There are multiple levels of security between the front gate and plant, and all security guards are well trained and well armed (including automatic weapons). Another correction: Entergy is a Louisiana corporation, not Texas. Furthermore, Indian Point generates a significant percentage of the NYC area's power at low cost. The elimination of Indian Point's 2 units would result in significantly higher costs for electrical rate payers. One cannot drive through the gate at Indian Point without proper ID.
