IMO the clue to the smoking gun is the tool marking expert..a bullet casing was found, as was reported on HLN..this is not leaked by state..it is a fact of who’s on state witness list..why the tool marking expert?..why DP, put back on?there’s just so much the state is releasing..do they have to give the defense the reason for the markings expert?or can they call a witness without justification to the defense?

Spacely….I’m at a point, quite frankly, that I don’t know what to think. Out of over 200 posts, by Karen or Anne and even the one’s by Jan, over the last 72 hours, the only single solitary bit of back up anyone has offered is that they have “just talked to Connie”.

I understand good people with good intentions are saying these things, but this thing flies in the face of any kind of logic. Out of all the cops, CPS people, judges, attorneys and the rest of the people involved, is the story that every single one of them is protecting a child molester ???? Not one of them cares about the well being of this child ??

Another real problem with my acceptance of this is why did it take 2 years for this mother to get this story out ?? She apparently has computer skills, or someone she knows does, to produce the video. Why didn’t she make herself aware of all of the places to turn to that you posted yesterday ?? From all apparent indications this gag order has only been in effect a week or two. Why hasn’t she been screaming her head off ??

Trust me when I tell you, I would never wait 2 years watching my child being abused before I gave her the ultimate and total relief of killing the bastard.

I this morning after looking at all of the fighting over this issue during the night, I decided that I would write the DA and the Department of Justice, which I have done. They are posted at the Aaliyah article. I was initially going to write to the F.B.I, but decided the Department of Justice was more appropriate.

Until someone can show me something more than talking to Connie, I’m not inclined to do much more than that. The article written by the Ann Colter is fairly persuasive. How does anyone have any proof, other than talking to Connie, that it’s her ex ?? There’s only so far we can go until someone puts something that makes sense on the table.

We did all we could…

And I think we should all take a step back and not that the blog is undergoing a transformation from a group of people who came together over a single issue of child abuse/murder and has not begun to morph into one that is attempting to work together as a team to make a difference. Many who are here have done and are doing things on their own, but this is a different kind of effort and should be recognized as such.

First, there was the petition, which I believe was really the brainchild of one married couple here who have found a new purpose and challenge to work as they discussed the blog. And they fired up a ton of other readers.

Then, the attempts to contact law makers directly and I saw some here begin to make new individual efforts.

Now, we have all come together to help one person who came to our blog and asked for help. And we did. We did all we could, up to this moment. The time may come for more, but it is not today. And not all of it worked out as we would have hoped. People here got hurt. New people and long-timers. But that is the way it is with a team built from such a diverse group.

So, I think everyone should think about what we accomplished here over the last three days…regroup tomorrow…and we will tackle this one again on Monday when new info begins to trickle in…

Good to “see” you back!!! To try to answer your question, some of us were a little disappointed in the seeming lack of direct evidence but basically a lot of us think it won’t matter. Maggot will be convicted. There is plenty of evidence from her NEVER reporting Caylee missing to her lies, partying etc.
Plus there was evidence “linking” the duct tape to the ants house, the heart sticker to the ants’ house and the laundry bag and other bags to their house.
And we think that the state is holding back some evidence. THey didn’t put the DP back on the table for nothing! I think they’ve got more! Maggot’s going to be convicted!

Me too makes me just hold my vinny closer when I hear of these horrible monsters.. I wish I could just buy a big house with a lot of land and take in all the babies who are mistreated or have parents who do not know the precious jewel’s they have in their hands!

If the story about the little girl being molested by her custodial so called father turns out to be a hoax, can charges be brought against the hoaxter? I sure as hell hope so! I guess I missed the heated discussion last night but I’m sure it was way more interesting than that document dump the state gave up yesterday!

I was so disappointed over that document dump last nite. Us bloggers put our heart and soles into this case and other cases, it almost consumes us, which it really shouldn’t do, as we are living, and we do need to live our lives too, BUT, I can not help getting wrapped up in these children that are not given a chance to live their lives. We all have families and loved ones of our own, and we can not neglect them. You never know about life, it can be here one minute, and gone the next, and there is not way to ever get it back once it is gone…
But I was so looking forward to that dump, hoping that there was something there, something solid, just one little something…. It depressed me.
It makes you wonder, how can so many people who plan a murder carefully, leave so much evidence behind and get got, yet this party goer, pole rider, and more, not leave a pile of evidence. I just do not understand it.

About the doc dump…the state is NOt even close to telling all they have! IMO they have something none of us has considered or even know about! I think Ann is someone close to the father, if not him…but since we really don’t know what is going on, it just shows us there are two sides to this story and now we need both sides.

It is sad that this has been dragged into the public forum as it should have been handled by the courts and law enforcement, but since one of them brought it onto the internet and into the public forum, the other one is just going to have to accept that this is a public battle and prepare for the fact that anything they publish or have published on the internet may very well be traced back to them once the proper authorities get involved. If any of this turns out to be a scam, like if the vid is faked, then it is entirely possible an investigation will include everything found in connection to the case and the IP addresses it was posted from…

Oh my gosh. Hope the hailstones aren’t big ones. We had a hail storm a few years ago that put dents in the roofs and sides of houses. Broke a few windows. That was a bad one.
We’ve had really hot days and now cooler again with some rain - which we need to grow the flowers and veggies.
Yes it’s terrible to feel helpless in a situation like this but barring someone kidnapping the child (if anyone knows her real whereabouts) all we can do is work hard (which people have) to get at the truth and get the authorities on it. IF this turns out to be a scam those same authorities can deal with whoever perpetrated it because that would be an awful thing too.

LOTS of people wrote to Oprah to object to her giving them air time for their lies and money collection. But in the end Oprah said it was because they had agreed to an exclusive but the ants went on a morning show a week or so ago. That show was so stupid - drama queen Sindee on half a bottle of xanax. There was a big outcry to that show too. Have not heard from the ants since then. GOOD!

Jan I am very confused at your post because I do not view skeptism of a story as an attack on a person telling the story & that is all I have seen about this case. And even though their were skeptics many still called or emailed the authorities INCASE its true.
The only issue w/ the 2 you mentioned is their attacks, mainly AnneA, on the bloggers education or compassion level IF we all did not believe the story to be legit w/o investigation.

This will be the only time I ever mention this, EVER. I’ll tell you about violate sex abuse, my insides were so torn apart the doctor said I’d never had kids, he ran 2 D&Cs to clear one tube that was hanging by a thread. I never told anyone what the drs said when I was 20, I was confused, I do have medical proof. Let me go a little further for you, I DO NOT remember anything beyond a few flashes & an uncle I HATED & never knew why. My mother asked me when I was 39 if he did anything to me after an aunt, who has been f’ed up her whole life, told he molested her.
I never knew why I would throw up when I read the word Commerce on a city sign, it was the town they lived in. AND his wife, my great aunt was married to a conficted SO in the 60’s who raped my mother, she could pick em huh?
I’d say I’ve had a teeny bit of experience w/ sex abuse. I could go into the kids I’ve taken care & what I’ve seen, never had one tell me about a worm but I’ve seen many who had to masterbate to get to sleep or who sexually advanced others at the age of 3.

I won’t feel guilty if something happens to this child, I’ll feel bad, but not guilty. I called the Placer courthouse, what would me sending a $1000 do to save this child today though, after all the courts won’t listen to her, would $5000 make them listen??

I won’t feel guilty cuz I didn’t do it, its not my fault what/if her father does this, its not my fault her mother didn’t go into hiding, its not my fault her mother moved back to an known abusers town once she got away to Alaska, what exactly is my fault to feel guilt for??

Personally I would like to focus more on that missing teen in Myrtle Beach. I am tired of the long drivel from Karen and AnneA. If I see them again, I will no longer be posting. It is wasting my time, IMO

Yes I was one of the callers on one of the first shows. I’ve tried since then but each time coincidentally someone else asked or said what I was just going to before me. That was fine, though! Sometimes I can’t listen when it’s live so I listen to the recording.

I heard a rumor that there were cameras stationed near the area where Caylee’s body was found and that the prosecution has pictures of Casey and possibly someone else dumping the body. NG alluded to the fact that there was evidence pertaining to cameras but she said they were at the Amscot. I guess they were at the crime scene instead. Couldn’t begin to substantiate this because, like I said, it’s a rumor. However it did come through someone I personally believe. The info is also supposedly from Rev. Grund.

They were thinking that it was possibly a camera stationed for security at the school. Prosecution now has the pictures but I didn’t say they took them.
Don’t know a time frame.
Something had to have come to light because they decided to put the DP back on, in my opinion.

I’ve been blogging since blogging was ana infant and I’ve seen this happen many times.

We all have to remember that sitting behind these typed words is a human being. We don’t know that person nor what life experiences have made that person into whom he/she has become.

That said, when a blog’s topics are so human and heartbreaking as abuse of children, all those people behind the screen will bring their gut reactions to their posts. Some will be more visceral and some will let their cooler mind prevail. Neither reaction is WRONG, but many won’t understand the other’s reaction, no matter what.

The main thing to remember about blogging is, just as Jan tried to convey. And that is we ALL have the right to voice our opinion and we ALL must respect the opinion of the other. Certainly, we have a right to disagree with that opinion, but that doesn’t mean that blogger is wrong. It means we don’t agree with him/her.

What IS wrong is the attack on that person because of his/her post. Bloggers form alliances and that’s a normal result of daily back/forth. And, when one of those posters we thought was “one way” turns in a post that we don’t agree with, many people are quick to turn.

As I said, I’ve blogged for years, I’ve seen stuff like this totally dissolve a blog. I hope that doesn’t happen on the BNN site on our particular topic of child protection.

What most of us know is that the blog will continue, no matter who is posting. Its the nature of the beast. We have a great core,with many added posters. Lets do our best to keep it that way.

BUT.. that doesn’t mean we can’t make fun of wigs and outfits!

The defense team for Casey Anthony will file for a change of venue, hoping to get the high-profile case moved out of Central Florida, according to a broadcast report Sunday evening.

The legal team, headed by Jose Baez, will file the motion today in Orange County Circuit Court, WKMG-Channel 6 is reporting.

Prosecutors have been anticipating such a filing but did not know when it would come and don’t know if it will come Monday, said Randy Means, a spokesman for the State Attorney’s office.

Pickles - I have no idea. - why did they take swabs of the oilpan and other things on the undercarriage? There was a knife with a “sticky substance” on it - I don’t think it is duct tape residue. Maybe she was pokin around underneath.

Let me tell you another theory of mine relating to the duct tape on the baby’s skull…I don’t think it’s coincidence that all we’ve heard about is they found no prints from G, or C, or Lee (I think). Papa - It was a good article by AnneA. I’m not the same person I was a year ago. With all the Caylee, Haleigh, Sandra, Adji & now Emma tragedies that have gone on. We here are used to being suspicious, speculating, questioning, commenting. Some things we say are taken wrong - other times, we don’t word things clearly - or maybe we do get mad.

When I first joined in comments here, pickles knows how old I am, and she said “boy, I bet you have seen a lot in your day” (or something to that effect. I said I hadn’t seen anything like nowadays and maybe the media just didn’t report then.

I’ve changed my mind. Things are bad NOW. Maybe things move too fast now, may be people are self-centered and only think about mememe, something is going on. And, then, when you just about want to get off the planet, we must remember that most people are good and that a few rotten apples are not going to spoil the whole bunch.

I spoke to the Principal of the Special School where my Stalker went. Raised sans ANY RULES!!! NONE!!! He went to the highly respected, Wordsworth Academy, lived there the first year. We talked a few times on the phone. I told her about his home life and mother, and she said “These children are not born that way, they are CREATED.” So on and on … it goes. He has been in jail at least once, I heard. THE REAL DEAL, now. He is over 21 I think now. So sad isn’t it ….?

BUTTERS … yes the Douglas Fir trees, tall and majestic are all waiting here for you! And the one’s they are cutting down for lumber, are immediately replaced with seedlings. We have great Christmas Trees, don’t we? Douglas Firs have such tall straight bare trunks - some with hardly any branches near the bottom. Great for lumber.

I could recognize Douglas Firs after living her 3 weeks. My husband taught me. He sold lumber - had his own company and was the CEO too.
Great businessman. Got to work at 5:30AM every morning. Started making his business calls at 6:00AM - which was 9:00AM on the East Coast. Worked his way out west during the day. Lovely, lovely product. Clean. Always loved wooden things, toys, etc. Back home, unhealthy air, many factories close together near the Expressway spewing black smoke and dumping their waste into our brown rivers.

RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE RAINDEER - IN AUGUST? Uh oh! I HAD to play that for this cute little guy, I had to. I announced “THIS IS A SPECIAL REQUEST for ERIC!” (The people in the room saw this little guy standing beside me - they knew.) All was cool, I thought. I had taken care of my whole BIG room. He decided to sit on my bench beside me. Then people started peeking in the double doors from the overflow crowd in the center hall to see who this NUT CASE was who was playing RUDOLPH - in AUGUST. EVEN MY BOSS looked in! More desperate now, I tried to save face because they couldn’t see little Eric who was sitting beside me on my bench! LOUDLY THRU MY MIC - I said “THIS IS A SPECIAL REQUEST FOR LITTLE ERIC. Um … HE’S 5!” I had to do that about 2-3 more times. He was worth it!
