new theory..possibly Misty gave Haleigh “baby medicine” to make her sleep and the med interacted with her regular meds,or she gave her too much and she never woke up..that would explain why Misty first called Ron,instead of 911..when Ron found out,he could have invented the kidnapping theory,too protect her,I can’t see him turning state’s on Misty,and she does seem very GRATEFUL to Ron..posibility??
Terisa haven’t heard that before, that could have very well happened. But I don’t think Ron or Misty are clever enough to have gotten rid of the body so it could not be found, but u never know if they find the body and do an autopsy and drugs are found that would break my heart as a parent

Thanks Stone for remembering Haleigh. Please don’t forget about this other little child who went missing also from Florida ‘exactly’ one month before on Jan.10 2009. Little 6 year old disabled Adji. It seems he has almost completely been forgotten. Where is he? What is he feeling right now? Does anyone lose sleep at night wondering and going insane wondering where he is? Or is it that we never got the chance to know him in our hearts,and in our livingrooms. I ask anyone who reads this, please type his name and read some news stories about his disappearance, and learn about him.
Thank you for remembering Haleigh. Would anyone out there like to write about Adji too. He also matters, and deserves the chance to make someone besides his parents, be going insane too.

Pickles, I must tell you that your interview with Cobra was great, now I have to go to bed, I mowed the lawn today (1 acre) and was 90 percent finished before I realized the push mower is self propelled and I had not engaged it. We live on a hill too, so I am very sore and tired not to mention EMBARRESSED

Oh Pammy, that is the sweetest thing in the world. Enjoy everything, she will go thru so many changes. It is so fun to watch them grow and change. One day you will be a friend and a mom. I was always mom when they were young and now that they are grown and some of them married I get to be both. It really dose come full circle. They never out grow parents. One day you will be like me and realize that you both made it and in one piece. They are a gift, even during the hard times. I will get off of it now. I am at the empty nest stage and it is making me crazy.

Pammy im not kidding my brother went to war and I prayed non stop for GOD to protect him with 20,000 angels and when he came home from war he had an ANGEL TATTOOD ON HIS CALF IN DARK PRISON HOUSE BLUE…..GOD DOES TATTOOS….I AINT SH**TING YOU. He answered my prayers…..My mama always said only go to the Lord once or twice he knows what you need…o no….every second of the day…wehn my lil brother was in war I didnt eat or sleep or nothing NO NEWS at all I cry at the drop of a dime I was messed up with worry and worry pure raw worry …..when I seen him after he left back to come home then it stopped.

i tell you, i feel alittle better tonight but pickles described my feelings of late, pure raw worry i don’t know how to turn it off, i guess i do when i spend time with my girl, even though she was sick today we had the BEST day together, just talking, getting close… i think deep down shes missing me when i am at work, and shes just like worshipping me when I am at home.. i just cant explain it… all the things she says to me for 4 years old.. shes very adult like in thinking…
maybe its just the scare we had with her eye injury, just made me realize just ow important she is to me.. i actaully got threatened by the bosses if I didnt make it in today.. really… and the old me would have been like scared to not go , but today i didnt care i said “do what you have to do then, cause i aint leaving my daughter nor am i “getting a baby sitter” as they put it…

Pammy go do what I said lift up the head of her mattress and put pillows down on the box spring and then put the mattress back down it will elevate her head and the snot will run down her throat to her tummy she will cough less I promise…..put some water by her. Water is the only liquid that helps snot travel.

Pammmy, I worked with the elderly in a nursing home and private duty care until I retired to take care of my gramdmother. I had her for eight years. The last seven months she was bedridden and unable to talk or move. She died in July. I miss her like crazy. Last weekend I went up to her house in East Tenn. Her home has been sold and that was the last time that I would get to go there. Went to visit her. In two weeks my aunts and I are going to take flowers to all of all family that have moved in with God.
All my patients had dementia or same type illness. It was an honor to care for them.
Pammy sorry for your little girl. All your love will have her better in no time.

aww lockwood… yes it can be a tough profession… and it can be very rewarding before i had this job i took care of elderly too.. I lost 3 patients… one when igot pregnant and she was sooo thrilled for me… she didn;t live to meet her but I know shes up there looking down at us…
i love my job and my clients, just not the hours, the bosses…lol and the pay.. i’m gonna be working on a change coming up, maybe switching companies, for better hours and more time with my girl…
Lockwood I cared for my mother for four years until she passed away. My brother and sisters always say they couldn’t have done it and how great it was of me. I always have to tell them it was one of the most rewarding times of my life. Mom and I shared so much during those years. I often can hear her comments, we were so close. I thank the Lord for taking her home because she was in such pain. A part of her will always be with me.

It’s hard not to cry in the doctor’s office when your baby is being stitched up. I know exactly how hard it is on you as a mom. I can’t believe it- but the doctor told me there are parents that prefer to wait outside while their kids are getting stitched up.
I never could!! And boy - it’s like you said afterwards - major seperation anxiety- you regress to them being an infant that you have to watch breath…
What- you never sat up all nite to watch your baby breathe??? LOL

I wish I could say Haleigh is alive but I think she was gone before they ever took her out of the trailer,Psychic Gale St,John said she could not feel and fear from Haleigh going out either door.So this has to mean either she was un able to fill any thing or she had no feelings at all.Remember the trailer in the woods.I fell haleigh will be found close to it in a shallow grave .God have murcy on the person that took the life of this little angel.God I ask you to send your angles to haleigh and let her know it’s ok to be scared and it ok to leave this alwful place and live with you where she will have no more pain. I dont even bother with convincing myself anymore….it has to be ok. With things concerning them of course got to show them rationality but for me I have no well….I see something or hear someone say something and I dissect it and get to the bottom of it and it usually upsets me…lol….bad habit dissecting what ppl say……they dont normly want you to realize what they are trying to say to you if they can slide it by without you noticing.
yes its sooo quiet here.. my house is filled with noise all day, my job more noise… boss NOISE… so yah i sometimes stay up and suffer the tiredness just cause i need an adult out and some quiet thinking time.
Blues my daughter had 4 surgeries from 18mths - 13, the longest stay was a month at a childrens hospital in MN. I never left, after she was out of icu they always gave me a bed. What was sad, & I know not all parents can stay I hate to judge, but it was sad how many I could hear crying, I’d go ask the nurses why. Being there 24/7 you know who visits as well, some were on once a week if that.

She had to go to the emergency room recently for a migraine and they had to give her an IV. I had to get up on the gurney next to her and cover her eyes and hold her. The nurse was very kind, and patient and waited till she was ready.
I am practiced at being the strong momma, and afterward I excused myself to go to the ladies room and cried. It never gets any easier - you just get better at hiding it.
Afterward she told me she uses my bravery to get thru things …awwwww made me cry all over again just thinking about it!

But for my kids I show immediate rationality so they learn it and use it when they cut themselves or whatever they do when they are doing it…

My daughter told me she was going to marry her husband about 3 months before she ever dated him. They worked together and wouldn’t date because of that. Both of their jobs were eliminated and they started dating the same day. Two years later my daughter was happily married to the most wonderful son in law in the world.

I grew up in a family where my parents loved each other very much. It showed in everything they did. I thought that was what marriage was all about but a lot of people think it’s hokey.
I won’t push you, but that is terrible, beyond to think about what that was like. I’m glad you were strong enough to get away. Bad deals, I never used to believe a person could have 2 faces that you don’t see, you have to be there to know it. So sorry for you having to go through that.

Told you we had a lot in common. My ex tried to choke me to death when I was pregnant with my youngest son. He broke two ribs and I ended up with pneumonia. Eventually I let him come back, big mistake. He got mad one day and picked my son up by his neck and was choking him. That was the day I said enough, never again.
my son was on meth in H.S. I called the police on him & he got over it. I know how bad it was from that angle, can’t imagine trying to deal w/ a husband on it. I’ve never been around it otherwise & would have never known but he stole $ & I went through his wallet when he got home & found the bags. I put drano & rat poison on the counter not long after & told him to snort it, cuz thats what it is, thank God he got the picture cuz it would of killed me.

DM, I can sort of see maybe King showing a clip from the depo! And asking them about that. The problem is that IF the ants can keep their cool they will just say that Z’s lawsuit has no basis and the questions they were asked were irrelevant and it was all designed to condemn Maggot before her trial (Z’s lawyers colluding with the prosecution). And the problem with that is there is NO ONE on the program to counter that - to correct them.

My hesitation about that is that - as you know - there are people who believe them and support them. There are also people (somewhere I’m sure - the North Pole?) who have not followed this case like we have so they don’t know the ants like we do. All they see are Larry King kind of interviews and could get the wrong impression. As long as those people are not in positions of influence over others and never end up on the jury then fine. The tone at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office today appears to be upbeat and as determined to find 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings today as it was February 10, 2009 when she was abducted from her Satsuma, FL home in the middle of the night.
I spoke with Lt. Johnny Greenwood at length this morning to see where the investigation is at this point. The quick answer is that they have received over 4,000 leads and have interviewed over 300 people so far.
One thing I discovered today is that most of the men and women investigating the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings are parents, too. One could easily believe that beyond their jobs, they might also be invested in this case on somewhat of a personal level.
Lt. Johnny Greewood tells me the happiest day will come when he can call a press conference and announce that Haleigh has been returned safe and sound. But until then, Greenwood says the investigators on the case remain working at the same level of intensity as the day the little girl was reported missing.
Greenwood contends that until proven otherwise, it is the department’s belief that Haleigh is still alive.

We have a md appt. next month so that he can get the ok for flight school. He may start this summer even though he still has another year in school. I was taking care of my grandmother at my aunt’s in Nashville and his friend call me and said mama bear JJ is not responding he is just laying here. I said call 911, where are your parents. When the fire chief called me his level was 12. They gave him a shot and he woke up and said who are you and what is going on. Fun, Fun, I was three hours away. Scary. He has type 1 so he will have this for life.

if i said i was sitting here picking my nose on this article, most likely would piss someone off and theyd say someone on haleigh’s article is being stupid…getting her name out??? am i right or not??? no matter what its still making people take notice of the name!!!!
Call me crazy but I don’t think Haleigh is alive. If she was “kidnapped” as soon as the mega-publicity hit the kidnapper killed her or more likely she was killed that night in the trailer. Sorry I am just being realistic.
